Chapter 2: The Awakening
Aoki's POV
The warm morning Sun strikes my face giving me a sense of relief and calm, a moment to enjoy.
I sat on the hospital bed looking at the beautiful meal in front of me, one we can never have in my family that's the consequence of being poor. Who am I to blame, My Parents? God? Or Myself? I guess there's no one to blame
*sigh
I twist my wait stretching my neck and peeped through the window beside me looking at different students going to schools
I positioned myself facing my meal again, recollecting what had happened during that fateful day. Just thinking about it gave me a headache, all I could remember was having a heart attack and choking on my breath. That was it, nothing else.
"Ouch"
The pain in my head started again.

I was so tired of everything, tired of life, tired of the voices in my head, why can it stop? Am I running mad? Question lots and lots of question flooded my head, just then
*knock *knock
"Aoki-san? Oh Aoki-san you haven't eaten your meal and it's time for your shot"
A young nurse probably in her early twenties questioned me, she was the one incharge of my medications.
"Sorry, just give me 30 minutes please" I said
"Sure, please you have to be fast it's almost noon" She said and went out closing the door
I face the meal once more and bagan to eat, it was a fruit salad with green tea beside it, the doctor advised me to eat light and lots of fruits for quick recovery
Just as I began to consume the meal a bar appeared in front of me, I wasn't startled because it wasn't my face time seeing it the face time i saw it I almost disgraced myself
As I ate the meal the bar began to increase on top of it was written hunger level 'Hunger level'
After some minutes I finished the meal and drank the green tea, I regained my strength a little and reached out for a button on top of a drawer beside my bed, it was to alert the nurse that the patient needed some service of sort
Minutes after clicking the button the nurse comes in again with a metal tray and lots of drugs with a syringe on it.
She administered the injection on my butt like a professional and was about to leave
"Aoki-san you can head outside if you feel like walking around" She said with a smile, I nodded showing that i got the information
After getting myself I then decided to head outside to the hospital park where patients like kids, young adults and seniors went for recreation.
I spotted a free bench and went ahead to make myself comfortable. I closed my head trying to recall what happened again but yet nothing came.
It's already been two week since the accident happened and the nurses said I was asleep for one week straight, my parents came to visit, both my teammates and some friends, the hospital fare was covered by the school board that's all that matters, I don't want to be a burden to my parents any more.
I continued to wonder in my endless space of thought
'If only I can recall what happened' I murmur subconsciously

A holographic television screen appeared at my face and displayed what happened few minutes before I passed out
It showed as the ball entered the post, it seemed like I played it because it was going directly from my position. After that Eita rushed at me but the rest of the team stared in disbelief and then began to convulse, bleeding from my nose and ears, turning bright red and then I collapsed.
The information I just gained was good but yet lacking, what caused the convulsion? How did I score? I still needed answers to those questions
Just then it strikes me, I asked a question and I got the answer from this weird voice only I can hear and see, 'let me try again' I concluded
"What caused the convulsion?" I asked

"Rebirth? Level lending? What are those?" I asked, I was very confused and frightened.
Just then an avatar body appeared in front of me rotating

"So thats what happened" it was all hard to believe, it's almost as if I was in a fantasy world game
"I have a final question, what or who is Grace?"
<I am referred to many names, Hope, Second chance or Rebirth>
"Then can I call you Jarvis" I asked jokingly
<Jarvis?? You can call me whatever you want>

"Wow"
I was so impressed and short of words
<Jarvis will like to display Host's stats> Jarvis voice rings, I was already getting used to the voice, she sounded nice and cute, or is it all in my head, wait a sec am I falling for a robot?
Just as I was in my wonder land again a wide screen stretching both sides appeared at my face.
It was detailed and easy to understand, my age, full name, weight height everything was there

These were the important stats. Upon going through the start I hope was lost I noticed something
"Hey Jarvis what's that" My fingers pointing the 'Response: 25^(SA: Analysis)'

<System Attributes are special features I unlock to help you over obstacles and challenges and the only way I only those features are through undergoing those obstacles and challenges>
<While Host Attributes are skill Host gains while undergoing Challenges, they are only obtain through completing daily quest or in most case you gain them during challenges too>
"It's a lot to take in, but I have to consume all the information anyways" I sigh relaxing on the bench
"Hey playtime is over it's 12 o'clock, time for you afternoon meal" I overheard a woman talking to her son
Then a bell like notification ring out in my ears and Jarvis voice follows

"What the hell is this?" I question as I stare at the screen in front of me
"Aoki-san it's time for you afternoon meal" The young nurse called out to me
"Sorry I'm coming" I said sweeping out the screen in front of me
I didn't know that was a terrible mistake I just did
