Chapter 19: Chapter 16: Evilus on the Move & Xenos Problem
Enyo POV
Looking at this city from above filled with nothing but filth makes my blood boil so much and want to destroy it. But now is not the time yet i must wait until everything is in place. If only that useless cat of Rudra finished off the Astraea Familia it would have made my plans a lot more smoother.
Then i look at the report from my hands; it says that the Astraea Familia was chasing the some Evilus members, they manage to take down almost every member of the Evilus but one manage to escape because the dungeon suddenly spawned a Juggernaut and its level is said to be around Level 7, and the Astraea Familia was corned by the Juggernaut and almost perished but was saved by a mysterious person and killed the Juggernaut without a problem and the savior of the Astraea Familia just left without saying a word.
As i look at the report i suddenly have a bad feeling about this, a mysterious person suddenly appeared and who is capable of killing a Juggernaut. I must be Ottar... no Ottar is not that capable of killing a Juggernaut without having some injuries himself so it must be someone else, but who?
Then i look at the report on what happened in the market district, it seems that Ottar lost to someone and was completely outmatched and went to the guild to ask more but they didn't disclose any information on this person, so i sent Filvis to gather some information regarding that person and if my guess is correct that man must be the one who save the Astraea Familia from their Demise.
"Filvis my dear i have task for; i want you to find any information on who bested Ottar." I said to Filvis who is just standing beside me "Yes Dionysus-sama i will go find out who this person is." Filvis replied and left the room.
Then i turned around and read a letter from Thanatos and he said, he made some progress on the Jewel Fetus and improve it for a bit, i'll meet with him later and discuss more about it later. Soon everything will come into place and madness and despair shall cover not just Orario but the entire mortal realm as well.
After waiting for Filvis for hours and i was getting impatient then night came and she came back with information on that person "Dionysus-sama i have returned." Filvis came in the room and bowed her head "So have you found anything?"
"Yes Dionysus-sama, im sorry for taking too long, because it seems that a lot of people witness the fight in the market district they all have no recollection on the man who fought Ottar." Filvis said and i was surprised from what she said so i asked "What do you mean by that?"
"All of the people who witnessed the fight have forgotten the face of the person who fought Ottar and only a few high level adventurer's seem to be the only people who remembers him, so i asked the some high level adventurer's and said that he didn't cast any wide area magic so they we're also surprised that they we're the only few who remembers it." Filvis said.
"So what your saying is that the our mystery man is capable of erasing everyone's memories without using magic and it was cast instantaneously like his other skills?" I looked at Filvis with a serious expression and she just nodded, this is getting ridiculous how can a mortal possess this much strength he's either an Ancient Hero or a Demi-God but i have never heard any Hero or Demi-God to wield such skills.
"So what else did you learn about this mortal?" I ask Filvis then poured some wine and i took a sip "His name was Uchiha Madara and he has a long and spiky hair that reaches up to his waist and was around 20 years old and from what i heard to some guild members they said that he joined the Astraea Familia." Filvis said then i shattered the glass of wine that im holding.
"Dionysus-sama?!" Filvis then rushed to me look at my bleeding hand then i slapped her away then i stood up from my seat then left the room.
This is bad if what Filvis said is true, then the Astraea Familia is most dangerous adversary we have this might bring. I need to change my plans, i need an army and Ares dogs might do with his desire to conquer Orario i will use this chance to manipulate him.
A few days later passed and today i receive a letter from Ishtar and said that she wants my help to attack the Freya Familia because of what happened the other day saying that Freya's Familia might have been weakened now and want to take this chance to eliminate her but then i started to feel a bit uncomfortable i feel like something bad is about to happen.
Then suddenly i felt a burst of power and i felt threatened by it then i look around and saw that mortals where not aware of it, then i turned at where it's coming from, and i saw that it was coming from Freya's home.
Then i suddenly felt a gaze on me and i felt a cold chill and i was unable to move my body started shaking and i was sweating a lot... is this fear? Then the gaze i felt is gone... Then i realized something, there is no trace of Arcanum that is being used, but how? So i thought it must be that bastard from the Astraea Familia, and then i felt anger within me building up when i realized that this power was coming from a mortal and it's being directed at me... no not to me but to every God's in Orario right now, it was like scanning everything.
