That day he was doing his daily thing as usual but suddenly he felt someone pulling him out of the pond he was overjoyed as after so much time someone finally choose him and he was more than ready to be reincarnated or even be destroyed as it was torturous living inside a pool made of souls and everyone is talking all at once it is like you are in a fish market but a thousand times more intense but all was not in vain as he had made many friends in the pool who were very talented some were villainous some were very kind people and some were just neutral but it was a lot of fun searching for someone in an actual sea of souls but that was now in the past I finally get to reincarnate in another world.
After getting pulled from the pond I heard someone say to the original god the OG "have you found a suitable soul for me although I know it is like a gamble you have to give me a good one, I paid extra you know so give us someone who might make everything fun for us."
The OG said "you might not know but I think this guy will be the best for you"
As I neared him, he handed me a contract and told me to sign it, I read the contract and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as the one adopting me is named "one above all".
Then I read the entire contract it read "one above all/ the creator decided to adopt the soul of jay Alexander into his multiverse and jay will forget everything that happened here until his true death in that universe or is powerful enough to secure the secrets of this place (that is only under special circumstances and can't tell anyone about this place even after remembering) after which he will return to us and the payment will be refunded to "one above all" after the rent is taken as well.
As jay Alexander has been trapped in this place for about a million years, he shall be granted with his own system which will help him based on his character (system awakening requirements: unknown system type: unknown system grade: grade a+) and a good background if he wishes to use his previous life's merits to get one (cost: all of the merits), good luck if he so decides (cost: half the merits of this life. Luck points: 50% of the total merits gained in this life, total merits = merits gained – merits used up.), accelerated growth if he decides to (cost: all the merits of the last life + 50% total merits of the to be life ) (note: the determined growth speed is proportional to the amount of effort and dedication put in a specific task), expert comprehension(cost: 1/ 3 of total merits gained)(can be upgraded under specific conditions or can be temporarily upgraded in the specific multiverse by requesting the adopting party), merit calculator(can calculate total merit earned one time use only can be used once in a given multiverse)(cost: 1/3 of the total merits earned.)(once used will remain bound to the user till he leaves the multiverse.), transmigration age can be selected at a cost of 1/ 10 of the total merits(note: original age is selected at zero means you will just be born normally, cost 1/10 of the current merits if changes are made.),birth time to be chosen year/ month/ day (cost: nil for first three universes), birth place can be selected.(cost: 10 % of total merits after 10 years of birth.) any other requests can be made at the cost of merit points.
Please sign your name if you are satisfied with the contract.
After reading the contract I was stupefied at the cost of all those additional benefits it seems to me like a daylight robbery.
I looked at the OG and asked "are you sure these are the prices for these benefits I don't see anything special."
The OG looked at me and replied "you might think this is way too much for such weak looking wishes but don't forget you were granted these wishes by me so these wishes are permanent and considering the amount of merit you have it is a bargain to get any one of them or you may use a certain amount of merit you have to request for a wish."
I looked at the OG for some time and signed the contract while checking on the things I want I checked on
1. Expert comprehension cost: 1/ 3 of total merits gained.
2. Merit calculator cost: 1/3 of the total merits earned.
3. Birth time I choose to be born in 1983/ March/ 07 cost: zero for first three universes
4. Birth place New York cost: 10 % of total merits after 10 years of birth.
5. # personal request perfect memory*only for one multiverse cost: 1/3 of total merits.
With that I handed the contract back to the OG.
He looked at me and smiled then asked me why didn't I save the merits I had and I still could have gotten a better life if I hadn't mentioned.
I looked blankly at him and asked "can you guarantee I would have been a human.
By then I mean I could have been born as an alien or even as a deviant.
If you can't then I didn't choose wrong and if I can get merits for doing good deeds then I better do it to humans."
The OG then said you might have been born as an Asgardian you know and I recommended you for that but now that you have handed me the contract nothing can be done anymore so I can only wish you a good journey. bye bye.
