Chapter 103: Chapter 103 - Date 2
After notice Ryuu's intent gaze felt out of place as she was uncomfortable wearing the clothes. It's been a long time since she ever considered wearing normal clothes after being given the job of being the Lakan that she frantically didn't want but the responsibility anyway.
When she had taken a test to be the Lakan, Trese was trapped in nearly a few hundred mental years where she actually spent nearly 5 years. Therefore, her personality and ways of life change.
She hadn't been able to have the opportunity to even shop clothes for herself and never thought to start having a relationship with a man. Trese always thought that she'd end up dying in her line of work.
"Does it look bad? I haven't worn these kinds of clothes for a while now and.."
"No, you look beautiful but if you feel uncomfortable then I don't mind you wearing what makes you happy."
Trese smiled for his consideration and genuinely didn't want someone who Ryuu liked to do something they were not fond of.
He could see that he was a bit anxious with her skin more exposed than before. However, Ryuu couldn't deny her appearance was rather renticing to look at.
"Thank you, Ryuu and I don't mind wearing this since it's just that I'm not used to it yet. Maybe it will take some time to get used to it."
"If you say so. Then let's go."
The two then headed their way to start the date. At first , Ryuu planned to bring her to some resort but knowing she canceled the idea and opted to just go on a nearby short line. It was enough for a sight to see.
For now they headed to the aquarium park looking at the sea creature that slightly fascinates Trese. Her expression slowly turned sad upon looking at the fish in their aquarium.
"Are you alright? You seem troubled again."
"I'm fine…it's just that is it okay for me to be happy?"
Ryuu looked at her confused eyes and only smiled softly before petting her head to calm the woman who needed someone to lean on which was why he placed her into his shoulder.
"Let me guess…you're troubled about the lives lost as you enjoy your life?"
"....am I that obvious."
"No, I just know you're too kind to think about others before yourself."
He could feel that she was the typical protagonist, the child of Prophecy that made Ryuu frown how foolish the world relies on one person when they are well capable of standing on their own.
"You are thinking too hard…remember you're just one person and the world doesn't owe you anything."
"....it still hurts knowing people are dying…"
"Alexandra…"
Ryuu said her name, getting the attention of the young woman as he smiled softly trying to stop her from staying naive nor did he plan on making her heartless.
"You are too kind, I'm not telling you to abandon your responsibility but try to live more freely and happily. Remember, you're not alone anymore since I'll happily be there for you even if you choose to only be my friend."
With his words made Trese smile even more than before finally having someone that she can share her burden with. Her feelings only grew even more from his words alone.
She realized how her mind had been far too self centered thinking she's alone in this world after her father died but now understands she's not the only one protecting humanity.
"Everytime, I always feel closer to you. Do you mean every word you say?"
"I am."
Trese stayed leaning on his shoulder as Ryuu let her enjoy the silence of being together. After a while, the two headed to the shoreline of manila bay that had been clean due the recent politician campaign.
The two watch as the sun begins to set as they are being swept by the wind and hearing the music of crashing waves.
"I always wonder this but…where does your power come from?"
Trese curiously asked as he kept silent contemplating if telling the truth would be a great idea. He was the admin and wouldn't face a penalty but adding her when they didn't know each other that much would be bad.
"Do you want to learn my magic system?"
Ryuu asked, knowing it would be a massive boost to her magical prowess and knowing that she would quickly acquire magic since her body already has magical energy presence but hadn't been crystallized and purified.
She ponders what she means about learning his magic system since Trese is only aware of Mahika and Salamangka (Black magic) along with Kulam (Witch Curse).
"What do you mean magic system?"
"My magic is different from your Mahika that uses incantation and sigil. In ways of learning my magic, it is by gathering magical energy and after a certain amount would unlock an affinity. This affinity is based on personality and talent."
Ryuu explained that the magic system fairy tail is vastly complex yet simple enough to understand. Trese gave it some thought since she was curious to see what magic could she acquire.
"Can you teach me?"
"Sure but for now why come with me and feel the water."
"Wai-"
Before she could finished as pulled by Ryuu into the water as they ended up getting soaking wet making her frown while Ryuu laughed out loud.
"Hahaha sorry I thought it would be fun….."
He apologizes only to notice that his mistake before realizing now that she was soaking her underwear was visible and made him breathless.
"No, it's alright, I actually find it fun and nostalgic….Ryuu are you alright?"
"Ah sorry…I'm glad you're having FUN."
Ryuu then splashes some more water on her before Trese does the same as the two end up playing with the water and splashing each other.
After a while, the two sat down enjoying the sun setting with Trese felt wonderful and gradually lost the burden of being a Lakan slowly being lifted by Ryuu's present.
"Did you have fun?"
"Yes…thank you for everything."
"No problem, as long as you're happy then I'm happy."
"Are your parents still alive?"
"Yes but they're still unaware. I'll tell them eventually."
"Aren't you afraid of them being hurt?"
"That's why I'm telling them to help them defend themselves. I'm just letting them have a peaceful life since they deserve it."
"....do your parents know about your relationship?"
"Not yet, I'll tell them along with the whole truth."
"....will you ever tell the whole truth?"
"Of course but…..it's up to you if you truly want to continue our relationship. Again there's no rush."
Ryuu said not want her to answer and regretted it later. Trese didn't say anything but knew she'd one day learn and be officially his. Once the day is over, he takes Trese and flashes through the city into the far outskirts where Trese lives.
"Thank you, Ryuu for today. Hope you see it on Christmas."
"I'll make sure to give you an invitation. Anyway, have a good night."
He waved his hand vanishing as Trese kept staring where he last vanished and touching her heart while smiling.
"Hey bossing, are we interrupting something?"
"How did your date go bossing?"
She turned annoyed hearing the twin teasing her wanting to punch them but ended up being karate chopped by Hank who came to visit.
"You two don't tease her. Anyway, have you eaten yet?"