A mortal dares to provoked a 'God'! Then Filvis who is beside me who has a worried look and asked "Dionysus-sama is everything alright?"
I looked at Filvis and calmed down a bit then replied "No. A problem has arise and because of that we have to change our plans. Call the Thanatos and the others and tell them that its an emergency and we have a problem at our hands."
Filvis just nodded and left, then i turned around and look at the city and begin to think on why that bastard would suddenly reveal himself then i clicked to me, he made himself known on purpose to gain our attention.
Then i head to Knossos to start discussing about what to do about our current situation and come up with a solution. After walking for a while i reached Knossos and entered a room and everyone seems to have already arrived.
I took a seat and scanned everyone in the room; Thanatos who is sitting in a couch and was having a conversation with Valletta, and Rudra and he seems to be in a bad mood and keeps pacing around the room looking a bit irritated, and Revis who is just leaning against the wall, and Vito who is just standing beside the door, and i stared at them for a moment and then noticed that there are still some who didn't come.
"Where is Ishtar and Ikelos?" I asked Filvis "My apologies Dionysus-sama but it seems that Ishtar-sama said that she can't come because she is busy preparing on challenging Freya to a War Game." Filvis replied with a bow then i thought 'That foolish Ishtar she is too obsessed on taking down Freya with consulting us' then i asked again "Then what about Ikelos? Why is he not here?"
"He said that he is busy because his Familia has found monsters in the dungeon that we're strange compared to a normal one, they said that these monsters has somehow gained sentience, and they begun capturing these monsters and try to sell at the black market." Filvis replied "What? A monster with sentience is that even possible." Then i begun to think, if what Ikelos and his Familia found was true then maybe i can use this to my advantage.
"Anyway, im sure you both know why i called you here." I looked at both Thanatos and Rudra and they nodded and i continued "I'm sure Filvis has already given you both some information regarding on that person." Then suddenly Vito raised his hands and asked "Dionysus-sama if i may ask what is this 'problem' your talking about im sure that everyone in Orario thinks that our organization is gone so why do we suddenly have a problem."
"I'm sure it must be that mysterious person that took down Ottar correct im sure you've heard of him." Valletta said and look at Vito then he thought for a second then said "Yes. I have heard that Ottar fought a nameless adventurer and lost, then i tried to find out more but it seems only few people know about this even though they fought in a place full of people and what is surprising is that the people of Orario is not gossiping about this event too much."
"Yeah it should have but it seems like these idiots doesn't care too much about it which is really strange, so i asked some people and they said that it was a lie made by the some people to tarnish the name of the Freya Familia." Valletta said and shrug.
"It seems that this 'Uchiha Madara' has used some kind of memory alteration on the people who witness the fight with the exception of the high level adventurers and some guild members, so you three; Filvis, Valletta, and Vito, i want you keep an eye on him and find any information on him and what his abilities are." I stared at them with a serious expression.
"Just a quick question, why do you want the three of us to go for just one guy, is he that dangerous can't you just send Filvis to stalk the guy." Valletta said as she slump down on the couch.
"It's because that bastard suddenly revealed his strength and im guessing only Deities on Orario felt it they're probably going to discuss it later on Denatus, his strength is comparable to a Level 10 or probably more." Rudra said in a low growl and everyone in the room is surprised except for the other two deities in the room who already know.
"You must be joking there is no way that bastard can be that powerful, after all i heard someone from the guild said that he just came to Orario a few days ago." Valletta said "That is the reason why we are sending you three to gain more information about him to see if it's true that this person possess that kind of power." I said to them with a narrowed gaze.
"Alright fine we'll do it, but we'll do it tomorrow i want to take a break first i just finished killing some people in the dungeon today now im a bit exhausted." Valletta said and took a nap at the couch.
"Yes i have something to do today so i can't go." Vito also said and shook his head "Fine then Filvis go with these two tomorrow and keep an eye on that mortal." I said to Filvis "Yes Dionysus-sama i will take care of it i won't fail you." Filvis replied and bowed her head.
"Now that we have this kind of opponent we need to focus on increasing our strength i suggest we bring Ares to our side and use him to buy us some time to increase our strength, since he wants to conquer Orario we can use this to help him so the others will be distracted and they will try to stop Ares." I suggested and they begin to think for moment.
