(3rd PoV)
Everyone fell silent as all the soldiers who were initially focused on defeating the hydra suddenly stopped and turned their attention to *Rei*, even the hydra itself stopped as it sensed a stronger aura from him.
Lyria, Vyrn, Djeeta, and Katalina were shocked to see this drastic change in Rei, especially Djeeta and Vyrn who had been living with Rei for over a month and already understood his personality.
A wind blew from the flapping of the two black wings that appeared on *Rei's* back as he laughed.
Lyria felt a dark and evil aura from Rei's body which made her shudder even more, suddenly Djeeta stood up and tried to approach Rei.
"Rei...? Is that you? It's me, Djeeta, say something Rei," Djeeta asked *Rei* as she slowly approached him.
"Hmm?" *Rei* turned towards the voice calling him and when he saw the source, he smirked and chuckled.
"You? Singularity? So that's it... I didn't expect this body to make contact with singularity before my plan started" *Rei* whispered something quietly but Djeeta couldn't hear him.
Then he seemed to focus on his body and looked at his hands.
"Tch, this is all I can use right now."
*Rei* then ignored Djeeta who was trying to approach him and looked at the source of why this body suddenly died.
"Hahaha, that? I didn't expect you (Singularity) to lose to such a lowly monster like that."
*Rei* laughed again and suddenly his black aura grew larger and the wind made Djeeta thrown back again.
"Kyaaaaaaa"
Djeeta was thrown back and it made her move further away from Rei.
"Djeeta, are you okay?" Vyrn approached Djeeta and checked if she was injured or not.
"Hey Rei, what are you doing! Why did you make Djeeta get thrown like that?" Vyrn looked angry seeing Djeeta being thrown because of Rei's actions.
*Rei* ignored Vyrn's question and floated towards the hydra.
*GROAAAAARRRR*
The hydra began to rampage due to its instincts went haywire. It wanted to escape because the aura of that person was stronger than it, but the effect of the dark essence made it want to destroy anything in front of it.
"Dark essence? I didn't expect someone to still be using something like that" *Rei* shook his head and floated closer to the hydra.
*GRAAAAA*
The hydra started to attack *Rei* but *Rei* just stood there silently and let it attack.
*BOOOMMM*
The sound of the impact was heard and *Rei* and the hydra were covered in smoke from the hydra's attack.
Everyone was watching *Rei* and the hydra, especially Djeeta who was very worried about *Rei*.
"REEEEIIIII" Djeeta tried to approach *Rei* but was stopped by Vyrn.
"Wait, Djeeta. Don't go there yet, it's still dangerous," Vyrn pulled Djeeta's hand.
"Let go, Vyrn. Rei need our help, I have to save him," Djeeta tried to free herself from Vyrn's hold.
Then the smoke blocking their view slowly disappeared and they could see what was happening with *Rei*.
They were all surprised to see *Rei* still floating and the hydra's three heads trying to bite him but failing to penetrate his body.
"Is that all? It seems like you're still lacking in dark essence" *Rei* taunted the hydra and raised his right hand to the right.
"Come!"
Suddenly, cracks appeared on Rei's right hand, gradually increasing over time.
Then, a gold-colored light suddenly appeared, making everyone confused about what Rei was doing.
The light became so bright, making it difficult for everyone to see what was happening, but slowly the light decreased little by little and then it disappeared.
When everyone could see again, they felt an even stronger aura emanating from Rei, causing them all to tremble and struggle to stand.
Even Katalina, accustomed to pressure during battles, could not withstand it and fell.
They saw a gold sword appearing in Rei's right hand, emitting a thick dark black aura.
Rei raised his right hand and began to swing his sword.
"Die!"
Suddenly, a strong wind emerged as Rei slashed.
"Kyaaaaaa"
"Uaaaahhhhhh"
"Aaaaaaaaa"
Everyone was blown away, even those not near Rei and the Hydra was still get blown away. Trees around them collapsed and were destroyed.
When the wind stopped, they saw that the Hydra had disappeared without a trace, not even a drop of blood left.
All they could see was Rei still holding his weapon and the mark of his slash cutting through the ground in front of him, far and deep.
This made some of them wonder if Rei swung his sword harder, could he cut this island in half.
Everyone fell silent, even Pommern, who usually talked a lot, could only watch and see what *rei* was doing.
(Djeeta POV)
Djeeta was feeling a lot of strange things today, when she saw rei hugging lyria, she felt her chest tighten and wanted so badly to separate them both..
but because she didn't understand what she was feeling, she could only watch them hugging like that and smiled as she saw the girl they had just met finally looked relieved as something she had been holding back finally came out.
Then she felt proud watching her and rei, helped by the female warrior they had just met, defeat the hydra.
She was happy to see the progress in Rei's fighting, who just a month ago couldn't even handle a sword properly.
but Djeeta felt sorry for him because the monster he fought for the first time was a Hydra.
Then the feeling of pain when she saw rei protecting her, but she felt a little joy seeing rei protect her without thinking first, even though he often scolded her for doing something without thinking first.
But the pain grew stronger when she saw rei about to die for protecting her and she wondered why he would sacrifice himself for her even though they had only known each other for a month.
Then seeing rei wake up and his wounds healed, i felt happy because i could still spend time with him.
But I realized that the one that wake up wasn't rei, he had a different aura and his dark aura was getting stronger.
