Only seven minutes had passed in the timer that was given to the Players when the timer disappeared.

Except for fourteen players, no other player had killed anyone in the first stage, but it wasn't because they didn't want to.
Most of them wanted the contribution, but before they could kill anyone, bodies started exploding.
They could only think about protecting themselves and before they knew it, the stage was already over.

Many Players were angered at Lee Taehyung who had almost killed them.
Some had barely survived but were still hurt badly.
They looked all around to find the person named as the highest contributor. They even taunted him to step forward.
The man was dangerous and they knew it. They had survived in the first stage, but what about the next stage? They couldn't let someone this dangerous live.
"Isn't it a bad idea to annoy the person who killed so many people? He seems strong."
"Strong? Heh, if he was strong, he would have killed the stronger players. But didn't you see? He only used a corpse explosion!"
"It must be a rare class like Necromancer. But as long as there are no corpses, he can't do anything to us!"
"That's right. All the corpses have exploded. Even if he is a Necromancer, he can't raise the undeads."
"Agreed! If he could raise the undead, why would he waste the corpses by making them explode. It's clear that bastard can only use such tricks."
Standing in the distance, Kim Seojin rubbed his forehead. These people were being too foolish.
They didn't know that the person wasn't a Necromancer. He didn't use Corpse Explosion either.
These people were thinking that Lee Taehyung was a Necromancer so he was weak. But only he knew that this guy was more dangerous than everyone realized.
Just his stats alone were in a different league.
More than worrying about the Regressor, Kim Seojin worried about himself.
He hadn't done anything at this stage. He only had two more stages left and if he couldn't do anything, he was going to be erased.
For now, becoming the top contributor looked like a distant dream.
"I would need to change myself. With this weak mentality, I will be the first to die."
He was still looking at this world with the glasses of earth from 2075. He was still stuck in the era of rules and morality. But in this future, that was the biggest weakness of a person.
"It is my life, or theirs. To survive, I will have to kill. But can I?"
He looked at the rusted sword in his hand.
He had the hidden piece from the Tutorial which increased his attacking stat. Even then, it all felt so surreal.
"You must be the one!"
Kim Seojin was trying to convince himself when he heard someone's voice targeting him.
He raised his head, using Insight on the person who was standing before him.
It was a Young Warrior and the same person who had mocked him for sleeping at the start.
"Everyone here has fought, but only you were standing in the back!"
"For a Necromancer, it makes sense that you didn't want to get close!"
"You're mistaken. I am not Lee Taehyung."
"Enough lies! Because of you, my friends died! You sneaky rat!"
The man didn't listen to his explanation. Or rather, he didn't want to listen. He was more interested in killing him, thinking that he could get more contribution points.
"I know that you can get the contribution points of the person you kill. But I truly have zero points. I'm not the one you're looking for!"
Kim Seojin moved back, barely avoiding the man's sword.
The man didn't let him go and chased after him with the sharp edge of his Sword.
"Give those excuses to Hades!"
The sword sliced through the air, aiming straight for Kim Seojin's neck.
With swift movement, Kim Seojin again managed to dodge the attack.
He finally understood why the Squirrel was telling him to increase his Agility. If he was even a little slower, his head might have been missing.
"I told you, I'm not the one!"
After dodging again, Kim Seojin had enough. Even his shoulder had been grazed and bleeding.
He knew that if he kept avoiding the attacks, there was going to come a time when he couldn't dodge on time.
This time, instead of avoiding the attack, he swung the rusted sword back.
His Sword clashed with the Warrior's Sword, shocking him.

Kim Seojin didn't stop. He used the Guidance Skill.
A trail appeared before him, creating a sword path for him. He even felt as if he could see the man's movements that he hadn't even made.
His eyes were looking into the future of the man... A future that hadn't come to pass.
Although he was only looking into the future by a second, that was enough for him.
He followed the sword path, lowering his head.
His Sword clashed with the man's sword again, but this time, instead of blocking the sword, it only slightly changed the direction of his sword.
Kim. Seojin took advantage of the minute deflection. His sword moved gracefully like a trained warrior, aiming for the weakness of the man.
The man looked in disbelief, a sword stabbing his chest.
He was a warrior, who was the best in close combat. But he had lost in close combat, against a man who had never held a sword before.
Kim Seojin pulled out his sword. The man groaned in pain as the sword was pulled out sharply.
His eyes were filled with disbelief even as his chest bled. He dropped to his knees, his strength leaving his body.
Kim Seojin also couldn't believe it. He had taken the life of a person. The blood on his rusted sword was proof of it.
His hands slightly trembled as the realization set in.
