Chapter 2: Dream Catcher

We peer a bit into the future and see a group of silhouettes discussing their concerns over what appears to be a crystal ball. "Is it possible that allowing this child to live was an omen?" Says the one with a worried tone. "No it will bring nothing but conflict" scoffs the winged darkened figure. "If he is anything like his father, then one shall wish mercy on his enemies." We snap back to the present to view the child flowing down the river towards a drop-off, closer and closer we hear fast rushing water and now what appears to be a waterfall that leads to a drop. Here we can see why the soldier responded that this child might not survive this river. Unbeknownst that this leads to a place called, the cavern of dreams, a dungeon in which nothing ever escapes or as one might say, a true nightmare...the child is whisked over the side and thrown down deep into the bottomless blackness that makes up the dungeons mouth. He falls but as we peer closer we can see that no sign of fear is present on the devilish mask bestowed upon the young child, and if you look closer the mask has made a grin whilst the child is crying.

The child is saved by a gigantic mysterious figure with horns a top his head, The child looks up and wonders who this could be, but the child then ceases his crying as if he knows he is in good care. The mysterious figure picks up the child and gives him a name, as he thinks he is just another wondering monster that was abandoned in this dungeon. "I name you, Kaze!...May the gods shudder at your name, and kings and queens bow to you, your dreams are unbound and unwavering, you will be a being not to be trifled with" He shouts as to which he then sees the destruction and thus his eyes slowly begin to burn thus blinding his sight.

"Well that is unfortunate, little on my name is Hala the Dreamcatcher. Hala recedes into the cavern deep into the darkness as we hear a faint closing of a door. A magical torch seems to have sprung to life showing us the inside of the cavern as we can see its covered in bones and scattered pieces of rusted and new armor components as well as weapons. "From this day on little one, I will raise you." Hala states as Kaze chuckles as he wets himself and proceeds to cry.
