Chapter 4: the lion opens his mouth
"Master Yuu, this is Uchiha Fugaku's confession."
Uchiha Eren returned with a confession stained with bloodlines after interrogating Uchiha Fugaku.

"Patriarch, how have they been treating you here? Are you alright?" Uchiha Garp sat on the humble tatami, his eyes closed. Suddenly, he opened them.
"Uchiha Yuu, what is your intention?" As the patriarch of the Uchiha clan, being captured by his own clan was a humiliating ordeal for Uchiha Garp.
"Well, I simply wanted to show you something." Uchiha Yuu retrieved the confession and placed it in front of Uchiha Garp.
"With all the crimes attributed to Fugaku now, if this were to go to trial, how many years do you think he'd be sentenced to?" Yuu asked, a faint smile on his lips.

Uchiha Garp's fist tightened.
"Do you truly believe someone will support you as patriarch when you frame members of our own clan and imprison the rightful patriarch?" Uchiha Garp's voice was seething with anger.
"Uchiha Yuu, you are too vile to lead our clan. You must pay for your actions."
Even now, Uchiha Garp remained convinced that Yuu's intentions were aimed at claiming leadership of the Uchiha family.

"Uchiha Garp, surely you don't wish to see your son imprisoned, do you? Because if he is, he'll forfeit any chance of contending for the position of patriarch," Yuu reasoned, employing a blend of persuasion and logic to sway Uchiha Yuan's decision.
Reluctantly, Uchiha Garp yielded to Yuu's persuasion and agreed to release Uchiha Fugaku.
"Release the patriarch," Yuu ordered, satisfied with the outcome. Since Uchiha Garp had consented, there was no need to incarcerate him; Yuu still required his cooperation to obtain the funds.
"It's too lenient to just let him go like this. This old fool has caused a lot of trouble," Uchiha Eren muttered, eyeing Uchiha Garp's departing figure with disdain.
"What if you don't? If you kill him, will some old guy in the Uchiha family just let it go?"
Yuu didn't intend to kill Uchiha Garp from the beginning.
After killing Uchiha Garp, let's not speculate whether Sarutobi Hiruzen will find an opportunity to question the guilt, and whether the elders of the Uchiha family will also trouble him.

The messenger was a Jōnin.
"Uchiha Yuu, you should release the young patriarch," the messenger said, glaring angrily at Yuu.
"Is that how you speak to me?" Yuu retorted, casting a glance at the messenger before kicking out directly.
"Go back and tell Uchiha Garp, I will let people go, but I have the final say when to let them go."
Then, closing the door behind him, Yuu glanced at the passbook on the table and stowed it away. Uchiha Garp didn't hesitate to deliver the one billion ryō to ensure the release of Uchiha Fugaku.