The next day, morning. Ryuu was busily training to improve his [ Precise Mana Control ] in order to conserve his magical energy from running out and be used at its fullest.
"I wonder how the chat group is doing."

[ Self Proclaimed Human: I've been well and the cocoa tree you brought had turned into an Ent. ]
[ Honored one: Long time no see. How have you been and what's an Ent? ]
[ Titania: you have it in your world as well? if I'm not wrong there are tree monster. ]

[ Kozuki Oden's successor: Oh Maybe I should make my own logbook like what Oden did. ]
[ Honored One: Sounds like Rpg Mob. ]
[ Self Proclaimed Human: It is and currently providing a high quality cocoa after being exposed to dense Mana ]
[ Exhibitionist: We've been well, Ryuu. I recently succeeded on conjuring weapons and I believe that we can win against Raiser! ]
[ Simp for Makima: Oh that's great to hear! But I wish I could be the one to cook that fried chicken. ]
Ryuu did hate the arrogant prick who spoke in third person while Rias read the message and couldn't help but laugh and be grateful for his words.
[ Exhibitionist: Hahaha that's a good one but I want to be the one to defeat him unlike the one you show me. I just hate how pathetic I am that it makes me disgusted. ]
Rias felt disappointed in herself ever since she started to train and realize how immature it was to believe in a wishful dream. It made her appear that her brain cell was nonexistent.
[ Simp for Makima: I feel the same as you. I've realized a few things about myself and changed my outlook. ]
[ Self Proclaimed Human: I just wondering when will the next world mission would be. ]
[ Kozuki Oden successor: Me too! I want to have some adventure! ]
[ Thousand Master's son: I am as well. It's difficult to find time to train. And I don't want to approach Evangeline-san…]
[ Simp for Makima: I'm not too sure about the world mission. ]
[ Honored One: I'm sure sooner or later it'll appear. Anyway, I have to go. I'm currently looking after my student. ]

Soon the others followed and went offline as Ryuu headed to prepare to have a date with Kie.
