Chapter 2: Sylv Celestia

A beautiful woman with silver eyes and azure hair lay on the bed, groaning in the pain of her labor. Her attendants stood around her, striving to ensure a successful and safe delivery for the mother, as any complications could subject their family to endless torment. There was no doubt that the woman giving birth was strong and extremely powerful, but carrying a baby in her womb for 24 months had taken a toll on her body and vitality. And deep down, she also knew that the baby inside her was somewhat special; it was just her intuition, but she trusted her intuition, knowing it to always be correct. Despite the constant pain and screaming, her ethereal beauty remained evident.

Sylv Celestia, the eldest daughter of the patriarch of the Borne family, ranked 2nd in the Celestia continent. However, the gap between them and the Celestia's was like heaven and earth—no comparison. She was 25 years old when she first met Alex at an auction. Mesmerized by his personality and facial features, she began pestering him. But Alex, being cold and aloof by nature, considered her only a passerby in his life. For twenty constant years, Alex ignored Sylv, while she did nothing but pester him. It wasn't that Alex was clueless about Sylv's feelings, but indulging in such matters was a waste of time to him.

However, destiny has its own ways. One day, Sylv found him heavily injured on the periphery of the forest and tended to his injuries and needs until he could walk again. Upon waking up, he recounted his fight with the golden ape, who was two realms above him, and how he sacrificed his left arm to escape from that predicament. On that day, Sylv learned about his true identity. Unlike others who were afraid upon knowing the real him, she treated him with more care and love. From that moment, Alex slowly began to open up his heart to her, and now, it had been ten years since they married. They had a daughter, Raven Celestia, and now their son was about to be born.

Sylv's beauty was often lauded, but Alex possessed a commanding presence that was equally deserving of admiration. Standing tall at 6.5 feet, he boasted extraordinary facial features complemented by a well-proportioned physique. His complexion resembled mild cream, casting a radiant glow upon his fair skin. Short strands of silver hair framed his face, perfectly accentuating his deep blue eyes, which exuded an enigmatic allure.

Invariably, Alex was clad in black robes and trousers, adorned with intricate golden embroidery that bestowed upon him an air of majesty. This regal attire only served to enhance his already formidable presence, casting him in the light of a true king

The screaming was becoming loud and loud with each passing second and the heart beat of Alex was also gradually increasing with it. Finally, after 2 hours of constant screaming the room inside was silent.

'Swoosh'

"What happened, Sylv. Are you okay?" Alex appeared inside the room shouting.

"No worries my lord, miss and your son is okay" said head maid smiling constantly on the birth of their heir.

"My son?" asked Alex without hiding the excitement is his eyes.

After surveying the room, Alex's gaze settled upon his newborn son, peacefully nestled beside Sylv. The infant possessed a crown of silver, ethereal locks, skin fairer even than Sylv's, and eyes as icy blue as a winter's dawn. They shone with an innocence untouched by the world's complexities—a promise of uncharted virtues and vices, yet to be defined.

Upon learning that Sylv had succumbed to exhaustion and would awaken when her strength returned, Alex cradled his son tenderly in his arms. With a heart full of paternal warmth, he endeavored to amuse the infant with a repertoire of comical expressions. His efforts elicited quiet amusement from the assembled guards, elders, and maids, who marveled at this rare glimpse of vulnerability in their esteemed patriarch. In that moment, amidst the giggles that resonated in their minds, a bond of familial affection enveloped them all, uniting them in shared joy and wonder at the miracle of new life.

"Congragulations, patriarch and matriarch" bowed all the people present in the room.

Alex nodded in acknowledgment towards them and because Sylv was unconscious he also did it on her behalf.

"Alexa" slowly opening her eyes first word she spoke was her husband's name.

"Sylv, I'm here don't worry, are you ok? And look our son, handsome like me" shouted Alex with confidence and arrogance. Though for Sylv it was his way to open up his emotions.

"I'm fine dear. And what did you say handsome like you? Sorry gentleman, he is more handsome than you. You are 1% of him in handsomeness" chuckled Sylv taking her boy from Alex hands to her. It was total silence when Sylv was admiring her son.

"Dear, he didn't cry after his birth?" asked Sylv looking at Alex and the head maid responsible for delivery. Then finally it dawned on all present there that it indeed was the case.

"No, Sylv he didn't" Alex stepped forward and tried sensing any complications through his son's wrist. After 20 seconds he finally opened his eyes with a frown, those twenty seconds felt like an eternity to head maid and all the other maids responsible for the delivery.

"Sylv, it appears there are complications with our son's soul. It hasn't yet stabilized within his body, likely due to its formidable strength overpowering his physical form. This lack of equilibrium may require some time to resolve—perhaps 10 to 15 years, or even less. Rushing the process could prove detrimental; the assimilation of a soul is not a task to be hurried. Rest assured, I will do everything in my power to facilitate this journey," Alex reassured in his characteristically measured tone, ensuring his words reached all those present in the room. Sylv found solace in his unwavering confidence, her trust in his judgment unwavering as she closed her eyes in acceptance.

"Now Sylv, though it will take some time for our child to behave like other normal children then now we should decide on his name" spoke Alex with a hint of reverence in his eyes. He decided to give this chance to Sylv to name their child but the real reason he himself didn't name him was that he was very bad at naming.

"Hehe" giggled Sylv seeing him behaving like this.

"Soren Celestia, is the name I have decided to give our child. Actually, I had already decided on this name some time ago" announced Sylv to all the present in the room. There was no sadness in her eyes, only confidence and arrogance as she believed that in no way their child will be ordinary. As Alex reveled in Sylv's announcement, he held his wife and newborn son close, enveloped in the warmth of the moment. However, unbeknownst to them, two shadowy figures lurked in the corner of the room, silently observing every detail of the scene unfolding before them. Despite their clandestine presence, their eyes and ears absorbed every word spoken and every emotion shared, their intentions veiled in secrecy as they watched on, their presence unnoticed by the blissful family.

"Soren, so it's finally time"

"Hmm. We should also start our preparations now. And have you placed all the pieces accordingly" asked the shadow with long hairs.

"Don't worry, it's done," came the cryptic reply from the other figure before vanishing from sight. None of the individuals present in the room were privy to this exchange, including Alex and the previous patriarchs themselves. Unbeknownst to them all, the birth of the heir had triggered a clandestine response from the previous patriarchs who had secluded themselves in a secret realm. Sending forth their souls to stand guard against any potential mishaps, they worked in silence to ensure the safety and prosperity of the newborn heir and the lineage he represented.
