Young ichiki and his father were running from an ongoing fight, when a bright blinding lights make everything go white.
Ichiki then falls off from a bridge and drowns in the water. These nightmares were of the accident that happened 9 years ago. As he wakes up from that nightmare,He pants with all the air in his lungs. He has had them often since that incident where his father died. Ichiki had gone to doctor several times, but the nightmares won't go with any treatments or medicines. The doctors told him to see a psychological expert, and some even adviced him to visit the mental hospital, but everytime his reports would show normal results. Everyone told him to just take it easy and that they would go by time.
"oh god I'm tired of these" says Ichiki. "Why won't these nightmares leave me? And why does I have to keep remembering these events even after nine years of my life?" He Wondered.
Ichiki gets off, makes his bed, goes to the bathroom and starts getting ready for school. After a cold shower,Ichiki had hot toasted breads with an omelet as his breakfast, because he could not eat heavy or oily because of his kendo training. Ichiki packs his bag, locks his house and gets going on his way to the school.
When Ichiki was on his way, he was looking up at the sky, wondering about how good his life would have been if his mother did not died. Everyday, when Ichiki saw others laughing,crying or even fighting and quarrelling, he would just miss his own family. Even though he had never opened up to someone, everyone knew how much he had suffered for a young teenager. As he was passing, his eyes rolled sideways,looking forward to an unusual sight. He saw that someone had scattered the garbage bags again, when his eyes open up wide enough to fall from shock. The number of flies hovering over the place was unusual, and all the bags were either torn or burnt. But actually what was the actual scary thing was that a hand was hanging out of from the rest of the bags and the half torn cover.
"Did somebody die here?" thinks Ichiki . He comes running towards the scenic view, and holds the cover. Ichiki takes off the cover and throws it in the air. As soon as his eyeballs rolled down, a man was laying, but that was just a quarter of a second. As soon as the cover fled in air, Ichiki realized that in that moment, which was shorter than an instant,, somebody had put a blade, with its tip touching Ichiki's neck.
The hand was the same one that was a second ago lying like it had no life, but now that hand was touching a blade at his Adam's apple. And, as Ichiki turned his eyes over to see the mans's face,but instead, his goosebumps and his instinct trembled as he looked into his eye.
