As Draco entered the gate, he was immediately hit with the filthy smell of the village, the constant screaming, moaning, and shouting of the goblins and whatever poor race was used as their breeding target, the view of filth thrown all over the ground, the small huts, and the goblins moving all around some alone some with groups, some with their partner, and some with what he assumed were slaves dragged with leashes connected with a slave collar.
He cringed in disgust as he thought: 'Are these who I'm supposed to take as my subordinates?'

"At least comfort me!' he complained in his heart.
He looked at them once more trying to find something good about them, but all he found were goblins lost in their desires and lust.
'I wonder how these guys were even able to survive for this long... Ah, yeah... That old monster.' he smacked his head.
'Okay! Infiltration complete... What do I do now?' Draco suddenly froze as he realized he had no plans from this point onward.
'Tch! So much for self-proclaimed cautious.' He admonished himself.
'Should I act as a weak goblin and start living normally until I've devoured enough or evolved to be able to take on that monster? No, this approach is by far unproductive, If I risk it a bit and play some tricks to kill him I could gain much more stats than I could by killing thousands of lesser creatures... But... I'm too scared, I don't want to die! I still didn't get to enjoy my isekai life!' He planned and cried in fear.
'We both have command over these... Lesser Beings, so if I show my might directly we can form two factions this way I can earn me some slave boys early which can significantly improve my leveling speed, in addition, they can bring me monster corpses which I can [Devour] and then slowly, hehehehe!' He laughed creepily with a grin on his face, A goblin was walking next to him, he looked at him and shivered in fright when he saw the grin.
'But... This isn't fast enough... I don't know much about this world or other ways to gain strength even the meditation technique or whatever is way too slow for me... I need more information, When I find time I will start asking the System questions. For now, let's continue thinking.'
'What If I poison him? I got the herbalism skill, with the right herbs I can do that! Isn't that the easiest solution? Hahahaha! I'm a Genius!' He thought in happiness as he moved to carry his plans.

Meanwhile, Near The Center Of The Village...
Contrary to the area near the gate a little beyond it, the area near the Village Head's large wooden... house? Whatever it was it didn't not have the same noises, scenery and smells around it, it was as if a Human who cared very much about hygiene was there.
Now was there a human in this village? No, but, there was a very old, very cunning, very scheming monster living amongst these weak creatures we call goblins.
He was the Village Head, a Goblin Shaman, Around here they call him the Research Fanatic.
Do you think it is easy to become a leader of the goblins and especially be able to comfortably make a village in this forest? What we saw from the few hours we were here were barely the lower-barrel of the Monstrosities living here, and yet, there was this one goblin, a goblin unlike no other, with just his Fire Magic he burned his way through any difficulties there were to finally achieve his current status, yet what was truly the reason for his rise... We shall see soon.
"Skree!! Village Head! Village Head!" Two goblins entered the Village Head's house in a hurry as one of them shouted.
"Hmm... Didn't I tell you to not enter my house without permission?" A weak and rough voice was heard all around the house, the goblins who heard it finally realized what they did and started shivering in fear.
"Skree!! W-we're Sorry! There is, There is this guy! he's called gobutarou, He was supposed to be dead with his other two teammates when he suddenly came back!" One of the goblins said in fear trying to appease the Village Head's anger.
The Old Village Head who was meditating rose up from his lotus position, fixed his black robe and dusted it off, cracked his hanched back, took his wooden staff an old companion of his and and came out to meet the two goblins.
"I hope you didn't disturb me and come into my house with your smell for this puny reason." The Shaman spoke slowly as his anger was apparent, the way he looked at the goblins was as if he looked at a pile of dung, Full of disgust.
"Skree! N-no! Village Head! You told us to tell you if any anomaly happened in the village, and this guy, this guy! he gives us the same feeling you give! I think, I think he's an evolved being." The other goblin said.
"An evolved being? Hmm... Interesting, what's an evolved being coming here to do?" The Village Head thought in interest.
"Let me go and take a look. As for you two." His eyes had a sudden evil glint on them.
*Fshh*
He conjured a small fire on his hand as he looked at the two goblins who were on the floor by now looking lost as they knew they had no way of going out alive, especially with the Village Head's aura keeping them paralyzed.
"This is punishment for coming in without permission, and as smelly vermins at that."
*Fywshh*
"Scree! V-Village He- SCARGHHH!" The goblins screamed in agony as they didn't even have a chance to plea.
He threw the fire at them and they burned in a matter of seconds leaving only ashes behind.
"Phew! Much better." He said before he threw the ashes out of the house with his mana and followed it.
"Gobutarou, Oh, Gobutarou. I hope you entertain these old bones of mine." He said in slight glee and with a large evil grin on his face.
