Chapter 1: Know Where To Look At
He looked at one of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Sitting beside his bed on a cheap plastic chair Master Jet was stretching her arms. He didn't missed the shoulder insignia on her left shoulder.
Well about the beautiful part , she is the most beautiful living woman he had seen , AI has progressed a lot and it can pump out a lot of good illustrations.
Sunny immediately pulled himself back from his thoughts. Master Jet is already staring back at him.
Without any humor she asked, " What are you looking at ?"
Taking a deep breath Sunny said, " You. You have 3 stars on your shoulder. You ar-are an ascended."
Sunny finished all of it in a single breathe before the pain of his flaw can even begin. He surely avoided a big boulder.
Master Jet stood up and approached the reinforced metal bed. With practiced moves she began to undo the straps holding Sunny in place.
" I am Ascended Jet. You can call me Master Jet. These past three days, I was on watch duty due to your Nightmare."
Things are moving a little fast right ?? Lets start from the beginning shall we.
On a side note, he avoided getting slapped.

Before dying and transferring to the world of Shadow Slave, he was fairly normal, maybe slightly detached from others socially.
Life was slightly messed up but you know its normal. Then he died. Instead of staying dead he somehow got transferred to the world of Shadow Slave.
HE took control of Sunny's body right before he was transported to conquer the 1st NM. Armed with future knowledge of Shadow Slave he successfully conquered the 1st NM.
It was hard. It was painful and exhausting but he conquered it. And now he is taking a hot shower.
However Alex still couldn't understand how he became Sunny. And there is this runic message which he got during his appraisal but it disappeared.

He only managed to see it for a split second and after fully reading it , it just vanished. He definitely thinks that its real. Alex has already checked his runes and its not there. He tried writing something about Shadow Slave in a piece of paper but even before he touched the pen he experienced unbearable pain. After throwing away the pen , his pain diminished. Speaking of his runes all of it are same as it went in the novel.

All of it are exactly the same except his shadow fragment count. If he recalled correctly he, for Sunny it was 12 rather than 14. He has intentionally tried to kill more Mountain King's larva.
Every piece of fragment will help him.
Sunny now looked at his shadow which was moving in the shower.
He focused on his shadow, a completely new perception, a brand new sense. Then it opened to him, a new pair of eyes. He blinked. In his mind now existed two pictures. One from his perspective and the other from his shadow's perspective.
Sunny commanded his shadow to move from its usual position. Without any delay it separated itself from his feet and moved to a corner in the shadow.
Now he can see himself from his shadow's perspective.
' Nice. No need to buy a mirror.'
Then Sunny commanded his shadow to wrap itself around his body. Suddenly Sunny felt powerful, powerful enough to break that shower mirror into pieces without getting a bruise.
Yes, he didn't like mirrors, not when someone like Mordret existed in this universe. Sure he is now imprisoned by Valor but still the thought that someone can lurk in the reflections is definitely creepy.
' Alright lets end this shower, Master Jet is waiting.'
He definitely didn't like the gruel given to him. But he is a ..... was a college student, he had been through worse. After wolfing down the cheap synthetic food in front of him while paying no attention to its taste, Sunny looked at Master Jet.
' Gods , how can it be so bad to eat.'
Master Jet went to to give him instructing and advices as per as the protocol. It went almost as same in the novel and he replied in the same fashion.
Finally she asked him the most important question.
" So what do you say ? Do you want me to take you to the academy."
" Yeah lets go to the academy."
Well he cannot say no now, can he?
