Chapter 3: A Boring day In Academy
Teacher's pov.
My life was going same as always waking up early in the morning preparing lessons for the students who won't last a month in war and then teaching them.
But now it has changed he has been promoted to teach the class with the most talented students in the entire Tribe, starting today he must work hard to teach these kids and pay extra attention to this class.
There is one child with A grade talent , five with grade B and fourteen children with grade C talent.
More than half of these kids belongs to the families of elders and the most talented child is son of patriarch, if he made a good impression on them and managed to curry some favours his future will be bright. He may be able to become Rank 3 Gu master then being the academy's headmaster won't be just a dream !
Taking in deep breaths I proceed to open the door of class.
"Greetings children my name is Shi Quian I am a Rank 2 upper stage Gu master I will teach you all about Our world and train you all to become best Gu masters in our Tribe".
Shi Feng Heng's(mc) pov.
Ignoring the lesson taking place in the class I pondered on more important thing what path
should I cultivate my father cultivates the fire path like most of our Tribe but my uncle cultivates the Wind path both paths are incredible and today I have to finally choose between them.
"Now children I want you all to write your name and chosen vital Gu on this paper tomorrow you will all receive your chosen Vital Gu you can go home now"
Huh That's strange shouldn't the teacher take us to treasury then flaunt our clan's collection of Gu.
Still i took the paper wrote down my name and choice gave it to the teacher and started heading home.As for what I wrote on the paper.

Fire flower gu is one of our Tribe's signature Rank 1 gu it can produce Fire which looks like a flower and it can even increases the temperature of your surroundings without even summoning the fire this gu feeds on coals which is pretty easy to find making this Gu popular for Gu master without any backing or for Gu master with less money.
On my way home I noticed how all the Gu masters I saw were either injured or Old, it looks like the war is in full swing .
After few minutes I reached my home and opened the door and to my surprise my uncle was there drinking tea leisurely.
"How are you nephew"
"I am fine uncle but why are you here"i said while walking towards the empty chair to sit.
"Do I need a reason to visit you" yes you do uncle.
Seeing me not responding he asked another question "which Gu did you decide to refine as your Vital Gu"
"Fire flower Gu" My uncle then nodded and placed a Fire flower gu at the table in front of me.
"Start refining it and when you are done call me I will prepare all set of Rank 1 gu you will need"
I took the Gu then questioned my uncle "Shouldn't I receive the Vital Gu at the academy like the other students"
"No" my uncle responded "all the students who are related to elders will receive thier Gu at home the rest will receive thiers at the academy"
"Whats the reason for this We should be flaunting our Gu collection so common Gu master works hard to obtain them"
My uncle smirked and responded "I could tell you my nephew but you don't have the strength or influence to know the Tribes secrets."
"I am son of Patriarch and the first Gu master of our tribe with A Grade talent in thirty years"
My uncle still unbothered by my words spoke seriously
"You will know the reason for this soon nephew I expect you to refine this Gu soon as possible use the primeval stones you have saved up to speed up the process"
"Do you understand me nephew"
"Yes uncle i will start immediately"i spoke with all seriousness I could muster up while questions plagued my mind.
"Good go and start refining I will prepare the rest gu worms for you"
I nodded and started walking towards my room to start refining.
Sliding my bed away I started to look for the hidden lock which will open the door leading me to my secret chamber there it is after pressing the lock the door started to open after waiting a few moments I took the flaming candle and started lighting the lamps across the dark room. This is the room where I keep all of my important stuff and some new untested recipes of Gu worms.
Ignoring everything I went for the sack in the shelf which contains my saved up primeval stones taking twenty primeval stones I started refining the Fire flower Gu.
