Chapter 2: A HOPE

'HOPE IS LIKE THE SUN'

SUN KINGDOM

Suryans Pov:19th eclipse before

Suryans are the people of the sun who dwell in harmony with the celestial sphere. They are children of the cosmos, born from first light that pierced through the darkness, their essence woven from the very fibres of sunlight.

The Suryans themselves are beings of ethereal grace their skin shimmers with golden sheen, a tapestry of light that reflects their vibrant souls. Their eyes hold the spark of solar flares, bright, piercing yet filled with wisdom of a thousand sunsets.

The Suryans, with their sun-kissed hair flowing like liquid gold, stand as guardians of daylight, keepers of the flame that never extinguishes. They teach us that every dawn is a new beginning, a fresh start that holds the mysteriea of the universe, waiting to be unraveled.

The sun city, Solara it's architecture is a marvel to be hold, crafted from the sunstone that glitters under the sun's benevolent gaze. Their streets are a glow with the soft luminescence of the sun and at night their city doesn't sleep.

There was going to the festival of the light, the most celebrated event marking the longest day of the year when the sun's power is at its peek but there was a surprise to it, the Prince's upcoming wedding announcement it was going to be the happiest day for everyone and the new to be married couple.

The festival of light though was triggered by a sudden eclipse that absolutely blinded the finest light to the universe revealing the darkest of the moon. It was a huge surprise for everyone both for the Suryans and the mooners.

The eclipse happened marking the worst for mooners who were almost made to disappear from their own habitant. When the eclipse happens the sun and moon merge together like a lost connection and a lot of things happen during that short time for the eclipse.

No one was ready for the new moon yet, it was not yet to take over, but with how the mooners were left hopeless the eclipse marked a new beginning for a new hope that was their lunars's assurance.

The Suryans, wondered what was happening before them, but they all saw it for themselves, the pain, the trauma, the pleas, the cries. When the eclipse happens, the both parties come to a connection the sun people meet the moon people connect with each other and they were able to see exactly what happened to them and the huge blow for them was the death of the king and queen it was a pain for the both.

"The prophecy was true!" Aurelius the leader of the sun council reminded and everyone gasped except for the mooners who were absolute confused, they didn't know this yet.

Aurelius is a wise and ancient mage who mastered the arts of solar magic capable of channeling pure sunlight to heal or to smite.

He'd already seen the future but not all of it, no one believed it would actually happen because it's been way too long for it to be true before even the coronation of the king and queen of the the sun.

"What's this prophecy all about?" One of the elder mooners who was known to be close to the queen asked out "I can't disclose it but whatever has happened had been decided decades ago but all I can let you in is, you have a curse amongst you, no one knows about it not even the ancient wisdom. But be assured we've been promised peace" is all he said.

The king of the sun, the wisest of them all, King Jeon stood across as he listens to the council he knew about this, he didn't know it would actually happen during his reign he hates to admit but his the one to sacrifice this time he knows it but one can get selfish can't they...

But after hearing his downfall of his best friend he was absolute torn apart, they have been fighting along together to keep peace of the boundaries of their kingdom and they have been victorious but if he was to sacrifice this now he wouldn't regret because he would have helped both the people of the moon and the sun.

"The eclipse is about to end we don't have time to discuss the past we already know about" he spoke "the final decision would be made at the 20th eclipse that should have happened later instead of this" he pointed to his surrounding, "we deeply are sorry for your loss but we will help you in any way we can I promised my friend we were in this together" that was a hope in the eyes of the people "take care until then I keep my word" and it was a promise until the eclipse faded away bringing back the light to the universe the difference is now that the mood for the party was over no one was happy for it the mood had been ruined.

The sun kingdom was back to light but the Suryans weren't, this is not how they planned for the biggest occasion "I feel bad for the prince" one of them pointed out "he was very excited for his wedding and now it looks like it won't happen" they felt bad as they whispered amongst each other. The king heard and saw but didn't say a word he knew the outcome, without a word he walked away followed behind by his two assistants while everyone fell into discussion and others were taking down the decorations because the party was over!

.

.

King Jeon was back to his chambers walking back and forth with a stressed frown on his handsome face. His beautiful wife, the queen felt bad for him she wished she could at least calm him down but she knew it wouldn't help this was a serious situation let's say his husband's biggest fear and hers too.

"Atleast take a seat" she tried and did as he looked at her "it's happening" he spoke "what's happening?" she asked abit confused "that prophecy we received before we even got married remember" she fell silent "but honey think about it, it will help everyone out, it's said the sun would be the savior of the moon remember" she spoke positively and her husband managed a small smile "you know that's not the problem I would wish to help everyone out and if I can I would do it but we are not in this alone together, it's our son we are talking about we never told him about this I wonder what he's reaction would be" there was a pregnant silence between them.

Miss Jeon pulled her husband closer to him giving him a reassurance hug which he reciprocated and relaxed in each other's embrance. "You know the last time we met with King Park he was very excited for the unborn prince you should have seen his face he wouldn't stop smiling" they chuckled at the memory "you know you weren't different either you wouldn't stop touching my belly you just couldn't wait for the prince to be here" she reminded as they smiled together at the memories.

"We promised each other to keep peace between our Kingdoms and keep our people safe I don't want to let him down now that his gone and I would do anything to keep his Kingdom going forward even if it means to use my son" suddenly there was a gentle punch to his chest as he looked down at his wife "stop saying it is a sacrifice our prince is the best soldier out there the prophecy said he would bring back the savior of the Moon Kingdom and that Savior is the prince the Lost prince I believe my son is the strongest of them all and trust me he will do exactly the same I believe in him" those were really strong words coming from her like she knew there wouldn't be anything to let them down she believed in her son and that made his husband's pride swell "that's all I needed to hear" he pulled her back to his embrace.

"Too bad everything we had planned for the engagement would have to be taken down I know he was really happy because he was getting married to his childhood lover but...." his wife trailed off "you know what maybe it's for the better everything happens for reason and I know this is one of the reasons but the wedding can always come in later" he assured "if we rushed this wedding right now it would be a bad omen, how can we celebrate when our brothers and sisters are suffering besides I think the wedding should just happen later this is not the right time" they both agreed even though deep down they felt bad for doing this to their son.

"And now we have the homework to tell about this to our son..."

"mom dad what is going on what do you want to tell me suddenly" the said son spoke.