"What if he doesn't accept? Ares is stubborn and prideful he won't accept our help because he thinks he can do it because he has an army and he certainly won't join us." Thanatos replied.
"He will because he may be stupid but he knows that numbers isn't enough to conquer Orario and what he lacks is the strength for his army, and that's what we can provide for him." I said with a small smile on my face.
"So how are we going to do that?" Thanatos asked and i replied "We'll use the same method that Apate used the 'Spirit Soldiers'." I showed them the 15 crystals containing some minor spirits.
"Isn't this product full of defects, im sure these 'Spirit Soldiers' need someone to control them and it causes rejection if not maintained by hexer's and mage's." Rudra grabs a crystal and inspects it.
"Yes. But we can use the Demi-Spirit to control the Spirit Soldiers and maybe try to improve it with also it's help, i will have Revis go later to show this to the Demi-Spirit to ask if it can make it remove its defect." I said and give the crystal to Revis who is quiet the entire time.
"It just might do since this thing is also a spirit it might fix the problem then we'll provide this to Ares if it turns out right. But how are we going to test it out?" Rudra asked then put the crystal back to the table.
"I will ask Valletta to kidnap some adventurers later to make them a test subjects." Thanatos said then i nodded at him "Alright with that taken care of we'll wait for these three to find out more about that mortal i will be taking my leave first Filvis stay here for now." I said and i stood up from my seat and left the room and Filvis bowed her head "Yes Dionysus-sama." After that i went home and took a rest.
Then the next day i went back to Knossos and wait for those three to report back and saw that Thanatos and Rudra are already waiting then i took a seat and asked them "What do you think about this mortal? Someone must have sent him to take us down." Rudra said with an annoyed tone.
"It's possible. But the question is where did he come from, and from his attire and appearance he looks like he came from the Far East." Thanatos said.
"Did any of our previous assailants have encountered or provoke someone from the Far East whether it's a Deity or a Familia?" I asked them and they begin to think for a moment then shook their heads
"No. Not that we are aware of, we mostly focus our objective here in Orario anyway so its unlikely we made an encounter on anyone from the Far East." Rudra said.
Then suddenly the door in the room open and the three came back. And as i was about to ask them on what they learned, i saw that they we're all in distress; and the moment they entered the room they all fall down and started coughing blood.
We we're surprised when we saw them all in a bad shape "What happened?!" Thanatos said and came beside Valletta and tried to help her get up and look at Vito but they both couldn't say anything.
And i looked at Filvis and ask her "Did that bastard do this to you three?" Filvis nodded weakly and replied "Y-yes Dionysus-sama, we we're following that man and saw him go to the Hephaestus Familia with the Vice-Captain of the Astraea Familia Gojouno Kaguya we don't why he went there so we assume he came there to get an equipment there, a-and after that he left there and we keep following him and then suddenly he turned around and he saw us then he released a powerful killing intent at us it was so powerful that it damage our mind and made us almost lose our conscience."
Then i turned to Rudra and said "Prepare on taking care of the Spirit Soldiers with Thanatos while i will go to Ares and meet with him." Then i stood up and left the room and Filvis followed me. Then i begun to think some other ways on taking care of that bastard. Maybe i will let him build a bond to this city and its people then i will use it as a leverage against him.
For now i will focus on making sure on bringing Ares to my side. Just you wait mortal will make sure you regret on provoking me.
Madara POV
After taking a short nap, i woke up and saw that no one is around, i then expand my senses, and i felt that no one is home, and i saw a note beside me and picked it up "I'll be going to the Wheat Manor to check on Astraea-sama -Kaguya." After reading the note i decided to check my status before leaving.

Then i just realized that the system doesn't a Level function, and as i was about to ask the system it suddenly respond before i can even ask.

Haa... So i can't grind some xp's yet. Well that's fine i should focus on my current agenda for now and get back to it later, after that i need to go at the Twilight Manor to visit Riveria and learn a bit of magic from her.
Then i stood up from the couch and stretch my arms and decided to head to the guild first to have a chat with Royman about the Xeno's situation i have gut feeling that the Ikelos Familia has already discover them.
