Chapter 2: 3 years later
The three years were both short and long.
For me however it was too short.
How can 21 months be so long?
I never thought that just 21 months would feel longer than 6 years of trainee life.
I used to help out at my grandmother's store and get a part time job as soon as I became an adult.
It was because I didn't want to be burden to my grandmother, so at that moment I thought a part time job would be best.
I also thought about my career path at that time.
Since becoming an idol, which had been my dream since childhood, was not come true, I wandered for a while and finally revised my future hopes.
The composer.
Perhaps it was something I inherited from my parents, who were instrumentalists, but I had a musical talent of my own, and I chose to become a composer to make use of it.

Although I was smiling on the outside, I was sweating coldly inside the padding.

I soon realized two shocking facts.

I thought it was there just a cardboard box inside of cart car, but it turned out that it was full of junk like radios and discarded home appliances.
The second thing was that the muscles in the grandfather's arms as he pushed the wheelchair were alive and breathing.

I felt embarrassed that I had acted so foolishly on someone who could easily do it on his own.

The old man burst into laughter.

I was out of breath so I couldn't say anything.

A proud smile appeared on the old man's face.
"I sent my son to college with this... Oh my, have you lost all your strength already? How can a young person be like this? Didn't you said you work out everyday and go to gym?"
Old man said with mocking tone, A tick mark appears on my forehead as I gritted my teeth and puch cart car with all my might.
When the car finally reached the top of the hill, I held my knees.
Wow, this is crazy.
Steam came out from inside the padding, and beads of sweat ran down his sideburns.
One lesson I learned today.
Never undrsmit a cart car again.
"Thank you, young man. It didn't help, but you have a very kind heart. You looks nice too."
The old man said with kind smile on his face, however, i didn't have strength to reply him as I was taking a deep breath.
After a moment of silence the old man opend his mouth again
"Where are you going now, young man?"
"I'm going to take a test at the school in front of me." When I could finally breath properly, I said as I pointed the school not far from here.
"Oh, CSAT?"
"yes."
"Oh my, the test taker worked hard to help this old man."
I felt warmth as the old held my hand tightly.
"You did a good job, so I hope that you passed the exam."
"thank you."
It doesn't seem like I helped much, but it was rewarding.
I exchanged warm words with the elderly man, bowed my head in greeting, and walked towards my destination.
It was soon the entrance to the testing center.
However, as I was walking while massaging my sore shoulders, I had no choice but to turn my gaze to the strange sound again.
Buaaang!
It was a car speeding in the distance whithout any hint of slowing down.
...And it's destination was the old man that I was with until now.
