Chapter 33: Meeting the mother -in- law prt 1
"Fuuuu~"
A sigh escaped Carter's lips as he found himself back in his own world.
The sounds of the birds happily chirped embraced his wake, the trees swayed gently with each touch of the wind, the insects preyed amongst themselves, while the sun shined brightly, illuminating Carter with its magnificent light.
"Refreshing," Carter thought to himself as he exhaled deeply.
Shifting his sore body into a more comfortable position, Carter brought his hands upwards.
A trace of sunlight seeped through the crack in his hand.
A ray of sunlight touched his fair face, prompting Carter to close his eyes.
"I can feel it, the breath of life. Even the small insects here possess such a thing," Carter thought to himself.
Closing his eyes, Carter intertwined his fingers with his hair. This moment of silence and peace was a precious thing for him.
Would there ever come a day when he'd actually have such peace and quietness?
The days to come would be anything but normal, and Carter was prepared for it.
Amidst the quality time to himself, he then proceeded to pay Amelia a visit.
Being a father was a thing he came to love, and the love he had for his wives only grew over the short period of time they were separated.
Now that he had the time to think about it, Carter had come to a realization that there was barely any time for his wives due to how busy he was these days.
A sigh escaped his lips as he chuckled visibly.
"I guess I could spoil them a little," Carter thought.
Standing to his feet, Carter then glanced around before he made his way through the rice field so that he could make his way home.
A crack sounded as the door was pushed open, various sounds filled the air, and Carter managed to guess what was what.
Shaking his head, Carter made his way through the door. It didn't take much longer for him to arrive in the living room where he saw Elena and Sophie.
The two girls were using their individual devices to play a game that required the use of two phones.
"Pew!! Pew!!"
"Turn over there, Elena, this is the last mission. We can't let the evil boss escape, you know?" Sophie said, her attention however was glued to the game.
Amidst hearing Sophie's words, Elena frowned as she gnashed her teeth.
"I... I'm trying! Wait, he's running away again."
Having heard enough, Carter didn't bother to disturb the two.
He could always talk to them later; unfortunately, now wasn't the appropriate time.
Making his way to the main bedroom that was on the bottom floor, the door creaked slightly as Carter made his way inside.
Amelia and Ella were still asleep so there wasn't a need to disturb them now.
Closing the door slowly, Carter then sighed in a stressful tone.
"Luckily, she wasn't awake, or the consequences might've been different," he thought.
Amelia had been up for most of the night due to Ella's constant cry, and if there were two things Carter couldn't manage at the moment, it'd be an angry mother and a really angry mother.
Hence, he shifted his attention elsewhere.
A place he had been pondering on for a long while.
There was no Selene, no Aria, no Sparrow, and no Lily.
Glancing at the two women that were comfortably enjoying themselves, Carter sighed deeply.
Seeing them so immersed made him ponder on whether he truly wanted to disturb them.
Sighing in defeat, Carter sneakily made his way upstairs into the room where Selene would've been at this time.
....
There wasn't a need to knock so Carter quickly made his way inside.
Slightly pushing the door open his gaze caught sight of a aggrieved Selene who was coincidentally on the bed at this moment.
Painful cry's escaped Selene's lips as she tugged at her waist.
"Having troubles again are we!" Carter abruptly said.
A slight shiver ran through Selene's spine as she hurriedly tried to say up.
However Carter didn't allow her to do such a thing—with quick movements he went over to her side and lightly tapped her shoulder.
Having felt his touch Selene let down a bit of resistance,she then turned her head upwards which allowed her to get a better view of the man before her.
Just being by his side reminded Selene of something sweet unfortunately that wasn't what had caught her attention _rather it was his face.
Carter's hair became more longer than what it was a few months ago, idealisticly Selene could clearly remember that his hair had curls but now it was a totally different.
His hair was extremely straight, it gracefully fell down his shoulders while also incorpting itself with a mix of black and golden, his facial structure became extremely more shaper than what it originally was especially his jaw line .
Lifting her head a bit more Selene's blue eyes met with a striking pair of golden eyes.
Throughout all this Selene felt a small force, it was as if it would suck her in anytime , luckily this was just her husband.
Charmed by his newfound changes Selene turned to face him, her hands rightfully made its way under his shirt.
Fuuu~
A deep exhale escaped Carter's lips as he thought of something that could calm his thoughts.
Slowly Selene ran her fingers through his lower abs that were even more well refined.
Slowly she made her way into his laps —selene then brought her lips closer to his ear .
Fuuu~
Selene blowed, into Carter's ear skillfully —a small smiled danced on her face as he then gently bit his ear .
'alright let's just calm down shall we?' Carter said to himself.
A light sigh escaped Carter's lips as he wrapped his hands around Selene's waist —he then gently massaged her buldged stomach as he said .
"How's your back? Is it not hurting as it's supposed to ?" Carter asked as he held his head up to hide the burning sensation on his ears.
Selene smiled playfully as she tugged at his shirt before eventually sealing his lips with a kiss.
Mhhh!
Carter didn't reject her advances rather he embraced them.
Soon their lips parted leaving a bridge of saliva for that eventful moment.
Staring into Carter's golden eyes Selene couldn't help it—the temptation to say something was really getting to her .
Slowly her lips parted and before Selene knew it she blurted what was truly at the bottom of her heart.
"You have beautiful eyes husband, If they beautiful then then they're beautiful now —abd there's also this....b..body of your's that somehow make me want to crave more" Selene playfully said .
A deep sigh escaped Carter's lips as he gulped ,he felt something rising at this moment and he truly hoped for it to go down.
If not ....
Seeing him raise his head upwards Selene took the time to stare at his adams apple that moved each time he gulped.
"Your so sexy do you know that?"
Hearing this Carter held his head downwards so that he could match Selene's gaze..
"Are you provoking me? Or are you -"
Placing her hands on Carter's lips Selene then wrapped her free hand around his waist—yet throughout all this it was actually a means to enjoy his back.
"Now tell me lovely husband, what do you think I'm doing?" Selene seductively replied.