As i was walking out the manor i saw a blonde girl standing in front of the gate, and when she saw me her face brighten up a bit then i approach her "Ais, what are you doing here?" I asked Ais who looks like she wants something then she looks at me for a bit and tilted her head "What is there something on my face?" I asked the little blonde and she shook her head then look at me "I want to go to the dungeon with you." Ais said with a quiet voice and with a look full of expectation.
I stared at her for a bit then sighed and said "Haaa.... Sure let's go together, but first let's go to the guild i have something to do there. Is that okay with you?" Ais nodded meekly and we head off.
As we we're walking in the bustling streets of Orario i asked Ais "By the way did anyone from your Familia know you are going with me."
"Captain knows im going with you because i asked him, Loki tried kept nagging that i shouldn't go with you but she left early because she said that an emergency meeting was called by the other Deities, and Lefiya couldn't come because she is currently being lectured by Riveria while Gareth and Bete we're training some recruits and Tione and Tiona was busy buying gears and potions for the Familia." Ais said with a weak voice but enough for me to hear.
I nodded at her and we kept on moving. Then after that we reached the guild and as we entered the place is filled with adventurers as always and i heard a voice calling over "Uchiha-san." I looked at the person who was calling me and it was Rose and she was waving her at me with a big smile.
I approach her and said "Hello, Rose-san." Rose smiled and replied "Uchiha-san, you're here Royman was actually looking for you today, i was actually planning to go to your home to pick you up, now that you're here let me take you to Royman it looks like he has something important to say." Then all of a sudden almost all male adventurers looked at me then some started glaring at me and others started whispering amongst each other, Ais then glared at the people bad mouthing me and she reaches for her sword and was ready to attack them.
I put my hand on her head and said "Ignore them, they are just jealous that Rose is more friendlier to me." She released her hand on the grip of her sword then i turned to Rose and said "Alright. Please Rose-san take us to Royman." She nodded and followed her at Royman's office.
As we we're walking i begin to think if i should introduce Ais to the Xenos to see if i can use them to influence her to reduce the 'black flame' in her heart. We reached the office and Rose knocked on the door and said "Royman-san. I've brought Uchiha-san with me."
Then we heard Royman's voice and said "Is that so. Come in i have something important to say." Then we entered the room and he saw Ais and asked "Sword Princess? What brings you here?" Ais tug my sleeves and said "Im with him."
Royman raised his eyebrow and looked at me "Ais wait outside i want to talk privately with Royman here." She looked at me for a second then nodded and left the room with Rose.
I turned to Royman and asked "So did something happen to the Xenos?" Royman nodded and replied "Yes, Uchiha-san there is a problem. There are Xenos that we we're protecting has started disappearing some of they're friends said they we're taken by some adventurers while they were outside getting some magic stones for their group."
"So you want me to track those people down and save those Xenos." I asked Royman and he nodded "Yes and we can also use this chance to make the Xenos trust you if you save their friends." Royman said with a smile.
"All right. Which floor did the Xenos disappear?" I asked Royman for more information "They disappear around in floor 27, those adventurers we're quite close to their hideout so the other Xenos couldn't help them because they we're afraid of their home being exposed." Royman replied and he handed me a map "This map is made by Fels he gave to me and said pass it you it can help you locate the Hidden Village of the Xenos." I then put map in the storage.
I nodded and said "Alright i'll be heading there now to investigate more." Then i started walking out of the room "We will give you the reward later when you finish rescuing the missing Xenos." Royman said and i nod and left.
When i left the room i saw that Ais is not here then i looked around and i saw her, and she is with Rose in lobby talking with Tione and Tiona.
Then i approach them and when they saw me, Tiona smiled and started waving her hands "Madara-san. We heard from Ais that you two are going to the dungeon today we want to go too." Tiona said and Tione added "Yes Madara-san we'd like to go to the dungeon with you and Ais if that's alright with you."
"Sure you guys can come." Then i turned to Rose and said "We'll be going first Rose-san i'll talk to you later." Then we started walking out of the building and Rose just nodded and waved at us.
