Chapter 1: CHAPTER 1:my first experience
I entered into the room feeling so electrified,my presence seems to have drawn so many attentions..wondered why the so much stares. I quickly smiled,greeted few friends and made myself comfortable with a bottle of chilled drink.
Still looking around to know what was actually the cause of the stare but didn't notice anything.i said to myself ..maybe it's the perfect look of my outfit that drew their attention or perhaps my body structure.
As I continued with my drink in not less than couple of minute,a girl walked up to my table and greeted."Hi,my name is Anna..can I sit with you?"
Sure !you can and nice to meet you Anna.
"Thanks dear" said Anna.
I was about introducing myself when I felt an adrenaline hormone rushing through my veins. A thought came into my head .."have you forgotten whom you are mr.introvert"
I can imagine myself feeling so nervous immediately this word flipped into brain. I said to myself "not this time" cause I knew exactly what it took me to come out of my shell.
The girl feeling so perturbed looked at me and asked if I was ok.
I said yes I'm fine and quickly introduced myself as Franklin.
"Nice to meet you Franklin,you look so handsome " said Anna
"Same here Anna and you're looking so gorgeous " I managed to say.
After series of discussion with her,it happened that she was my neighbor and we both do attend same school.
At first, she was actually like....so you've been living around here for the past 3 years now and we barely knew each other.
wow! that's so cool.
You know what...my instinct actually told me that you look so much familiar immediately I came in here that was why I approached you.
"Are you sure about that" I said.
She looked into my eyes, smiled softly and said yes.i quickly managed to smile back but the look on my face shows that I wasn't that comfortable enough.
couldn't bare it any longer, even the nervousness was all seen in my eyes.
She asked again if I was ok,and I responded "yes I am" with a faint smile.
It was now getting late so I told her that I would like to go home now and asked her if she still wants to stay around or go with me.
"Let's hang around a little more"she said.
I looked at her and asked if she likes keeping late hours and she said no.
"i would like to be going now cause I have few things to tidy up at home before it gets too late and remember we will be going to school tomorrow"
She looked at me with yet another smiling face and nodded slowly in agreement to what I've said.
I immediately felt butterflies in my tummy and pretended as if I never noticed her.
We later went straight home together and bided each other a good byes as we got to our street .
"Imagine what was going through my mind as i smiled and looked back"
