Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Stormterror Attacks
Aether flew above the dragon's head as it closed its mouth, dodging being made into a meal by the dragon. Aether spinned as his katanas were engulfed in flames. He slashed the dragon's head, unsurprisingly, the dragon was not affected at all.
The dragon spun to face Aether, it roared at him causing him to be sent flying into the air. Noticing the dragon retract its claws in preparation on hitting him. Aether made the flames on his foot disappear to make himself fall, successfully dodging the dragon's slash.
While in mid-air, Aether lighted his foot on fire, which madr him be able to fly again.
(Knights of Favonius headquarters)
"What the hell is going on!?" The acting grandmaster of the knights shouted as she kicked the doors open. Exiting the headquarters before looking at the dragon who kept on slashing and roaring at the sky.
"This is bad! Stormterror is attacking Mondstadt itself!" Amber shouted in a panick as she followed behind Jean. Kaeya, Lisa, Satomi, and Eula followed behind her.
Eula put her hand in Amber's shoulder in an attempt to calm her down. "Calm down, Amber. We will have our vengeance on that dragon!" Eula said in determination. "R-right!"
"Here comes her "vengeance" shit." Satomi said as she crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
"Do you have a problem with my vengeance, Gojo?" Eula asked while she glared at her rival.
"And what if I have? What are you going to do about it, Lawrence?" Satomi asked as she walk closer towards the Lawrence who glared at her.
"Then I will simply have my vengeance upon you." Eula replied, the tension between the two grew. The normal knights slowly backed away, afraid at what the two rivals would do.
"Could the two of you please stop arguing like children!" Jean shouted in anger, surprising everyone.
"Oh my~. She's mad now." Lisa teased.
"This is a surprise." Kaeya said.
"Uh-huh." Amber agreed.
Eula and Satomi clicked their tounges as they look away from each other.
"*Sigh* Please stop arguing like children when a dragon is currently destroying Mondsta-" Jean was interrupted when they heard a giant explosion and an irritated roar of Stormterror.
"What the hell was that!?" One of the guards shouted in worry.
"Wait, take a look, someone's fighting Stormterror." Kaeya pointed out, the others look closedly before they see a blonde man fighting the dragon.
"Wait, i-is that... Aether!?" Amber shouted in surprise, narrowing her eyes to get a better look if it was really Aether who was fighting Stormterror. I-it is him!
Aether? That guy is fighting that dragon all by himself!? Satomi thought. And the way he uses those fire around his body, there is no doubt about it... H-he's really the same as I am!
"Oh~. The way he uses his pyro element is identical to how Satomi uses her anemo element." Lisa pointed out. Now that everyone thought about it, they realize that the guy fighting was engulfing his body in flames.
(AN: I don't really understand how visions work in this game so let's just say that vision holders can't use their elements directly on their own body)
The guards murmured among themselves at how insane and suicidal the guy would be to be confident enough to face a dragon. Yet they can't help but to admire the guy's strength and bravery while the others.... not so much.
(With Aether)
"Open wide!" Aether shouted as two fireballs that came from the tip of his katanas flew towards the dragon's open mouth.
BOOOOOMM!!!
"RAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Roaring in pain and anger, it appeared besides Aether in a flash, before whipping him on the stomach with its tail.
"GAAAH!!" Aether was sent flying towards the headquarters, luckily, he was able to light his foot on fire again, preventing him from being seriously damaged.
Landing on the ground, Aether clutched his stomach in pain as some blood started falling from his mouth.
"Aether!" Amber shouted as she ran towards him. "Are you ok?!" Amber shouted in a panick as she started to check on Aether's body.
"Yeah... I'm fine." Aether said as he stood up with the help of his two katanas. Luckily, I was able to create a fire barrier infront of my stomach to reduced the damage. Aether thought before he started looking at his stomach. But it still hurts!!
"Aether! You ok?!" Paimon shouted as she flew directly into Aether's arms, tears were threatening to come out of her eyes.
"Calm down, Paimon. I'm perfectly fine, okay?" Aether tried to calm her down, before he heard some footsteps going towards.
"You are pretty reckless, you know that?" Satomi said as she started walking towards the blonde with her arms cross.
"Uhh... Thanks?" Aether said.
"That was not a compliment, dumbass." Satomi sighed as she flicked the blonde's forehead.
