Chapter 93: Return to the Water Door
Obito concentrated and saw a white figure passing by quickly.
"Huh, insects."
On the other side, Konan was leading Minato and Kushina to evacuate the battlefield immediately, searching for a safe place.
Although her heart was full of worry, she remained calm as she watched Kyuubi wreak havoc on the ground.
She knew she couldn't panic, and to protect her friends, she couldn't retreat.
"Konan..."
Minato looked around and saw that he was surrounded by a sea of white paper.
After fleeing to the dense forest not far from there, Konan led the two of them to stop.

"Don't forget, you are the Hokage!"
Konan's final reminder pierced deep into Minato's heart.
Minato looked at the unconscious Kushina. His resolve slowly grew.
He stood up, walked to Kushina's side, and gently lifted her.
"You're right." Minato took a deep breath, his tone firm, "I did falter just now. But now, no matter who it is, as long as they dare to harm Kushina, I will never show mercy!"
"Because I carry the name of the Hokage!"
As Konan saw this, she felt relieved.
Minato looked at Konan with a smile, "Konan, thank you so much."
As he spoke, he handed a kunai to her. "Kyuubi is now under control. This place is not too far from Konoha, although I don't know their true intentions, please give this kunai to the Third Hokage and ask him to arrange for the village residents to evacuate immediately. Minato hugged Kushina tightly, activated the Hiraishin no Jutsu, and they both disappeared from their place.
Next moment, they appeared in a dimly lit cabin.
The lamp in the room flickered, and a simple small bed was placed in the middle.
Kushina's consciousness gradually returned, she slowly opened her eyes, seeing Minato's face, and whispered softly: "Minato..."
Minato bowed his head and smiled, his eyes full of tenderness.
He carefully placed Kushina on the bed.
Next to the baby's bed, a small figure was lying peacefully and asleep, it was their son – Naruto.
After Minato dealt with the exploding charms, he specially placed Naruto here, intending to leave immediately to search for Kushina. But his plan was disrupted by the Second Hokage blocking his path.
Therefore, he missed the opportunity to rush to Kushina's side as soon as possible, and ultimately was one step too late.
However, despite facing such difficulties, Minato was not discouraged.
He walked towards his wife and son and gently comforted them, "Kushina, leave everything to me."
Kushina nodded slightly. Then, she turned and looked at the small bed next to her, where Naruto was sleeping soundly.
Seeing her sleeping son's face, tears fell from the corner of her eyes.
She knew clearly that the Kyuubi had been pulled out of her body.
For a jinchuriki, once they lost their Bijuu, there was only one path waiting for them – death.
This cruel reality made Kushina feel extremely desperate, as it also meant she couldn't accompany her son as he grew up and couldn't fulfill her responsibilities as a mother!
But Kushina tried hard to control her emotions and prevent the tears from flowing.

She believed that Minato would do his best to protect her and Naruto now!
"I will be back soon." Minato turned around. Next moment, he disappeared.
"Naruto..." Kushina softly whispered her son's name. Her hand touched Naruto's small face.
