Chapter 67: Chapter 67 - Kanae Is Bullying me
As the time passed, it was already morning and Tanjiro arrived at their house happily smiling, because all of the coals were sold and he smelled blood but he didn't want to believe it, as he saw their house he saw the damage and some blood outside in the house.
Tanjiro panicked, because he thought something happened to them and he run toward the house and goes inside and he shouted
"Mom!! Nezuko!! Takeo!! Hanako!! Rokuta!!"
He was worried something might have happened to them and was afraid to lose his family. Tanjiro did recall mention of Oni's and believed that they exist.
"Oh Tanjiro-kun, your back?? Be quiet, the rest are sleeping."
Tanjiro turned to see Ryuu behind him and sighed in relief hearing his words. However, he was confused at what happened because of the smell of blood and for the trees to have marks.
"Ryuu-Nii!? What happened!? Why is our house damaged?! Why is there blood all over the ground outside?! i know those blood isn't yours or my family whose blood was that?! also- "
"Okay okay hold on! Slow down I can't answer it if you keep giving me rapid questions. Now calm down and I'll explain what happened."
And there Ryuu explained to Tanjiro what happened, how Muzan attacked his family and Ryuu defending them that Tanjiro was an amazing feat, Tanjiro had tears in his eyes and thanked Ryuu for saving them. If it wasn't for him, he doesn't know what would happen to his family. He bowed to Ryuu many times.
Ryuu warily smiled and tried to make him stop bowing but he reluctantly bowed and only sighed and let Tanjiro bow to him many times. After a while, Tanjiro finished bowing while Ryuu gave a deep thought looking at him and said.
"Tanjiro, wanna join the Demon Slayer Corps?"
"What is that?"
"It's a group of people who protect the innocent by battling demons that lurk in the night like the one I've fought."
"Of course! I'll join! If it's to protect my family while also saving people's lives then! I will do anything as the eldest brother!"
Ryuu smiled at his conviction without hesitation but frowned at the last part and understood the responsibility for being the eldest one. He may not be the eldest but knew his brother suffered.
"Tanjiro, you don't need to burden yourself too much. I'll carry some of that responsibility and protect you along with the others."
He nodded from Ryuu's words and had long trusted him even more so knew how his mother and sister felt about him. Tanjiro could literally smell people's feelings and personality.
"I know...also please take care of my Kaa-san and Nezuko-chan. You have my blessing."
Tanjiro clasped his hand and bowed, which made Ryuu silent and slightly embarrassed that Tanjiro was giving his blessing. He was worried that his reaction would be livid but it was calm and made confused as to why he had accepted it so easily. Wouldn't it sully the memory of his father?
"W-What do you mean, Tanjiro-kun."
"I know that my Kaa-san and Nezuko are like you. They always look at you in daze and I could smell their feelings from a mile away."
Ryuu wanted to smack himself for forgetting that he had an innate ability to smell things at such a high level that he was able to judge a person based on the aroma they produce. Again, he may have perfect memory doesn't mean it had instant recall.
"Aren't you angry? Mad that I might be stealing your mother from your father?"
"I can never be angry with you, Ryuu-Nii. You had been far too kind and always provided us more than we could ask for with nothing in return. I know it wasn't your intention but I don't want to be the one to refuse my Kaa-san happiness."
Tanjiro said that it made Ryuu feel like a burden in his heart was lifted. He softly smiled at the words of the young man before him.
"Just be sure to be there for her, alright?"
"Of course!"
Ryuu wholeheartedly said ruffling the hair of Tanjiro and glad there wasn't any hard drama. He did feel their relationship was forced but spending a few months together was bound to have some effect.
"Anyway, let's go inside. I want to discuss something with you all."

He soon gathered the children asking for their approval to come with him. Ryuu didn't want to abandon their hope because of him but to his surprise no one disagreed with him and we're excited.
"Nii-Nii, where are we going?"
Shigure excitedly asked since he dreamt of exploring far away from his home and seeing the world with his own eyes. Ryuu finds him quite an intelligent child when it comes to learning things.
"To my home, of Course!?"
Ryuu decided to bring them to the Dimensional Room where he can just adjust the time Dilution to be the opposite way when he's outside. It was one of the features when he upgraded it after acquiring it from the [ Gacha ].
"Are we going to meet your other lovers?"
Kie asked unsure if they were ready to meet the others since she only confessed yesterday. Everything was moving too fast for her heart to handle.
"What if they don't like us, Ryuu? Is there anything I should know?"
Similarly, Nezuko was anxious to know the opinion of her lover knowing that they might steal him from them. She wanted to appear that she wouldn't do such a thing. Ryuu only slightly chuckled, understanding their worries.
"You two shouldn't worry, I've spoken with them from time to time. Don't ask how since I'll tell you later."
He reassured the two that slightly calmed their nerves but still remained anxious. Soon they packed their things and took everything and before they left, gave a prayer to their father and previous husband.
Ryuu looks at the grave, sighing inwardly while apologizing for things to come the way they did.
'I'm sorry…but don't I'll take care of them. May your soul rest…'
He wonders if letting his brother rest would be the best thing to do but shakes his head and refuses what others are going to say. Ryuu desires for his brother to return and give the proper life that he deserves.
'Thank you…'
Ryuu shook and turned around after vaguely hearing a man's voice speaking softly close to him. He knew that it was Tanjuro's voice and gave a determined nod.
Once everything was over, Ryuu turned to look at the others confusion as to why they weren't walking. He smiled and reached out to open a portal that shocked the children, Kie and Nezuko.
"What's going on?? What? Is this what you're doing, Ryuu?"
Nezuko asked, confused at what she was seeing as enormous red glowing things appeared in front of Ryuu.
"Whoa so cool!? How are you able to do this, Ryuu-nii!?"
"It's called magic but anyway let's inside."
He grinned seeing the children's glowing eyes wanting to ask him so many questions but listened to Ryuu and followed him inside.
They were all at Awe once they saw the other side. The place was filled with a vast lake beautiful with a mountain range in the distance.
"Uhmmm....for how long are you going to stare at the lake?"
He warily smiled seeing them fixated at the clear water of the lake that was filled with fish and animals. Ryuu did capture animals to make the place more lively and even got some of them from the Gacha.
They were embarrassed after realizing their action and saw a large home that was far bigger than any house in the villages. Ryuu gestured for them to follow him and the children's eyes were sparkling at the many things that they were seeing and asked Ryuu about things.
"Well, your Ryuu-Nii is just a bit special."
That was his only reply to them trying to mess with them and laughed when they pouted wanting answers. Once the Kamado entered the wooden mansion was greeted by three women whose beauty was breathtaking.
"Ryuu-kun, you're welcome back!"
"I'm glad you're here!! Did you know Kanae uses her vines to bully me!"
"Shhhh Mitsuri-san you should be quiet there children here."
Shinobu scolded her who realized the way she was acting and was embarrassed hiding her face at Ryuu chest as he warily laughed turning his attention to Kie and Nezuko had a tense expression.
"Girls I would like you to meet…."
