Chapter 5: Friends, Reality
-Adam's POV-
After I woke up, I washed myself and rush to eat my brunch because school will start soon and I, as a student, cannot be late as I want to keep my attendance record perfect.
"Mama, Papa, I'm going to school alone, no need to accompany me!"
"Haii, be careful on the road!"
I greeted Mama and Papa who were still on the second floor as I opened the door leaving the Cordett House starting my run to the kindergarten. Usually Mama would accompany me to school, but as I woke up too late, and they were so excited about Mama's pregnancy that they forgot to wake me up, I had to go to the school alone.
I ran through the neighborhood passing my friend's house.
'It looks like he's gone to school.'
I mused as I keep running until I reach the school
Standing in front of the school's gate. I greet the teacher who is waiting for the students from the gate before continuing towards the main lobby to change into indoor shoes.
'It's so quiet, I guess the others had gone to the classroom.'
After changing my shoes, I walk to the class where there are a lot of small peo.. I mean a lot of kids.
"Good morning, Adam!"
"Good morning, Hiki-kun"
"Ohaio, Adam!"
"Ohaio, Najimi-san"
"Hello, Adam!"
"Ah hello, Nakai-san!"
"…"
I quickly rush to the back of the room as I'm getting overwhelmed by the enthusiastic kids who are eager for attention.
I sat down and patted my cheeks to cool my head down. Not that I need to as I exaggerate a bit to make me look more expressive.
"Good morning, Izumi, Raku, Yori, Cosette, Shouko."
I smiled and greeted my friends as I relaxed on my seat.
"Good morning, Adam-kun.", Miyamura Izumi said.
"Ohaio, Adam!", Ichijou Raku said.
"O-Ohh, Good morning, Adam.", Asanagi Yori said.
"Hello, Adam!", said Cossete Schneider.
"…"
Baduum… Baduum.. Badumm…
Nodding at them, then glancing at Komi Shouko who had a trembling body and intense background sound effect with its own intimidating aura.
'Is this the legendary King's Engine from One Punch Man series? No, It's the Komi's Engine!'
Narrowing my eyes at Komi who is intimidating the others, I slowly got up from my seat and walked towards her.
The closer I got, The more intense the illusionary sound effect.
Badumm!!! Baduum!! Badum!!
and I pat her head.
Yes, It is anticlimating.
But it works though, since she calmed down and enjoyed the pat while illusionary cat ears emerge from the top of her head.
'As expected, innocent kids are easier to please.'
"Are you okay, Shouko-san? Didn't I tell you that you can try to write what you want to express?"
Opps, She froze. I guess she always forgot to write. It's okay though as she's still a kid and still needs to improve her writing skill.
With crooked handwriting, she quickly wrote what she wanted to express.
"Good morning, Adam. I'm sorry I always forgot to write."
"It's okay, Shouko. It's only been 1 week since we implemented this writing thing."
I smiled gently at her as she smiled happily.
Komi Shouko. She is the main character of the anime series "Komi Can't Communicate". Unlike when she was a highschool student beauty, right now she's a little innocent loli with bob cut black straight hair. As the title of the anime literally explained, Komi Shouko cannot communicate with others because of her communication disorder.
Unlike in the anime, the real Komi Shouko next to me hasn't got a severe social anxiety caused by her classmates' avoidance from childhood who misunderstood her. To avoid her from social anxiety, I introduce her to my other friend and teach her to express her feelings through writing in her notebook.
Although her communication disorder hasn't gotten any better, At least she can try to communicate through paper and get a few friends she can try to play with.
"Why are you late, Adam-kun?."
"Well, I woke up too late."
"Ohh."
As expected of a child, they cannot think too complexly. I think he wants to say something but can't wording it out from the way he keeps his mouth open from time to time towards me.
The one who asked me is Miyamura Izumi. The main character of "Hori-san to Miyamura-kun" anime series.
Right now he's not the handsome guy with piercings I knew from the anime, but he's a quiet little boy with short black hair and black eyes. I met him during My and Mama's culinary journey which ends up at Miyamura's Bakery.
There we met Miyamura Iori who held Miyamura Izumi's hand who wanted to study the art of baking from his mother which of course ended in failure. He cried like a kid, which he is, while holding a small tray with an unrecognizable smoking black thing on it.
I laughed out loud at him which made him glare at me with his snotty nose.
After that Mama scolded me and asked me to apologize which I did, and I became friends with him after I invited him to play on a nearby playground to sooth his mood.
After that incident, Occasionally I visit Miyamura's Bakery to buy some cakes from her mother and play a little while with him.
By a coincidence, when I was near the age of 5 and decided to start kindergarten, I and Miyamura met again in the same class.
"Y-yo ,Adam, did you sleep late because of your birthday party?." Raku said, trying to act cool while blushing.
"Yeah, but can you stop with the blush? I'm not interested in man." I said while hurriedly taking a step back and looking at him warily, afraid that he turned out to be ga..
"I'm not blushing!" Raku said angrily, making his face more red.
"Yeah, yeah, look at your face, It's as red as a tomato. Right, Izumi?"
"Y-yeah." Miyamura startled after I called out to him, then started nodding frantically.
"Hahaha, see, even Izumi agrees with me." I laugh at Raku's face.
"Miyamura-kun, y-you betrayed me. Someday I will get my revenge!" As expected Ichijou Raku, dramatic as ever.
He is Ichijou Raku, the main protagonist in "Nisekoi". As a son of the Yakuza, he was isolated by his classmates as they were afraid of his family and guards that sent him here.
While he was isolated, I and Miyamura tried to befriend him because we felt sorry for him. Raku is one of my friends who can keep up with more complex conversations due to his background, which required him to start studying at an early age.
Since I started befriending him, I've always pranked him because while excels in academics, he's not smart enough when it comes to countering my pranks and jokes.
"Adam, can you sing a song like you did last time?"
My conversation with Raku was interrupted by a girl, Asanagi Yori, with short black hair like Izumi's but a little longer. Though the more I look at her, the more she looks like a cat.
'I think Yori and Shouko will get along well.'
Asanagi Yori, one of the main characters in "Whispering Me A Love Song" Anime.
Though the anime "Whispering Me A Love Song" is a Music based series. It tells a somewhat complex love story between characters.
Asanagi Yori is portrayed in the manga as a character who had never experienced love until after her concert, when she was confessed to by her underclassman... or so she thought. However, when she was confessed to by her underclassman, she experienced love at first sight.
"C-can I join you two, Adam, Asanagi-san?" Cossette asked me and Yori.
"Sure, we can go to the other room to play but later ok?" I said. While it is okay to sing in the class while the teacher hasn't come, It will attract the other kids' attention.
"U-umu,thank you, Adam" Cosette said shyly and began to rub her hands with her skirt to show how shy she is. I guess it takes a lot of effort to ask me to play a song.
"Sure. thanks, Adam." Yori said coolly.
"You are welcome, Cosette, Yori" I smiled gently as Yori and Cosette began to talk to each other about what kind of music I would sing with them.
Cosette Schneider, with shoulder yellow hair and blue eyes, is the main character from "Takt Op. Destiny".
"Takt Op. Destiny" is an anime with a supernatural world background with Music as the theme.
Who would have thought that Cosette Schneider who was supposed to be an energetic girl in the anime would be so shy when she was little.
'Not me.'
Just like in the anime, Cosette Schneider and Asanagi Yori also love music. I first met Cosette and Yori when they approached me while I was humming a song. They found it beautiful, so sometimes I would hum songs with them when they asked.
In the anime, Cosette Schneider was supposed to be in America, not Japan. I wonder why she is here?
No.. I mean why are a lot of anime characters gathered in Kyoto?
'Is it a coincidence?' I asked myself.

