Chapter 13: conspiracy begins
The next few months are spent on training, the mission the system released. The conspiracy of Olympians began. Ares spread false rumours saying asgardians attacked the Olympian pantheons and showed the corpses of asgrdains in his room.
He stated they tried to assassinate him in his sleep. This is also the same situation with Apollo and Hermes. Artemis who is Apollo's sister didn't know thisbis a conspiracy clenched her fists in anger against Asgard.
Zeus asked Odin for an explanation while Odin said he has nothing to do with this matter and some other forces are trying to sow discord. The meeting between zeus and Odin ended with ares and Hermes provoking asgard.
Tensions are high while ashborn looked at ares with a knowing look making the god of war uncomfortable along with Hermes. To answer their efforts ashborn used the same tactics. He captured few Olympian soldiers outside the galaxy and modified their memories to attack Asgard.
Except one soldier everyone else are killed and Odin demanded for an explanation this time. Like in the last meeting now it's zeus who is at a loss for words. While ashborn is staring at Ares and Hermes continuosly.
The two of them gritted their teeth while another surprise appeared," for Poseidon"," for hades", two soldiers jumped into the meeting hall and detonated their souls making an explosion enough to hurt the gods.
But it can't do anything to Zeus or Odin. Odin then looked at zeus and asked," looks like we have the answer who wanted to try to sow discord", zeus gritted his teeth while Ares and Hermes are dumbfounded.
Meanwhile Poseidon in his palace smashed his table violently and roared," bastard, I did not such things like this", he grabbed his trident and flew to the palace of Zeus to explain this.
Meanwhile Hades also arrived and stated he isn't behind these attacks. Looking at his two brothers not knowing who is the lier zeus can only give up. He Apologized to asgard and said he'll bring the culprit to justice.
Ares and Hermes looked at this and gulped while Artemis entered and said,"no father, this must be the conspiracy from these pirates. Disgusting schemes and these still have the honour to call themselves gods. Don't you have some divinity. Ambushing the gods while they have peace talks. If you're a man step into the battlefield and prove your worth".
Hearing her words Thor has tick mark on his head but Odin stopped him from going berserk. He looked at zeus and asked," is war the answer you're going to give me zeus?", zeus looked at his daughter and said," Artemis if you don't to marry a Titan in tartarus then shut your mouth this instant".
Artemis looked displeased and said," but father I said the truth. If these pariates aren't the first to attack us then how did our soldiers retaliate and tried to avenge our honour with their lives. Disgusting cowards who only know how to fight in the dark and don't have guts to step foot into the battlefield".
Ashborn frowned, what is Artemis doing? She is trying induce a war. Is this realted to Apollo who raged a flame of war inside her. Looking back at ares and Hermes who are concealing their relief, he frowned.
Odin has enough, he roared," enough, little brat. Who do you think you're? Just a mere planatery level god wanted to provoke Asgard and wanted war? Zeus can I take this as your declaration of war againsty pantheon?".
Zeus looked at Artemis coldly and said," if you don't want to be imprisoned in tartarus get out of this room this moment. I don't even care what you do? But if you want to welcome a war with other pantheon I'm not going to sit still Artemis".
Artemis triedto retort," but father-", zeus also lost patience. He knows if left alone she will really provoke Asgard. So he roared," enough, Ares take Artemis away", zeus looked at her in a rage while Artemis shut up. She glared at the asgrdians and followed ares back.
Odin and zeus again pondered what clues they have and tried to use traces of the power left on them to track the culprit but failed. They wanted to diviniate the culprit but it also failed too. Frowned they became on guard. It seems the culprit took measures befoee implementing the conspiracy.
Even ashborn is relieved, the conspirator must have anticipated teh divination of the two god king's. So they used something to block it. It even blocked Ashborn too. Though even if they get can only see Apollo as ashborn shapeshifted into Apollo before taking those guards away.