I was stunned then looked at him and screamed that I want to change the contract but was pushed towards the "one above all" and all the memories of this place were slowly fading.
As "one above all" took me, he heard the OG say "you have to go through the usual process of explaining and all that stuff but do not mention about this place and explain him about giving him a system now that you got everything you wanted you may leave."
"Yes, thank you" said the one above all politely and left.
After entering his multiverse, he willed the soul in his hand to fly out in front of him and as if unwrapping it self it folded open to form a human figure.
As he came back to his senses, he looked around himself and wondered where he was. As he was looking around, he heard someone speak so he turned around, he found himself looking at a towering figure that was slowly shrinking down to his level and then it formed the figure of a very well-known character "Stan Lee" then the void around him got filled with flora and fauna there were many different kinds of plants and animals there.
He looked stunned and asked "do I know you?" "You look familiar."
The figure of Stan Lee just smiled.
Jay then asked "what is this place how did you do that no wait argh…"
Jay just held his head and screamed as his memories came flooding in after some time he looked around and exclaimed in amazement then turned around to the figure of Stan Lee and asked
"Are you really "one above all" am I going to be reincarnated in the marvel world?
What time line am I going to if it is the marvel world?
what can I do if I was there.
After asking many questions I paused for some time to think things through then I said "ooh wait I realized I don't want to get reincarnated in this universe any more I don't want to die on the second day there and I especially don't want to be the lab rat for those crazy scientists of hydra, OsCorp, or any other such company to boot even if it is the government I don't want to reincarnate in the world where aliens, mind controlling freaks, and even demons visit on daily basis.
Can you not reincarnate me in the marvel world. Sure meeting your favorite heroes is kind of like a dream come true it is also kind of frustrating to think about saving your butt from crazy ass villains every day and if I am going to be reincarnated, I want to be a super hero."
After babbling for about five minutes, I looked at Stan Lee and asked "why are you not speaking say something why is it that I am the only one speaking and you are just looking at me as if I am a clown as I said that I touched my face and felt a round bump on my nose then suddenly a mirror appeared in front of me I looked at it and joked I really am a clown"
"Ok jokes aside lets get back to why I brought you to this universe now you see after Loki too control over the multiverse he had played around for a billion years and it is like getting boring even with many other characters added to a mix like mutants, eternals though every timeline was amazing it is getting boring seeing the exact same things happening over and over that is why I introduced many characters that made the timeline either better or worse well it depends you know" said the one above all then continued
"and if you know me from movies, animations and even fanfictions that I like to get the on-site experience on everything happening in the multiverse so I added many souls like you to the multiverse to enrich the engagement of every story in the multiverse that is also the reason I choose you. You see Loki and I were getting kind of bored with every thing that happened thus far so we will provide you with an untouched timeline where you can add the specifications you want here is a list of things you might want.
1. Mutants (includes x men and brotherhood of mutants and other loose mutants)
2. Eternals/deviants
3. Deadpool*
4. Sentry
5. Inhumans
6. Fantastic four
7. Or just those featured in MCU
You can choose from the list you know the timeline is mostly same even if you add these characters or not.
So which ones you choose.
Jay looked at the list and said "honestly, I want to choose option 7 and be done with it as it is much safer in the option 7 but you said you want entertainment and that's what you shall get, I am also someone who enjoys challenges as much as possible so I will check other options as well but I have a doubt why is there a "*" against Deadpool?"
The one above all let out a helpless sigh and said "he is an unstable character and is currently not under anyone's control you cant even stop him if he wants to do something he can even leave this multiverse and go to others just for fun. Even if Deadpool doesn't exist in your universe if he somehow gets to know that it is fun here he will somehow appear and once he appears he will not only disgust you but also create problems that are nearly impossible to solve without restarting the universe. Even I as the creator am helpless against him I cant just erase him from the total multiverse well he creates many scenarios that are just comedic to watch that is why there is a * against Deadpool even if you don't select him he might be present and I cant help you with that."
