Chapter 11: 09. Talking With Everyone in Another World
I am currently still embracing Grayfia, who is still crying in my arms while being stared at by everyone here.
Even Grisella and Ophis are also staring at the two of us.
But I don't really pay attention to them right now... I am still focused on comforting Grayfia who is still crying by stroking her hair.
I'm not gonna lie, but Grayfia's body feels really different from the others I usually hug.
Hugging Grayfia is just so comfortable, especially with her soft chest pressed against my chest...
And her smooth hair is the same as well... so nice to touch, i don't know if it's because of her race as devil that make her body is just so perfect or it's something else.
"So... can you explain what happened?" Suddenly I hear Sirzechs speaking.
I then turn to Sirzechs and the others and I can see them looking at me with puzzled expressions.
Well, what can I say, the strongest maid devil is currently crying and hugging someone who calls himself Lucifer, so it's natural for them to be confused right now.
After that, I inform them about what happened to the two of us from the beginning to the end because this is not a secret I have to keep.
They seem to listen to my explanation seriously, especially when I talk about my world.
"Ahhh!!! So you're the reason why Grayfia-chan suddenly became stronger when she fought with me back then!?" Serafall shouts at me.
Fighting with Grayfia? Why does Grayfia have to fight with her? Aren't they friends?
Grayfia rarely talks about her past when she was in the Sky Realm. All she did was enjoy that world with me and train to strengthen herself.
"That's right... I remember that incident well," Sirzechs looks like he is thinking about the event mentioned by Serafall.
Hmm, I am curious about what they are talking about... maybe I'll just ask them.
After that, they explain what they were talking about, and all I can think about now is: damn devil society is a mess...
"I apologize for my previous behavior, Lord Rei."
A few moments later, Grayfia stopped crying and finally separated from our embrace.
She could see that the clothes I was wearing appeared wet from her tears when her face was pressed against my chest.
Seeing that made her embarrassed because she displayed embarrassing behavior even though we had just reunited after hundreds of years.
I couldn't believe it, in the Sky Realm it had only been a few years since we met, but here it had been hundreds of years... the time difference is truly far.
"It's okay, Grayfia. Besides, I didn't expect that for you, you had been separated from me for hundreds of years."
"Um... Sir- Lord Lucifer, what do you plan to do now?" I heard a girl's voice from beside Serafall.
I could see that the speaker was a young woman with a slim figure, black hair styled in a short bob cut, and violet eyes.
Hmm... I just noticed her chest looked quite normal even though she was a devil, so far all the devils I had seen always had very large chests.
"I came here because I was curious about the power similar to Ophis that I felt before," I replied to the girl.
But I also turned to Grayfia, who was still in front of me, staring at my face with her teary eyes.
I then began holding both of her hands while smiling, "But I'm happy I decided to come here. I'm finally can meet with her again."
Upon hearing that, Grayfia started smiling slightly while squeezing my hands that were holding hers.
But suddenly, Ophis released my grip with Grayfia and she began holding both of my hands with her small hands.
"Um... Ophis?" I was confused by her behavior.
"Fufufu~ it seems Ophis is sulking because you haven't paid any attention to her at all since earlier," I heard Grisella speak, and she finally approached me and stood beside me.
Sulking? Hmm... after that, I released one of my hands from Ophis' grip and took a snack from the dimensional storage.
I then gave the snack to Ophis, and without hesitation, Ophis immediately ate the snack with her hand that was not holding mine.
...but she still didn't release my hand from her grip.
"Did you use your ability to perform dimensional travel to store your belongings?" I heard Azazel speak.
"Hmm? Yes, I used it for that. Besides, it's more efficient and I don't need to carry many things," I nodded.
"So Grayfia, do you want to come with me or do you want to stay here?"
Grayfia seemed to be thinking after listening to my words.
"Eh!? Where do you want to take Grayfia-chan??" Serafall looked panicked because her close friend suddenly wanted to leave with me.