When we left the building i asked the trio "What do you guys want to do today?" Ais answered with a small voice "I want to get stronger." Then we all smiled wryly and Tiona shrug and said "I'm not even surprised, anyway let's go i want to go on the Lower Floors today, probably around floor 29th the Dense Forest Ravine because i wanna to take down some Bloodsaurs." Tione added "I want to just want to fight stronger monsters so i can increase my Excelia, so i can finally become a Level 4."
"Yeah me too i also want to be a Level 4 as well." Tiona said and nodded "Yes i also want to get more stronger as well." Ais said with a small voice i just glanced at her for a moment and shook my head "All right let's go to the Lower Floors today i also have something to do there. Let's go to this alley." I pointed at the alley and they followed me.
"All right now you three grab on to me." They looked a bit confused and wanted to ask why but they put they're hands then i used Flying Thunder God and we appeared on the lake of the Floor 18th Rivira.
When we suddenly appeared in a familiar place "Wait this place is... isn't this the Floor 18th?!" Tiona asked in with a shocked face Tione look at me and asked "You can use teleportation too?" I nodded and said "Yes with this skill i can teleport anywhere if i put a Marked Seal on a certain place or object i can teleport to that location."
Then i pointed at the Marked Seal on the tree and they inspect it and i pulled out a kunai with a mark on them "I can also teleport with the use of this as well." I throw the kunai from a distance and it hit the tree and i vanish and appeared where the kunai landed then i teleport back to them "I can use this technique in combat as well. Imagine fighting a thousands of monster with this technique throwing this kunai on certain place then keep teleporting on them and killing your target one by one and they won't be able to react because they don't know where you will be coming from." I said with grin and the trio begun imagining it, and after imagining it when fighting with this skill they all suddenly have stars on their eyes.
And Ais suddenly tug my sleeve's and said "Teach me." I look at her and saw her face is full expectation "Me too, me too." Tiona started jumping excitedly and Tione said "Yes i want to learn that too Madara-san." And the trio looking at me waiting for my response.
"I'll think about it, for now let's go to the Lower Floors." I said and they can only sighed and we moved on.
As we we're going deeper in to the dungeon and trio killing all the monsters on our path, i noticed that their movement have gotten more nimbler, Ais suddenly stopped and turned around and approach me and asked "Madara-san why did you talk about with the guild head?" I look at her and thought 'Should i introduce them to the Xenos, maybe i can influence them properly to make them not hate the Xenos and since im also their teacher it might be possible.' Then i coughed lightly and said "Later when we get to the Floor 27th i will show it to you guys later." Ais just tilted her head and we continued on moving.
For a few hours we finally reached the floor 27th and the trio kept on killing every monster that appeared on our path, then we stop for a bit and i let them take a breather then someone called out to us "Hey there fellow adventurers." we saw an adventurer approaching us; it was a bald man who has a black tattoo on his face along with some few more adventurers following him they we're around 12 of them in total.
"Can we help you?" Tione said with a furrowed eyebrow Ais and Tiona also furrowed their eyebrows then the bald man raised his hands and said "Woah no need to get tense young lady, we we're actually just gonna ask you guys if you have seen a Siren monster it has golden feathers with blue tips on them." The bald man's company started scanning us and looking also at our gear.
"No we haven't seen a Siren with golden feathers with blue tip." Tione replied as she shook her head "I see we'll thanks anyway, but if you do see it please inform us our camp is just nearby we'll pay you 50,000 valis if you help us." The bald man said with a smile then they turned around and left and as he was passing by the bald man walked past me and i saw a glimpse of a sinister smile on his face.
Then i turned to the trio and asked "So what do you guys think about those people." "I don't like them they are giving off a bad feeling." Tiona said "They're probably up to something bad and the way they are scanning us earlier, they probably thought that we we're rookies." Tione said with an annoyed tone Ais is still staring at those people and said "I don't like them."
"All right you three follow. What im about to show you is something you can't tell anybody else." I pulled out the map from my storage and read it and followed its direction "Where are we going Madara-san?" Tiona asked and look at the map in my hand "Are we going on a treasure hunt?!" Tiona added and asked with an excited tone "Maybe." I replied and we keep going.
After following its direction for about a half an hour, we reached the entrance to the Hidden Village "Now what im about to show please be calm and don't panic and stay calm alright." I said to the trio and they nodded then i pulled a lever hidden behind a rock and the door opened.
