Chapter 2: Chapter 2 : In the Hands of the Destiny
Few days passed after the beginning of a new chapter in the life of Hiroshi . For the first time , he became friend with a cute yet smart girl. While thinking about all this , He was returning to his apartment after a small shopping from the nearby Market.
Hiroshi lives alone in his apartment which is not too far from school.His apartment had 1 floor but also had a nice balcony to relax.His apartment is big enough for a single person . He has all the supplied needed for living like Kitchen utensils , Games , a nice bed , and many more.
Just as he entered his apartment , it was already 3 : 00 pm . He took out a bag of chips and started munching on it. After he finished eating , he got a call from his friend Ken Makoto.
Ken was Hiroshi's best friend who had a cheerful smile on his face . His eyes were like that of ocean , light blue expressing peace and kindness . He also has a pleasant voice . He loves to crack jokes with his bestfriend Hiroshi.
He received the call.
" how are you Hiroshi " Ken said
" I am fine , Ken " Hiroshi replied
" Do you have any plan for this weekend. "
" I was about to get a small nap for now. "
" Sleeping on Weekend , how boring. "
" Yah , Tell me about yours "
" I am heading over to my family today for this weekend "
" Yeah , go and Have fun "
" Seems like It's becoming boring for you , OK I will hang up now , Bye "
" Bye "
This conversation ended within minutes.
Hiroshi went to sleep for timepass around 4 pm.
Around 6 : 20 , he was awake but he was not feeling fine, his head was burning up as well as his body. For conformation, he checked for a fever with the thermometer. The result was shocking indicating He had a fever of 103 degree Fahrenheit. He panicked a little bit and took a little bit of medications he had left.
Around 7 pm , His health became worse as he was suffering twice of pain from before .
In the panicking, he left the apartment for medical checkup, As he was crossing the road , he was feeling very dizzy and his head was totally burning up. As he continued to walk , he had lost his consciousness, and he fell in the middle of an alone street.
Hours passed since he lost his consciousness , and gained his senses.
He found himself lying on a bed in a medical room and became puzzled on how he got there. Soon, a nurse entered the room ,
"How're you feeling , boy " Nurse asked
"I am feeling just about fine " he asked " Mind if you answer me how I got here "
" You were brought by a young girl of about your age and she told that you need a medical checkup "
Having a puzzled look on his face ,
he replied " Thanks for letting me know "
Soon , he began to think who could have been an angel to save his life . Just as he was thinking this , a young girl entered his room.
" How are you feeling " She asked with a blank face
" Can you introduce yourself please " Hiroshi requested with a wry smile
" Oh , My name Izumi Aiko" she introduced herself
" Nice to meet you , Myself Kenzo Hiroshi " Hiroshi said
" Don't ever fall down on an alone road "
"Sorry for this and thanks for saving my life , you're just like an angel to me "
"Im not an angel , and I can't leave anyone lying especially on a silent night , it would make Me look like cruel "
The conversation soon came to an end , she left the room after telling To take care of himself.
Hiroshi left the hospital next morning and was told that he just had high fever and due to the panicking , he became unconscious and he needs to rest for 2 days.
Soon , his life came to normal and he started going to the school after 2 days.
" Guess , I won't see her again " Hiroshi was going to the school thinking about Aiko.
But guess what , Destiny has something stored for Hiroshi , Just as he was about to enter the school main gate , he exchanged paths with Aiko.
"Hey," Hiroshi called out tentatively, hoping to initiate a friendly conversation.
The girl glanced at him, her expression unreadable. "What do you want?" she replied bluntly, her tone devoid of warmth.
Taken aback by her abruptness, Hiroshi faltered for a moment before regaining his composure. "I just wanted to thank you again for helping me the other night," he said, trying to maintain a polite tone despite her dismissive attitude.
The girl shrugged indifferently. "It was nothing," Aiko replied curtly, already starting to walk past him.
As Aiko began to walk away, Hiroshi felt a pang of disappointment at her cold demeanor. However, a flicker of determination ignited within him. He couldn't let their interaction end on such a distant note.
"Wait," Hiroshi called out, his voice firm yet gentle.
Izumi Aiko paused, turning to look at him with a questioning expression.
"I know we got off on the wrong foot, but I'd really like to get to know you better," Hiroshi continued, sincerity shining in his eyes.
For a moment, Aiko seemed taken aback by his sincerity. Then, a hint of a smile tugged at the corners of her lips.
"Maybe next time," she replied cryptically before continuing on her way, leaving Hiroshi with a sense of hope and anticipation for what the future might hold.