I tried to approach him and wake him up but before I could do that, rei released more of his aura and spread his wings, throwing me away.
(3rd POV)
After that, *Rei* turned towards the Singularity group and began to float towards them.
Katalina saw *Rei* approaching them and forced herself to stand up and run towards them.
"Stop, what do you want to do?" Katalina threatened *Rei* even though she knew she couldn't possibly defeat the current Rei.
"Hmm? One of the members of the Singularity group, huh?" *Rei* looked at Katalina and observed her aura.
"I just want to test something"
*Rei* smiled and his aura emerged again.
"Tch!" Katalina began to feel that dark aura again.
"Djeeta, stand up, we need to do something" Katalina shouted towards Djeeta, who was still sitting due to the sword aura from Rei earlier.
"Ah, sorry, Katalina."
Djeeta stood up, although her legs were still trembling.
"Hey, what are you doing with Rei! Get out of his body," Suddenly they hear vyrn voice, who flying beside lyria.
'Hmm? The girl in blue and the red dragon?' *Rei* looked at both of them.
'So it's finally Starting.'
Djeeta and Katalina looked at *Rei* seriously, realizing they couldn't afford to be careless when facing him.
*Rei* glanced at both of them, then chuckled and made his sword disappear.
Then he looked around and pointed his right hand towards one of the soldiers who tried to escape.
Yes, Pommern and the others were silently trying to flee. Djeeta and the others didn't pay much attention to them as they were too focused on *Rei*.
One of the swords belonging to the soldier flew towards *Rei's* hand.
*Grab* "Hmm, this should be enough for now" *Rei* muttered and tried to swing the sword a few times.
Katalina and Djeeta, seeing this, gripped their weapons tighter and prepared themselves.
"Alright, Singularity and her friends, show me your capabilities."
Djeeta and Katalina advanced to attack *Rei* simultaneously, but *Rei* effortlessly redirected their attacks.
(Lyria PoV)
Lyria felt frustrated because she couldn't do anything, she saw Katalina and the girl she just met fighting with someone who was making her chest feel tight before.
"Wow, Rei really changed drastically! He can easily compete with Djeeta and Katalina"
"If this continues, they won't be able to bring Rei back to normal" Vyrn shouted, flying around in circles while thinking of a plan to return Rei to normal.
Hearing that, Lyria looked at her necklace and thought of something.
'Maybe if I do that, I can bring Rei back to normal' but she remembered the experiments the Empire had done to her before, making her shudder and feel afraid again.
"Damn it!"
"Hey, Rei, come back!"
Lyria heard Katalina and Djeeta's shouts as they continued to attack Rei with no progress at all, as he was still toying with both of them.
Lyria remembered the moment when Rei hugged her, making her feel warm and fluttery in her stomach, especially the feeling she had when she first saw Rei.
She then lifted her head with a serious look and turned to Vyrn.
"Vyrn, I have a plan, can you fly to Katalina and Djeeta and tell them my plan?"
"Hmm? You have a plan? Alright then! Leave it to me, I will inform them," Vyrn said, pounding his chest with a serious expression.
(3rd PoV)
*Clang*
*swish*
*Whoosh*
Their battle is still ongoing without any progress at all.
Where Djeeta and Katalina are trying to defeat Rei and Rei who are still playing with both of them.
Then Djeeta and Katalina step back and are seen out of breath.
"Hah...hah...hah... this is really bad, after fighting the Hydra, my stamina is completely depleted," Katalina looks exhausted.
"Rei... why are you just silent... if you continue like this, I will be angry with you," Djeeta tries to threaten Rei.
"Hey you two," suddenly Vyrn's voice is heard, and they both turn towards him.
"Vyrn? What are you doing here? It's dangerous, stay away." Djeeta sounded worried about her friend that can get caught in their battle.
"Wait, Lyria has a plan, so I will tell you the plan."
Vyrn whispers something to the two of them, *Rei* lets them make a plan because he is not really concerned about what is happening right now.
He just wants to test the abilities of Singularity and his friend at the moment.
Katalina looks like she's arguing with Vyrn but after hearing Vyrn's words she finally gives in and trusts Lyria's idea.
"Alright, I agree with Lyria's plan."
"Yes, I also agree, even though this plan looks dangerous, it's better than not having any other plan."
"Are you done?" *Rei* speaks, making the three of them turn towards him.
"Hah, yes, we are done, sorry for making you wait. Now it's our turn to defeat you and bring Rei back" Vyrn shouts towards *Rei* while teasing him.
After that, they both attacked *Rei* again.
"Hyaaaaaahhhh"
Djeeta and Katalina scream and continue to attacking *Rei* relentlessly without giving any gap.
*Rei* still deflects their attacks without retaliating while realizing that his time is running out.
"VORPAL BLADE"
"BLADES OF FROST"
They both use their techniques and try to get *Rei* to focus on them.
"Primeval dragon..." suddenly a resounding voice is heard.
A strong aura suddenly emerges from a certain direction and the sky starts to darken.
"Child of flames and darkness..."
"Thy name is..."
The aura becomes stronger and the weather becomes darker until the sound of thunder is heard.
"Bahamut!"
*Shiiiingg*
A tower of light emerges from Lyria's direction, reaching the sky, and from that light appears a large dragon.
The dragon has dark skin and its face and hands are covered by something.
But the thing that covered its face break and then the dragon start screaming.
*ROAAAARRRRR*
