Chapter 3: CHAPTER TWO.

ROGURE.

"There is a demon inside my father" she trembled as she spoke, "I see…" he patted her hand reassuringly, her face was heavy and utterly frightened, it was the most secluded corner of a desolate restaurant and yet she twitched in a manner of one being watched, one being marked, the man regarded her pitifully "Litsen to me Jema…you have to tell me EVERYTHING…it's the only way I can try to help you", her eyes analysed his features, as if in a bid to determine his trust worthiness, from his cedar brown hair gelled back neatly, to his intelligent eyes, pupils, a similar tint as his hair, pointed nose and thin lips, he was dressed most peculiarly in his green kimono-like attire, and although he appeared quite plain, something about his eyes potrayed a capacity, a capacity to deal with her problem, she sighed heavily "I think it all started a year ago…" she paused, "My father once used to be a low level beast hunter, an underdog for the Rogure queen…" he flinched at the mention of the queen "He knew the Rogure queen?" he asked, "He was one of the most under…he never met the queen or those even ten ranks below her…" Jema smiled at memories "It was a dangerous but happy life for me.." she paused " It all crumbled one day, the day I was so sure my father had died, before my very eyes he was gutted out, the guild of beast hunters barely rescued me…" , he sat up properly to litsen to the next course in the narrative "However two months later he showed up..good as new, and I knew from that moment, that something was terribly wrong…" tears dropped "My father suddenly entered politics and after gaining influence he went against the queen of Rogure herself…and well…here we are", he was deep in thinking "Lewi…look if this is too much then you can just tell me…don't raise my hopes up for nothing" Jema intoned sadly, Lewi chuckled, it was a confident one, "Jema…what do you want me to do?" he asked simply "Please lay my father's body to rest…don't allow it to be misused" she pleaded as more tears gushed out "That's okay…and in exchange?", Jema sighed, as she retrieved a small pouch from her dress, she poured out the contents on the table it was a couple of beast cards "Its all I got" she mumbled, he gazed at her intently, "This will do" he intoned getting up.