And as the door opened we entered the place and was greeted by a group of Xeno Sirens, Lamia, Merman, Mermaid and Harpy and when they saw us they all started flying and getting ready to attack us and so did the trio they we're about to reach for their weapons but raised my hand to stop them.
Then i turned to Siren with a strong presence she seems to be the leader of the Xenos of this Hidden Village, as they we're getting ready to attack me i raised my hands and said "Wait. I'm not an enemy i come here from behalf of the guild."
The Xenos suddenly halted then look at their leader. She narrowed her eyes at me and said "Are you the one Fels-san said the one that will help our kind." The leader of the Xenos said and i recognize her and was surprised that she really is beautiful like in the original.
When the Xenos spoke the trio behind was shocked then they look at me wanting to get some answer but waved at them telling them 'later'. "Yes i am and my name is Uchiha Madara, i came here today because the guild said that you have a situation on your hand." I said to the leader and she nodded "My name is Ray i am the current leader of the of this Hidden Village. Thank you for coming here it seems that Fels-san didn't lie on bringing help for our kind." Ray replied with a smile and i can see in her eyes that she is a bit reluctant towards me.
"Now can you tell us what happened, do you have any information on the one who kidnapped your people." I asked Ray and she replied "I sent Yuli and the others outside to find more of our kind out there, Vex here was the only one who returned and informed us about what happened." Vex peek out from the lake; i saw that Vex is a Mermaid with a bluish-white appearance and yellow eyes she look at us with a look of fear on her face "It's all right Vex they're here to help us can you tell them what happened." Ray said calming down Vex.
Vex looked at Ray then took a deep breath and look at us and said "H-hello my name V-vex, i was with Yuli and the others there we're ten of us who went out. Y-yesterday while we are looking out for more of kind one of my friends Kayle saw a group of adventurers killing some monsters and when we saw them Yuli said we should hide but Kayle wanted to interact with those adventurers so she approach them we tried to stop her but it was too late, when they saw us at first they we're about to attack us but when they heard that we can speak they halted their attack that's when a adventurer with a black hair and red eyes approach us he acted all friendly at us so we thought that this adventurers are not bad people."
Vex started tearing up but continued "They asked us if there is more of us out there and we said 'Yes there more of us we live in a Hidden Village from here.' t-then suddenly all of them have a sinister look on them and a bald man started to put a chain on us. When Yuli saw this she tried to attack the bald man but was stop by the adventurer with red eyes and as some of my friend are getting captured the b-bald man tried to get me too but Yuli manage to save me and gave me a chance to escape because of her i was the only to be able to get away."
Tears still flowing out of her eyes as she was narrating her story Ray stood beside her comforted her with a hug then Ray turned to me and said "Will you help us save them adventurer-san." I nodded at her then said "Leave it to us we'll save them."
"By the way if you guys didn't know our kind are not exactly in a good terms with the regular monster out there they attack us on sight, that's why we sent out someone out, to find others of our kind in order for them not to get killed by them, and also magic stones are something we eat so no need to worry that we will eat other people." Ray said and give some magic stone to Vex and she ate it.
"So what you're saying is that even if you guys are born from dungeon the monsters still attack you're kind?" I ask Ray even though i already know about that. She nodded and said "Yes, even though we are all children's of the dungeon we are still being attack by them that is why we take refuges here in the Hidden Village to hide from them and also from the adventurers."
I notice that the trio behind me is still a bit tense especially Ais her eyes looking at those monster ready to attack them anytime, but ignore them for now and turned to Ray then glance at Vex "We'll be going now and save you're Xeno friends." Ray tilted her head and said "Xeno?" I waved my hand and said "Since i don't want to call you guys monsters since you are not one i might as well call you guys Xenos for you're kind."
Ray put her wings on her chin and thought "Xenos. Yes that indeed sounds a lot better." Ray said with a smile. Then i turned to the trio and said "Let's go we got to save those Xenos." And begun walking out of the Hidden Village they looked at me for a moment then followed me.
As we walk out of the Hidden Village Tione was the first to ask "Madara-san are those creatures are really monster born from the dungeon?" I nodded at her and said "They are indeed born from the dungeon and don't compare them to the normal monster that spawn with its only purpose is to kill anything in sight, they are more alive now compared to the other monsters." Tiona then ask "How is that possible, these guys clearly has gained intelligence how does that work? Do you know how they gained intelligence Madara-san?"