"I'm sorry, Rei, but I have to go back temporarily to finish all of this. Once it's done, I will join you immediately," Grayfia seemed to want to go with me now, but as she is still a maid of the Gremory family, she has to prioritize them.
I nodded and replied, "Alright, when you're done with your business, use the necklace you're wearing to call me."
Grayfia then nodded in agreement with what I said.
"Since everything seems to be settled, can I ask you something?" I heard Sirzechs speak.
I turned to him, waiting for what he wanted to ask.
"Can you explain about the other world close to this one? You mentioned before that there is a world much stronger than anyone in this world. Will they come here someday?"
Ah, so that's what makes them curious. Hmm, but they don't need to worry about that world because it has already vanished.
Before I could say that to them, Grisella suddenly responded to Sirzechs instead, "You don't need to worry about it because that world cannot come here."
"So creatures from that world also cannot create a portal to come here?" This time Azazel asked.
Grisella upon hearing that just smiled and made an expression just like when she wanted to tease Rei.
"Of course not, because that world has vanished and no longer exists~."
They all looked confused by Grisella's words.
"What do you mean it no longer exists?" The girl with glasses asked Grisella.
"Fufufu~ that's because this person here has eradicated everything in that world" Grisella replied while holding onto one of my shoulders.
After Grisella said that, I could see that they all fell silent...
The silence lasted for a few moments until Sirzechs finally asked something.
"Vanished? you mean you already destroyed that world?"
"No~ No~ not destroyed but vanished. Everything in that world has disappeared without a trace, and now all that remains is a white light covering the entire universe in that world."
They returned to their puzzled expressions except for Sirzechs, who was thinking seriously upon hearing Grisella's words.
I finally sighed and decided to tell them what had happened.
After a while, I finished telling them about what had occurred before we came here.
And not gonna lie, seeing their reactions is really funny right now – their mouths wide open when they hear how I made everything in that universe vanish.
Seeing that my business is done here, I want to return home with Grisella and Ophis.
"As my business here is finished, we will be leaving soon" I informed them.
Upon hearing that, I could see Sirzechs stop thinking about something and speak to me directly.
"Wait, what about my offer to invite you to the Gremory house before?
And you can wait for Grayfia to finish her task there, and my younger sister also wants to meet you. You know, the red-haired girl who fainted in your arms."
Rias? Why does she want to find me? And also wait at the Gremory house?
Hmm... it's true that since I got trapped in this world, I have never left the dimension where Sturm and I live.
If Djeeta was here, she might pull me out of the house and start adventuring with her...
Speaking of Djeeta, it's weird how she's not here yet. Usually, she would forcefully tear apart dimensions to follow me to another dimension...
Hmm, maybe she's busy with something, but I won't complain if she doesn't come. Whenever she does, everything will become chaotic.
"So, are you willing to come to the Gremory house?" I heard Sirzechs' voice, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Hmm, alright, I accept your offer, but not right now because I have to go back to Sturm. If I want to come to your house, I will let Grayfia know by using the necklace she wears."
Hearing that, Sirzechs looked relieved. I don't know why he wants me to meet his sister, but I'm more curious about the Underworld.
In the anime, if I recall correctly, the Underworld is filled with only lands and no seas at all, just a few rivers. And the purple sky too makes me curious.
"Ummm... Lord Lucifer, what will you do with the devil behind you?" I heard Serafall speak.
I then turned around and saw the woman with glasses still kneeling silently without doing anything.
Huh... she really obeys my orders seriously.

Heya it's me only half of the length of usual chapter for today, because I'm still thinking about what to do with Cattleya
And other stuff like how much Rei gonna be involved in the plot, he really doesn't care about the politics or drama in dxd but he can't really not get involved too
Because you know this is fanfic so people reading it to see mc get involved with them all... So yea give me your feedback for it
Btw writing scene that have a lot of people in it is so pain because i need to make sure everyone get involved in conversation and sometimes i forget there is someone that doesn't speak yet....