"Ow!"
"Oh~. Little Satomi is worried about someone? Interesting~." Lisa said as she giggled a little.
"You have the power to go againts the dragon. Interesting." Kaeya said as he walked closer towards him.
"Who are you?" Jean asked as she started walking towards him, Eula and some guards followed behind her.
"I would be glad to answer that.... But there is a rampaging dragon infront of us." Aether reminded them about the dragon that was going ape shit. "And it would also be nice if anyone helps me."
"Well, we would help you if we know how to fly, cutie." Lisa replied. "Well, Satomi certainly knows how to fly." She added.
"Would you mind?" Aether looked at Satomi who sighed. "Well I have nothing else to do." Satomi shrugged as teal gauntlets with an Anemo symbol in the middle appeared on both her arms.
"Let's go!" Aether and Satomi shouted at the same time, before they flew towards the rampaging dragon on the sky.
Taking a deep breath, Jean spoke. "Everyone, help the civilians and try save them!"
"Yes!/ Understood!/ Affirmative!" The knights quickly saluted before they quickly dispersed and started looking for injured and lost civilians.
"Sooo... what are WE going to do to help?" Kaeya asked, raising his brow.
"We'll wait for Stormterror to land on the ground, that way, we can help them scare him off." Jean said.
(With Satomi and Aether)
Aether engulfed his katanas in fire, the dragon tried to slash him but Satomi opened her palms and sent a wind slash towards Stormterror's eyes, causing the dragon to flinch and close his eyes.
Aether flew over Stormterror's head, before narrowing his eyes at the purple rune. I'll have to try and break it!
Aether tried to slash the rune on the dragon's head, however, his eyes widen when the dragon instantly disappeared. "Shit!" Following his instinct, he flew down just in time to dodge a slash from the dragon.
That was close! Aether thought as he backed away from the dragon.
"Not good. None of our attacks seems to be damaging his scales." Satomi informed as she flew besides Aether.
"If that's the case. We'll just have to attack until it breaks!" Aether shouted as he flew towards Stormterror again.
This dumbass! Satomi followed the blonde as she too charged towards the dragon.
Engulfing his left katana on fire, he slashed the katana several times in the air creating several sharp flame razors. The fire razors flew towards the dragon, hitting the dragon's scales multiple times.
SWIIISH!
SWOOOSH!
WOOOOSH!
Stormterror tried to slash them, but thanks to their smaller body compared to the dragon, they were able to dodge the attacks.
"RRROOOOOOAAAAARRR!!!" Stormterror roared at the two, causing then to be sent flying back. It opened its mouth, where a teal colored orbed, a ball of wind started to form continuing to grow each second.
"If that's how you want to play!" Aether opened his mouth, where flames started to gather. "We'll gladly comply!" Satomi opened her mouth, where a ball of wind also started to form in her mouth.
"RRRAAAAHHHH!!" The three shouted at the same time.
A huge torrent of flames spewed out of Aether's mouth that headed towards the dragon with blinding speed. The ball of wind transformed into a horizontal vortex of wind, the same thing happened to Satomi's attack.
BOOOOOOM!!
The collision between the attacks caused a giant explosion which pushed Aether and Satomi away while Stormterror covered his body with his wings.
Landing on the ground, the two looked at the huge smoke that enveloped the dragon. Sweats started to pour on their faces as they prayed that the dragon was atleast hurt.
Swooosh
Stormterror opened his wings, causing the smoke to dispersed and disappear. It roared loudly as more tornadoes started to form on Mondstadt.
"Great, that shit did not affect him at all." Satomi muttered as she glared at the dragon. "It's a fucking dragon afterall." Aether nervously chuckled.
Stormterror glared at the two of them, before roaring again. The dragon landed on the ground, making the whole city shook and causing some cracks to be made where it landed.
Stormterror glared at the two puny humans who dared to attack him, its gaze filled with fury.
"Hey, Satomi."
"Yeah?"
"Aim for that purple rune on its head, it seems to be a mind control spell... or... something." Aether informed.
"Great, and you just say that now?" Satomi remarked.
"Did not have time to say anything."
Stomp!
Stomp!
Stomp!
The dragon charged at them, Aether lighted his katana on fire while Satomi enveloped her body with the wind. Before they too charged at it.
