Chapter 2: chapter 1 Welcome to Evermore
After passing through the Golden Circle I was stunned beyond words.... it was still a black void.
' Really? I went through all that crap just for nothing to happen...what was the point then? Oh well it is what it is I guess I'll just start counting agai-'
FLASH!!!
"Was that really necessary what's up with all the blinding lights especially that last one really hurt my eyes...huh i..I have eyes hahaha"
I couldn't help myself I was so happy to finally be able to see something again that I couldn't help but laugh at the sheer joy I was feeling.
FLASH!!
"AHHH!! OK OK OK STOP THE FLASHING LIGHTS ALREADY!!!!WHERE AM I WHAT IS THIS PLACE????"
Looking around at my new surroundings I noticed around 100 people in white robes standing in a weird giant circle looking in front of me.
"Hello, I'm not sure what's going on or if you can even understand me but can any of you please tell me what's going on? Why is everyone standing in a giant circle around me and where am I?"
"Silence all you're questions will be Answered. Once you all have quiet down"
Says a woman that appears Suddenly in front of the 100 people standing in the weird circle.
"W-where did you come from? W-who are you? Please, ma'am tell us what's going on?"
Said a young woman that is wearing what seems to be a robe similar to everyone else
"All your questions will be answered soon enough but first we need to explain some things."
She said with a small smile.
"First of all welcome, young immortals to evermore the beginning of the rest of your lives."
"Wait what did she just say immortals? Is she talking about us? How is that possible"
"Now now calm down and allow me to explain the basics of what's going on"
She says in a calm tone.
"I will try to keep this simple, so please pay attention."
She looks around at the crowd that is full of young people ranging from early 20's to early 30's
"My name is Fifi Lizbeth Abels and my class is to be a guide for young immortals like yourselves."
"I was assigned to guide you and teach you everything you need to know in order to survive in the world of Evermore."
"World? Is she saying that there's more than just this one?"
"As I have already told you all before the world is known as Evermore and it consists of many different planets and Relms"
"But the first thing you should know is how you all got here"
"You are all from Earth and before you died you lived a normal life until one day you had an accident or illness that caused your death."
"But wait what about our families and friends what about them?"
"That's a great question and the answer is no, you are no longer mortal and the moment you passed through the Golden Circle is the moment you died.Your mortal existence was erased from history and from the minds of those who knew you.But for now we need to cover some basic information.The first things you all need to know is about classes, attributes,and race."
"Everyone here is what's known as a pseudo-immortal with potential to be a true immortal"
"There are many ways a pseudo-immortal can become truly immortal but the two main ways are ascending through class rank or through racial advancement"
"Ascending through class ranks is the only way to become a true immortal."
"But I'm getting ahead of myself let's first go over what is considered a class"
"Classes can be anything but the simplest explanation is a class is a job or role that someone will fill and the skills and abilities you learn and acquire are unique to that class"
"There are a couple different class ranks starting from F,E,D,C,B,A,S,SS,SSS,EX,and the last and most sought-after are Sovereign and Origin."
"The class rank F is considered to be the starting point from which you begin your journey and climb the ranks one by one."
"But a true immortals' class is what's considered to be a Sovereign or an Origin"
"True immortals are known for their vast strength and the world-shaking influence they have on the world."
"Next up is Attributes and races."
"Every class has five basic attributes Strength, Vitality, Dexterity, Intelligence, Perception, and luck."
"The basic attributes are the standard attributes of the races that exist in this world and every race has their own set of unique characteristics that are exclusive to them."
" next is race and there are many races each with their own unique characteristics and advantages"
"There are many races like werewolves, elves, dwarves, giants, humans, orcs, ogres, demons, angels, and many more"
"These are the most common races and also the races that most of the citizens belong to."
"But the race that has the most diversity and most people belongs to the human race"
"Humans have an easier time adapting to things and learning skills."
"Because of this, humans are able to adapt to many environments and lifestyles Next up are the classes."
"There are several types of classes,like warrior, mage, and rogue."
"Warriors are usually strong and tough and have a high amount of strength and vitality, they usually specialize in weapons like swords and axes."
"Mages are the opposite and have high intelligence and Perception, their specialty is in spells and magic."
"Lastly are rogues who have high dexterity and are extremely fast and agile, they usually rely on stealth and daggers as their weapons of choice."
"Every class has their own specialty and unique advantages, but it's up to the individual to decide what path they want to take"
"There are other classes like clerics, knights, and paladins, but those are just some examples."
"I think that's everything, any questions?"
"Why are the classes F,E,D,C, and B considered low-ranks, while the A,S,SS, and SSS are high-ranks?"
"It has to do with the level of difficulty for reaching the respective ranks."
"It is the same for the races. For instance, the human race is considered a mid-tier race, whereas the demon race is considered a high-tier race."
"Also, the stronger and more Rare and unique a class is, the more likely it is that the class will have an advantage."
"For example, a warrior's strength is generally higher than a mage's, but the mage's intelligence is generally higher than a warrior's, so there is a balance between the two."
"And with that, I believe I have answered your question. Now, you all will be Teleported via the magic circle beneath you to random towns and cities Spread all Across Evermore whether you find yourself in a town or in a city you will find Factions and Gilds. For classes and race."
"You will choose a faction or guild you desire and then you will receive missions and quests to complete that are unique to that faction."
"You can complete the missions and quests or refuse them at your leisure, but you will not be able to refuse them forever"
"Now, I believe that is everything, are there any more questions before you are sent to your new home?"
"No"
"Good"
"Then you may be teleported"
The moment 'Fifi' spoke the last words I felt a rush of magical energy envelop me and then I disappeared in a flash of light.
"Hmm I wonder if I should have told them that they will get new names and races and classes when they are teleported to their new world?"
"I think not, they should have to discover these things on their own. And besides, it's no fun if they don't figure out a few things on their own."
"I can't wait to see how they grow and evolve in the coming years and decades and centuries? I hope they will entertain me. Well, no matter, I have my own tasks to do."