"The reason these Xenos came in to existence, it is because they're the reincarnations of the monster that have been killed multiple times." I replied and then i used Sage Mode to locate the Ikelos Familia and saw they're base is near the entrance of Floor 27th then Tione said "It seems that the dungeon has gave us a new mystery, should we tell this to the Captain?"
As we we're walking i notice that trio are still reluctant towards the Xenos. Well that's to be expected i'll try to find away make them friends with the Xenos and make a plan as well to have them live in the surface i'm sure it's probably one of the hidden quests.
"All right let's talk about it later right now i need to save some Xenos." Then i stopped and look at them and said "Say why don't you three handle this and save those Xenos." They look at each other then Tiona whispered to the two and they nodded and she turned to me and said with a cheaky smile "All right we'll only do it if you teach us that teleportation you showed us earlier."
Then Ais nodded eagerly and i can only smile wryly at their request "All right fine, i know you three are still reluctant towards them but please don't compare them to a regular monster, with them gaining intelligence they have surpassed their former self and become more than just a monster they are free now from the influence of the dungeon, do you guys understand?" They listened to my words and i can see that they are taking it in and considering what i said so they nodded and i smiled and continued "I'll leave those Xenos in your care, make sure you guys keep them safe, and don't show mercy to you're enemies." They flinch when they heard my words but they still nodded Then Tione step forward and ask "So Madara-san where do we start?"
"I'm sure you guys remember our encounter with those adventurers earlier correct?" I asked the trio and they nodded then they realized something "That's right those people we met is our suspect for taking our Xenos they are from the Ikelos Familia and they're level's are around level 3 and 2, so i suggest you keep an eye on those people and watch them from the shadows, i will watch you guys and take this as you're lesson for today." I said to them and i thought this might help them build a bond with the Xenos especially Ais since she has a strong hatred towards monsters.
Then the trio moved out and i pointed to them where the enemies are taking a camp. They approach the camp and hide behind tents and try to locate the kidnapped Xenos. And they saw a familiar face, it was bald guy who approach us earlier "Yo... Gran since we still haven't found that Hidden Village, how about we go have some fun with those rookies from earlier." A man with a tomahawk hair said and Gran replied "No. If Dix finds out that we're not looking for those monsters hideout and left our post he won't give us our money if we do, i mean we found a new type of monster we can sell this guys to the black market and make a big money from this, and just make sure nothing happens to them."
Someone suddenly shouted and was running towards Gran "Gran! Some of the merchandise have escaped!" Grand turned around and shouted "What?!" Gran smack the guy and asked "What the hell are you guys doing?! How did they even escape?!"
"I-it was Troy the monster pissed him off and opened the cage and killed him on the spot and as it was about to free the others Rae heard the commotion and the monster ran away and manage to free one monster." The guy replied then Gran asked "Where are they now did they get away?"
"No. Rae manage to find them and said that they we're hiding in a small lake." The guy replied and Gran asked "All right guide me to that lake, i'll fish them out of that lake," Gran grab his two handed sword and move to the lake where the Xenos is hiding.
The trio looked at each other and nodded then followed Gran to the lake. After running around for about a few minutes they reached the lake where the Xenos are hiding Gran approached Rae and asked "Are they hiding in this lake?" Rae nodded "Yeah they're hiding in there. How do we get them out?" Gran pulled out a two magic sword and he toss it to Rae "We'll use this." Then they started swinging the magic sword at the small lake creating a wave of flames.
When the flames hit the water of the lake it created a big splash and produced a lot of steam and the lake's temperature started to increase "Come on you stupid beast you should come out now or do you prefer of being cooked alive." Gran said while grinning like a maniac.
Then they noticed that the magic sword is starting to have a crack on them but they still kept swinging the magic sword. Then the Xenos hiding came out it was a Mermaid with a light blue skin same as her hair and indigo eyes and the other is a Lamia with a green hair and yellow eyes and light blue skin and they're skin looked a bit burnt.
