Chapter 31: chapter 31 Righteousness
Before the chapter I need to shout out an ri fic that I long should've shouted out, but I had only just read it and I've got to say it's really good and thats an understatement. It's called Reverend Insanity: White Shadow Demonic Venerable by Bruhdamante

This was a wonderful sea, free souls, food for myself and my den of serpents, and not a care in the world. All I really had to do was refill my supply of primeval water on player's shop.
I ate some barbecue snake as I brought out from my aperture rank 1 karma gu. Its back end now had a very faint red light, indicating that I've accumulated some bad karma luck. It was most likely from killing all those serpents. It doesn't matter much anyways as long as I defeat one pirate crew I can not only negate the bad luck accumulating in karma gu but also gain good luck.
It was worth it though as after eating my fill of souls and purifying it my soul is now at a 20 man soul strength. I could comfortably control two more hundred beast kings and some more cannon fodder too. I should place Large appetite in Gu's might formation and lure in some beast kings.
So I went into the captain's cabin and swapped out small appetite gu with large appetite gu. As I was doing so a serpent on my neck began hissing. This serpent is called a hive minded serpent, their capable of sharing their senses with other hive minded serpents. I made sure to get as many of these serpents as I could. They make as excellent security, the fact that this one is hissing can only mean I've got company.
I went back out on deck and the hive minded serpent turned its head to the left. I looked to where it was looking and sure enough distantly into the sea I could see a ship. I then took out from my pocket a small telescope to look at them.
From what I could see it was a stranded sailing ship with no pirate flag. Not that most pirates show of a flag but I doubt they're pirates since some of the people on the ship are wearing similar attire. Meaning they must be from a righteous group as only the righteous care about appearances. It looked like they were fighting off several serpents and the number only increased as time went on. In the sea around the ship was a dark green liquid, that must be what was attracting them.
Might as well go and make some friends since their already here. I navigated my ship to slowly approach them, if i move to quick they might mistake me as a pirate group wanting to attack them. Just before I got too close to them a member on boad released his rank 3 aura and shouted out to me.
???[ STOP RIGHT THERE!!! This ship is part of the Qi clans navel force. State your name and intention!]
I stopped my ship and made my way to the front of the ship and similarly let out my rank 3 aura.
Crim[ theirs nothing to worry about my presence here. I'm not a pirate but a pirate hunter.]
???[ I'll have to take your word on it then. Is pirate hunting the reason why your in this sea?]
His tone became much more respectful once I let out my rank 3 aura, but obviously he'd still be on guard.
Crim[ yes and no, I am looking for pirates but I'm also an enslavement path gu master who specializes in serpents. So venomous serpent sea is the perfect place for me to be. Now what brings you guys here?]
As I spoke i had my power python slither around my body. It shouldn't be that hard for him to believe me, my whole ship is covered in serpents.
???[ not only are you a pirate hunter but your also an enslavement path gu master. Please forgive my earlier rudeness, as for what we're doing here. My Qi clan specializes in transformation path, we're here to gather refinement materials and some live serpents as well.]
Crim[ no worries my friend it's normal to have your guard up in the seas, what type of serpents do you need I probably have a few.]
???[ would you happen to have any dark scale snakes, iron fang menace, or ship wreckers? We'll be sure to pay a good price for them especially if their alive.]
Dark scale snakes were a dark path beasts the excel at concealing themselves in the daek, I caught a few but they mainly only appear at night. While iron fang menaces were snakes with metal path ties. Their scales and fangs as strong as iron even their tail was like a metal spear, so I've got alot of them. As for the ship wreckers I've long since been collecting them. All three could be considered excellent transformations, since gu masters could truly bring out their true potential in battle.
Crim[ as for a matter of fact I have all three, get some cages ready for them and I send them on over.]
At my words he ordered his men to get the cages prepared, they had to get a special cage for the ship wreckers though. Otherwise they'd destroy the cage and escape.
Once they finished prepping the cages and gave me the A ok. I sent 15 dark scale serpents, 32 iron fang menaces, and about 50 ship wreckers.
Crim[ these are all the ones I had under control of one of my beast kings. As for the rest their under my control by a consumable gu. So please understand why I didn't give everything I had.]
???[ no worries at all, in fact we're incredibly grateful to you. Its very hard to capture them alive for us. Most of the time we just kill them and store their bodies as materials. Now for the payment for all the liv...]
Before he could finish his sentence I interrupted him.
Crim[ oh don't worry about such things, consider this a gift. Besides as fellow righteous path cultivators we should naturally help one another. These serpents mean nothing to me here in this sea I can easily replace them.]
???[ then let me thank you as a Qi clansmen. If their is anything you would need please inform us.]
Crim[ you wouldn't happen to have the latest whereabouts on the pirate known as the sea plague?]
Qi clansman[ the sea plague? Right your a pirate hunter, is that why your in this sea. Your looking for that pirate.... Last I heard of him he was at the deadly sea. After all its safer for him to hide there, who would want to sail into a sea that had pools of poison that melt your ship.]
Crim[ thanks for letting me know, say do you need more serpents?]
Qi clansman[ no problem, and yeah the more we have the better.]
Crim[ thats good to hear, you see I have my own method of attracting serpents. If you want I could activate it and help you capture them, but I will say this any beast kings that show up I want them for myself.]
Qi clans[ thats perfectly fine by us, so please go ahead and activate your method.]
After hearing his agreement I activated Gu's might formation. Causing all the serpents nearby to disregard their fear or precaution. All they had left was a great hunger, the surrounding sea began to have ripples all around our ships. Within seconds several serpents emerged from the sea and began to slither up the ships. I had my deep sea serpent underneath our ships to make sure none of the serpents are destroying the ships from underneath.
Just like all the previous times I used qi shape gu to gather as many serpents that could fit into my large shipping creates. My power python then kept them in check. As I was doing that from the other ship I heard some cries.
Qi clansman[ sir a hundred beast is on the side of our ship.]
I look over to see a large ship wrecker on the side of their ship dissolving it with its venom. What a perfect specimen and a perfect addition to my little army. I sent over a gaint net created by qi shape and scooped up the hundred beast king. Its venom was starting to sizzle away at the net, but before it could get through I sent over a rank 2 serpent enslavement gu. Its entire body shook and then became motion less as if I shot it dead, but all that happened was that I had subdued it.
With this beast alone I could probably sink most pirate ships, and now any other ship wrecker I find will be a breeze to subdue. I deactivated qi shape and my new beast king went into the water. I commanded it to subdue any ship wrecker around the two ship.
Unfortunately it was the only beast king thats shown up, and after about two hours the Qi clansmen asked me to stop my method to attract serpents. Since they were low on primeval essence.
Qi[ clansman[ thank you serpent king, thanks to you we have so many live serpents that we most likely won't have to return to this sea. We plan on breeding them back at our clan.]
Crim[ it was really no problem, and thanks to you I know I should go to the deadly sea to hunt down the plague.]
The clansmen bowed down slightly
Qi clansman[ then we wish you the best of luck.]
After some small talk the Qi clansmen sailed away. Once they were gone I brought out from my aperture karma gu. It no longer had the faint red light, it instead had a faint gold light. After helping the Qi clansmen and giving them serpents for free I managed to not only get rid of the bad luck I was accumulating but also gain some good luck.
Now with my serpent army becoming stronger with my new beast king. I think its time I leave this sea and find that pirate group.