'Would you explain what were the changes brought into this world?'

First, [Reality Weaver] manipulates the reality to manifest characters from animes that Master used to watch with the purpose to make Master make more friends easier as Master subconsciously thinks that the characters that Master used to watch are more trustworthy as Master already knew their character.
Second, [Reality Weaver] Create some 'interesting coincidence' that Master will encounter down the road.>>
'It seems I will meet more characters in the future.'

"Bye!" I said while waving to my friends.
"Goodbye, Adam!"
Parting at the Gate of the school with Mama.
"How was your day, Adam?" Mama asked me while holding my hand.
"It's fun I guess. Izumi is as quiet as always, Raku is silly, Yori and Cosette asked me to sing, while Shouko.. She tried to speak through writing." I replied gently to Mama but the latter is still staring at me.
"W-what's wrong, Mama?" I asked nervously at her.
"Are you sure you're okay? I know you are too smart for your grade right now and too mature for your peers, but try to endure it for 2 more years okay?" Mama comforted me while stroking my head.
"It's okay Mama, I got.. friends in school. It won't be boring." I said, smiling gently at Mama.
"Hmm, I hope so." Mama seems unconfident.
Mama must have figured out that It's boring for me to be in school as my mature character is not in line with my friends. She knew that while I am childish in front of my family, I always act more mature towards my peers.
Right now, rather than friends, I see them as my little kids that need to be taken care of by their big brother.
And that big brother is me.
'I hope as we grow up, I can see them as equal.'
I kept my silence as we walked to my house.

Intrinsic Skill [Reality Weaver] will remind the host before changes are made if the soon to be altered reality intervenes with the host's future planning or judges that the soon to be altered reality may be detrimental for the host and companions.>>

With these two skills, I am basically invincible as long as I get enough magicules to run them.
[Perfect Being] capable of making me in a perfect state no matter how I grow and evolve and it keeps perfecting me in case of imperfection.
[Reality Weaver] can be used to manipulate reality to my advantage, especially in case of emergency and battle, it will be a great skill to use.
Then, I began to think about what I can do about my power. With Origin Skill [Information King Akashic Records], and Raphael assist, I basically can recreate Omnipotent, and Omniscient but the first step is to locate Veldanava remains and his residual magicules. I believe his magicules contain information about Veldanava himself.

"..Sigh.. Continue." After a moment of hesitation, I insisted on searching for Veldanava remains. Although a little sad as I grew attached with Raphael, I knew I must find the remains for evolution to make myself stronger. The stronger I am, the safer my surroundings will be, and the easier it will be for me to go to another world and have fun."
