Chapter 64: Dream Realm

In the Amegakure shack, Nagato had just returned after completing his mission. He and Satoru were sitting cross-legged, enjoying the rare moment of tranquility.

Since the misunderstanding had been resolved, Nagato seemed to have developed a habit.

Every time he finished a mission, he would return to the Amegakure shack where they had once lived together, and subconsciously walk towards Satoru's residence.

Their relationship was progressing, and they casually talked about trivial matters amidst the aroma of tea.

Satoru was the first to break the silence and ask, "Everything alright during this period?"

Nagato nodded slightly. "Overall, not bad. The Akatsuki organization has performed well in various assigned tasks and provided significant commissions to Amegakure. However, I also noticed some problems."

"Some people in the organization are no longer able to meet the demands of missions."

Satoru frowned slightly upon hearing this. He understood the seriousness of the issue mentioned by Nagato and said, "I've also noticed this problem. The scope of tasks undertaken by the Akatsuki organization is too broad, which may result in a shortage of members and burnout."

Nagato sighed softly and continued, "I've discussed this issue with Yahiko, and he's actively seeking solutions. As far as I know, he has started to establish a ninja school, hoping to provide education for expelled ninjas and offer them a chance to learn again."

A hint of appreciation appeared in Satoru's eyes. "That's a good idea. A ninja school can not only teach children the process of becoming genin but also provide a place for ninjas who are not strong enough to improve themselves. Moreover, compared to ninjas from other major countries, Amegakure ninjas indeed lack formal training."

Nagato nodded, determination shining in his eyes. "Yes, we must confront this issue honestly. Only through sustainable progress can Amegakure and the Akatsuki organization gain a foothold in the highly competitive ninja world."

As they talked, the rain gradually increased.

"By the way, I noticed you haven't been appearing in the village much lately." Nagato's eyes passed through the heavy rain and fell on the ravine outside the yard, which was a trace left by powerful ninjutsu.

"Have you been learning new ninjutsu?"

Satoru smiled thinly. "I've been very busy lately. I brought back some valuable ninjutsu information from Konoha and studied it deeply."

"Oh? How's the progress?" Nagato asked curiously, knowing that Satoru's strength was unexpected, and he always managed to achieve extraordinary feats in ninjutsu.

"Well, I've mastered most of it." Satoru replied lightly, all of this was expected of him.

Upon hearing this, Nagato could only sigh, "As expected of you."

He had the most intuitive understanding of Satoru's strength.

Recalling his confrontation with him, he then realized that Satoru had made great efforts for Amegakure, but he knew nothing about it. Nagato couldn't help but feel very ashamed.

But now, seeing Satoru's new breakthrough in ninjutsu, Nagato was filled with respect.

"Oh, I've been having strange dreams lately that have been mentally unsettling. Otherwise, I should have seen your new ninjutsu with my own eyes." He sighed.

"Dreams?" Satoru asked curiously, "What kind of dreams are they?"

Nagato shook his head and furrowed his brow, "I'm not sure. I can't remember the content of the dream every time I wake up. But this dream has been haunting me for the past year, making me tired."

"The words I said to you earlier may also have been caused by my poor mental condition." He added apologetically.

Satoru removed his eye cover, his eyes shining sharp, and he stared directly into Nagato's eyes, "Perhaps, this dream is not simple."

Since he learned that Nagato's Rinnegan originated from the Rikudo Sennin, and there might be great secrets hidden in this world and even on the moon, Satoru became very interested in the Rinnegan.

Listening to Nagato's words just now, he was very aware that Nagato's dream might be related to that.

"Unusual?" Nagato felt a little uncomfortable in his heart.

He thought it over, and it seemed that his character became gloomy after experiencing that dream, which made him start to doubt the truth behind his dream.

"Because this dream is bothering you so much, maybe I can try to connect to the Rinnegan to find out." Satoru's calm voice brought a sense of calmness to Nagato's restless heart.

Nagato was stunned for a moment, with a slight surprise in his eyes, "Connect to the Rinnegan?"

Satoru nodded, and said confidently, "Dreams are products of mental brain activity. The Rinnegan, as the eyes of the Sage of Six Paths, may reflect the secrets that exist within your soul. Trust me, it's not too difficult."

Nagato took a deep breath and nodded, "Okay, I'll leave it to you."

Satoru sat cross-legged, Rikugan staring at the Rinnegan up close and began to gather his own spiritual power.

Gradually, the Rikugan emitted a dim light, and his whole body seemed to enter a mysterious state.

Nagato also closed his eyes, and under Satoru's gaze, the Rinnegan emitted a mysterious power.

At this moment, they both felt an strange power connecting them tightly.

Satoru was familiar with the use of spiritual power.

He had successfully entered the Kyuubi's seal space before and penetrated his soul into it.

Now, he used this technique again, letting his soul penetrate the Rinnegan, trying to explore the mystery of the dream that was disturbing Nagato.

"Is this it?"

When Satoru's soul fully integrated into the Rinnegan, he was immediately enveloped in deep darkness.

In this emptiness, his soul gradually condensed into an entity, and his consciousness gradually became clear.

Satoru narrowed his eyes slightly, intending to turn around and explore this unknown realm.

At this moment, a powerful wave of power suddenly attacked from behind.

Satoru quickly turned around and saw a pair of lavender Rinnegan quietly emerging in the darkness.

As he stared at these Rinnegan, a strong shock surged far within his heart.

"Here... Are there actually a pair of Rinnegan?"

While Satoru was shocked inwardly, a deep voice also came from in front of him.

"Who are you?"
