Chapter 21: A Friendly Outing
The ethereal glow of the moon reflected on Konohagakure below, painting the streets with an amazing hue. To Rem, this was the perfect time to go on a Night out with his friends.
Rem walked on the dimly lit streets and made sure to avoid alleys, Konohagakure was always beautiful whether it be day or night and Rem admittedly had to say that he was falling in love with the Village. He arrived in front of Sakura's house and knocked on the door.
"Mom, I'll see you later!" Rem could hear Sakura exclaim from inside the house and then the door opened, revealing the beautiful pink haired academy student with vibrant blue eyes.
"Good evening Rem," Sakura greeted and Rem gave her a small nod.
"Good evening Sakura, You've got a nice outfit on," Rem commented as Sakura prepared to close the door, her cheeks heated up with a blush.
"Make sure to have a good time Sakura," Sakura's mom exclaimed from the inside.
"I will!"

Naruko's house wasn't too far away from Rem's house and the Academy, by jumping at his full speed with the weights on, Rem was able to get there in about 3 minutes but tonight he was walking with Sakura so he didn't have the leverage to use his full speed, it's not like he wanted to rush right to Naruko's place- he still wanted to take time to get to know Sakura better and a conversation was one of the only ways to do that.
"So… what did you want to do at Ichiraku?" Sakura asked.
"It's been quite a while since I've been there, It's the best ramen eatery so I want to be there," Rem replied, "Naruko apparently had the same idea and we decided to go together, but I didn't think you eat Ramen too… I mean you always eat rice in Lunch,"
"Yeah," Sakura nodded, "But that doesn't mean I don't eat ramen, I really want a taste of Ichiraku ramen though, I heard it's really sweet from some girls in class,"
"Sure, that's why you're coming along with us- and if it gets really late, I'll make sure to drop you at home quickly before your mom starts to protest," Rem said.
"Alright," Sakura said and they continued conversing, as they continued talking, Sakura saw that Rem was easy to talk with and he had a lot of things to talk about.
Not before long, they arrived at the Uzumaki household and Rem knocked on the door.
"Hey Rem!" Naruko exclaimed while coming out only to lock eyes with Sakura, the air stilled as sparks flew from their eyes clashing with each other mid-air, "Why'd you bring the washboard along?"
"I'm not a washboard, at least my tits aren't so big and fat that they look like I'm pregnant," Sakura shot back.
Rem folded his hands and sighed, Girls and their rivalry… it was a bit cute to him.
"Come on, let's get there quickly before we don't get any seats," Rem said, "I'm feeling really delightful today and I want some ramen!"
Naruko turned to Rem and scoffed.
"Our first date and you carry the Washboard along, Dense idiot," Naruko puffed out.
In this regard, there was no difference between Naruko and her mother…
'All she needs is that wondrous red hair,' Rem thought but quickly shoved his thoughts aside.
"You were the one that told me that this was a 'Friendly outing', At friendly outings, you can carry more than one friend," Rem said, "Next time if you wanna go on a date, tell it with me so I won't invite other people,"
Naruko puffed her cheeks and turned them to the side.
"Hmph, Don't tell me what to do," Naruko said.
Rem shrugged and started heading toward the gate.
"Come on Sakura, let's go," Rem said and Sakura quickly followed, Naruko sighed and followed them as they began their trip to Ichiraku Ramen.
"Your dress is really nice, Naruko. Compliments your features nicely," Rem complimented Naruko and she blushed.
"Perv!"

Rem was confused, they were seated at Ichiraku Ramen waiting for Ayame and her sister, Megumi to cook up the Miso Ramen they were all tasting.
Rem sat in front of the legendary Ramen guy, Teuchi Ichiraku and his eyes… widened.

Rem might have not seen so many question marks before in a status but that meant one thing, Teuchi was vastly stronger than he had expected.
"Done~"
Ayame's voice was melodic and snapped Rem out of his thoughts, his eyes met that of his lover and she puffed her cheeks indignantly. She was really jealous that he was going out with other girls but Rem knew he had to teach her that she wasn't the only one that he had…
If she refused to come back, he wouldn't chase her but he would force her to come back. There were many girls in the world and he could have any one he pleased, just because he spent some time with her… She had decided that she held utmost importance to him.
"Thank you," Rem said as Ayame dropped his plate down and handed him chop sticks. Quickly he started devouring the ramen at an alarming speed, he was completely prepared to spend his monthly allowance if it meant tasting this beautiful ramen every day but he knew not to get too addicted to it or he might just be spending his allowance eating Ramen.
"This ramen is actually good," Sakura commented as she couldn't stop eating, the taste was amazing- no sublime… no it was divine.
"That's what I was telling you washboard, it's a really amazing ramen and this isn't even the best flavor… If you taste their Beef Ramen or Chicken ramen, you will know what I'm talking about," Naruko said and took her bowl into the air, letting the juices and noodles flow into her mouth.
That night, they went through 6 different flavors before Rem got full. He really had an amazing time but the thing he feared the most was the paycheck.
Naruko and Sakura stood outside as Rem counted his Ryo, he wanted to make sure he was able to pay for all the meals they had tonight… and it cost about 1, 000 Ryo.
"Don't worry about the payment," Teuchi said much to Rem's surprise.
"Oh don't worry about me Mister Teuchi, I can pay that amount," Rem said and pulled out many notes of Ryo, amounting to a thousand ryo.
"It's really refreshing having kids over here so you can take this night free," Teuchi said.
Rem although he wanted to accept, he just couldn't listen to the whims of an Old man like Teuchi and besides he didn't know what those question marks in his status were but he could tell that they were skills that even the Blue screen couldn't analyze, or perhaps he wasn't strong enough to see them yet.
"I won't come and eat her again Mr. Teuchi," Rem threatened and the old man gave in, collecting the notes of Ryo from Rem.
"Thank you and I'll see you soon," Rem said as he left. He gave Ayame a little glance which she nodded at and he finally stepped out of Ichiraku Ramen.
As Rem stepped out, he felt some sort of weight lift off his shoulders… Teuchi's presence felt a little bit different than the presence of other Ninja and Rem was aware of that,
"Well I'll escort you girls home since that's the gentlemanly thing to do," Rem said earning blushes from both girls.
"I had a great time," Sakura said, "Thank you,"
"I guess I could tell you thanks, since you paid for the dinner and all," Naruko said, "Plus you made it an amazing time too,"

Rem had dropped the girls at home and now was heading to his own house, it was midnight but Rem had no intent of going to school tomorrow- He had to keep what he said to Uruka down to the very end.
But tomorrow he was going to the Uchiha household to see Mikoto Uchiha and learn a whole lot more about the Sharingan, it should have more uses than just being able to see better right?
