Chapter 8: Run Emma! While you still can!

"Urgh, how much longer do we to walk Emma?" Right now, we were walking in the backyard of the mansion well more like a forest. We past the garden in the backyard since a while ago and are now in a forest.

"A little bit more young master, we are almost there."

"We've been walking for 25 minutes! Why is the gymnasium so far from the mansion!"

She didn't say anything and only glared at me. Then she pushed me behind the gates door that had opened not long ago and closed them.

Then I started to walk since like she said I was late. I was certainly not going to run I am way too tired for that. I guess it is still too much even with the gains in stats that I had. After a minute or so, I reached the massive building that Emma was talking about.

They call this a gymnasium? This is a damn stadium! It's even bigger than the ones from earth!

As I looked in awe at the 'gymnasium' I lowered my gaze to what seemed to be the entrance to the gymnasium. There, laid a women with black hair just like mine waiting for me in front of the entrance. She was emanating a deep dark aura from her body that extended for about 5 meters and looked at me with glaring eyes.

That was the moment I realised, "I'm cooked" I said.

She gestured with her index finger to come.

Accepting my fate, I started to walk in her direction. the nearer I got the less aura she was emanating. But, she was still glaring at me.

"Stop there." she said.

I immediately did as I was told.

Now standing in front of her, I closed my eyes and waited for my fate to come.

"Rustle" I heard a rustle, I was still afraid to look so I didn't. Then I felt smooth hands touch my legs and started to go higher and higher like she was a doctor doing a check up on a patient.

"What did she do to my little boy. That filthy bi- Ahem I meant Young maid. She said still looking aggravated.

'That's when I knew. It wasn't me that was cooked it was Emma! I now know why she didn't come all the way here! Run Emma! Before she catch you!'

"Sniff! Sniff!" Urgh, you still reek of that filthy woman go wash yourself. Come I'll show you where the showers are.

"Here." She handed me a towel and went out of the room. She made it seem so, but I could still see her from the little hole she made from not closing the door completely.

"Fiine~" She said closing the door shut. "Hmph!" Can't even watch him wash himself, but she can do whatever she wants with him.

Now I can finally wash all that dirt that I accumulated in the past day from me.

It felt good to wash myself. I haven't gotten a good scrub since a long time. I don't think I could wash myself a lot when I was in that old broken down house, because it didn't seem to have a shower or bath to begin with.

Opening the door to the room, Behind it was my mother waiting.

We walked a little and ended up in the middle of the gymnasium. We were on the grass but the extremity of the gymnasium looked to be in cement and made a circular path for running around the gymnasium.

'It's too long I want to become stronger now!' I thought and started to focus even more on my breathing until I couldn't hear my surroundings. I couldn't hear anything and everything was dark. The only things I could see were little stars of different colors. "Stars." I said murmuring to myself.

"That's it, those are particles of mana now try to take them trough your arms and make it go trough your head and then make it go down to your lower body to finally follow the path along your lower body that will lead you to your hearth. There, you will store your mana until you have enough for a breakthrough."

She looked like she was explaining something to me, but In my trance like state, I couldn't hear what she was saying only mumbles came to my ears. Not like I needed what she was explaining, because after her mumblings stopped a window appeared in front of me. Even though I had my eyes closed, for some reason I could still see it.
