Chapter 35: I Don't Keep Dead Weight Around

Dylan thought for a moment. Yes, he did need someone to guard the gate.

He couldn't expect Alberta, Dorothy, and Jodie to take on that responsibility.

With such a large villa area, if someone sneaked in unnoticed, he wouldn't be able to guard against it all the time.

Nodding, Dylan said, "Alright then, you two can stay as temporary gatekeepers. Find your own clothes and bedding in the villas, but I won't be responsible for your food and drink."

With that, Dylan tossed them a walkie-talkie and a lighter. "Find your own firewood for warmth, and if there's any trouble, call me on the walkie-talkie!"

Jodie couldn't help but sigh as she heard Dylan's strict treatment of the two female survivors. Compared to her treatment, it was like night and day.

"Oh, one more thing. When the rest of us go down the mountain to find supplies, one of you can accompany us to look for food and improve your skills.

Your stay here is temporary. If you don't make any progress, I won't keep you around!"

The two women nodded quickly.

The conditions were a bit harsh, but being able to stay was good enough for them.

Immediately, they went to find bedding, warm clothes, toiletries, and some firewood from the villas and settled in the guard room on the second floor.

They even divided the shifts into time slots to ensure that there was always someone on duty.

Satisfied, Dylan led Alberta and the others back to his villa.

Once back at the villa, everyone took a hot bath.

Coal flew onto Dylan's shoulder again, urgently asking for crystal nuclei to eat.

Taking out two crystal nuclei to feed Coal, Dylan then took out the hot pot ingredients and had Dorothy prepare a meal to drive away the cold.

With the help of Alberta and Jodie, all the hot pot ingredients were prepared in less than an hour.

At this moment, in the warm dining room, the hot pot was bubbling with steam, and the air was filled with the aroma of spicy broth. The scent alone whetted one's appetite.

Seeing this heartwarming scene before them, Alberta, Dorothy, and Jodie fell into contemplation.

They thought of the two female survivors responsible for guarding the gate.

Those two women were probably now suffering from hunger and cold in the cold guardhouse.

And here they were?

They had no worries about clothing or food, and they had electricity and water. Every meal was a feast.

All of this was because they had earned Dylan's approval and been treated as family members.

While lamenting the unfairness of fate, they also felt gratitude towards Dylan from the depths of their hearts."What are you all staring at? Hurry up and eat!" Dylan urged when he saw the three of them bowing their heads in silence.

The three of them snapped out of their trance and quickly cast grateful looks towards Dylan.

Feeling puzzled by the looks from the three, Dylan paused for a moment, then slapped his forehead suddenly.

"Look at me, I almost forgot! How could we have hot pot without beer? You're asking me for beer, right? Haha!"

With a clang, Dylan pulled out a box of YCT beer from his space and placed it on the ground. He opened a bottle for each person and raised his own bottle, saying, "Come on, let's conquer the world together! Cheers!"

With that, he spun his bottle and chugged it directly.

Although the three women hadn't intended for Dylan to misunderstand them, they were all infected by Dylan's enthusiasm. They each lifted their bottles and gulped down the beer.

"Gulp! Gulp! Gulp!"

Dylan watched as the three women's fair necks moved as they swallowed, finding it quite sexy. Women who could chug a bottle were really charming.

Dorothy was the first to finish her drink and showed Dylan the empty bottle.

Alberta and Jodie, being younger, drank more slowly.

Because they were too eager, beer occasionally overflowed from their mouths, running down their necks and into their collars.

Dylan couldn't help but want to wipe their mouths with his hands. It was such a waste!

Finally finishing the whole bottle, both women's collars were wet.

Dylan quickly handed them tissues. "

If you can't handle it, don't drink. Look, you're all wet. Hurry up and wipe it off!"

Alberta and Jodie blushed, feeling embarrassed.

"Alright, let's eat now. The lamb is cooked!"

"Huh? Why are there two kidneys in this pot?"

...

After the meal, Dorothy led Alberta and Jodie in cleaning up the dining room.

Meanwhile, Dylan lounged on the sofa in the living room, leisurely absorbing the over 70 crystals he had obtained today.

The hot pot dinner had been quite exciting. Dylan had drunk a whole box of beer by himself, while the three women had shared another box.

Dylan noticed that his alcohol tolerance was increasing, probably due to his improved physique.

If his time energy reached 10,000 years or even 100,000 years, he could probably down a whole cart of beer in one sitting!

At this rate, the stock in his space would definitely not be enough for him to drink."Supplies, supplies, they're really important!" Dylan called the three of them over after they finished their chores.

"Come, let's talk," Dylan said, sitting up to make it seem more formal.

"The entire villa area has been cleared. From now on, this will be our home.

You three have all undergone varying degrees of training, and with your current abilities, you're all absolute elites wherever you go.

However, we must remain vigilant because despite our current strength, we're still far from our peak.

So, starting tomorrow, we'll head down the mountain to clear out more zombies, acquire more crystals, and continuously improve our strength.

Additionally, we'll gather supplies

In truth, Dylan's space had enough supplies for them to eat for hundreds of years without any issue. But Dylan wouldn't tell them that. He understood the principle of keeping wealth concealed.

Of course, Alberta and the others obeyed unconditionally. Dylan's words were like royal decrees to them now.

Dylan was their guiding light, the leader of their shared destiny. Regardless of anything else, they would follow Dylan.

Seeing the three becoming more obedient before him, Dylan felt pleased.

However, he maintained a serious expression and solemnly warned them, "But I still have something to tell you.

There's always someone stronger out there. We may not be murderers, but when the situation demands it, we must act decisively!

We'd rather make a mistake and kill a thousand than leave behind a potential threat!"

Dylan's gaze was sharp as he scanned each of the women's eyes, speaking firmly, "Understood?"

Hearing his tone, the three women immediately straightened up, puffing out their chests, and responded in unison, "Understood!"

"Good. Now, get some rest. We'll set off early tomorrow morning."

Dylan, Alberta, and Jodie went up to the third floor together.

Jodie wanted Alberta to sleep with her again.

Dylan became irritated. "If you try to pull my girlfriend to sleep with you again, I'll sleep with you both, believe it or not?"