Then they tried to run away the Lamia carried the Mermaid but Gran was faster than them, he grab the Lamia by the neck making her drop the Mermaid back on the lake "Gotcha! You bastards almost caused me to get into a big problem." Rae then approach the Mermaid and pulled her by the hair and drag her out of the lake the two Xenos we're struggling but can't do anything because they are too weak to be able to resist.
Gran then punched the Lamia in the stomach and she puked out a mouthful of blood "Laura!" The Mermaid screamed and tears falling out of her eyes and try to help the injured Lamia but Rae pulled her hair slam her head in the ground "Oi who said you move." The Mermaid can only grit her teeth Rae raised her up and the Mermaid spit on his face.
"Ah! Damn it!" Rae drop the Mermaid then he screamed "You piece of shit!" Rae kicked the Mermaid and sent her crashing in a rock "Trey!" Laura screamed. The trio watching this can only grip their weapons and especially Tiona who was about to jump and help them but was stop by Tione and said "No. Not yet, we have to wait." Tiona turned to Tione and she gritted her teeth then ask "Why, why do we need to wait we need to help them now their going to kill them."
Tione grab Tiona's shoulder and look at her with a serious expression and said "No they're not going to kill them, haven't you heard from what they said earlier they can't really kill this Xenos because they want to sell them to the black market, if you want to save them we have to wait."
Tiona can only bit her lips and watch as the Xenos get drag back to the camp. I was surprised by Tiona's eagerness to help the Xenos, even though they are from the monster kind Tiona still wants to help them i guess reading those books about heroes really made it possible for her to be this kind and compassionate even to monsters like Bell.
The trio then followed them back to find where the other Xenos are being kept. After walking back they made a quick chat with people in the camp and after that they proceed to bring back the Xenos to their cages, they went to a cave nearby and the trio saw the place where they are keeping the Xenos.
Gran and Rae then tossed the two Xenos back to their cages and when the other Xenos saw the two injured they started shouting and screaming at the two captors, Gran getting pissed off by their scream grab one Xeno in the cage; it was a Siren with a light blue colored feathers and it tips we're color red. Gran then grab her in the hair and said "Oi, you better tell you're friends here that if they don't keep quiet i'll make sure that they will get treated like these right here." Gran pointed at the two injured Xeno and the Siren can only grit her teeth and said "Everyone, stand down."
The Xenos who are screaming looked at her for a moment and stop their antics "Good birdie." Grand said and pulled her head and it hit the cage bar. The Siren's head started bleeding a bit gritted her teeth and said "I'll kill you." Gran only smirked at her and started laughing then left with Rae.
Then a Merman Xenos looked at the Siren and ask with a worried tone "Are you all right Yuli." Yuli then nodded and said "I'm fine but we have to find a way to get out of here." Yuli then tried to come up with a plan then suddenly they heard footsteps.
They saw it was a three girls approaching them and they became wary, then Tiona approach Yuli and she ask "Do you want guys want to get out of here." Yuli looked at Tiona and glanced at the other two people with her she frowned and ask "Who are you?" Tiona replied "We are adventurers who are here to help you." Yuli was about to reply but then the Merman shouted and said "No! They must be sent by those people to trick us so they can follow us back to the Village." Tiona shake her head while waving her hands and said "No, no we are not with them, trust me us where are here to help you."
Yuli looked at the trio then Tione went to the two injured Xenos and destroyed the gate with brute force then pulled out a potion and feed it to them Yuli look at Tione and shouted "Stop! What are you doing to them." Then Tiona said "Don't worry my sister giving them a potion so they will healed from those injuries." Yuli stared at the two Xenos who was injured now looking a bit better.
Yuli turned to Tiona and asked "How can we be sure we can trust you?" Tiona gave her a big smile and said "Because we met Ray and she said to save you guys." Tiona then destroyed the gate and freed Yuli and Ais then went to the other cages freeing the other Xenos.
Yuli look at them and said "Thank you." Tiona smiled widely and replied "No need to thank us just yet we haven't get out of this place yet." Then suddenly someone shouted "Help! The monsters have escaped!" They around and saw a guy a tomahawk hair Ais then lunged at the guy with her sword but he manage to dodge it by an inch away from his neck and he ran away keep shouting to alert the others.
"Shit, we have to get out of here now!" Tione said and turn to Ais and said "We'll charged at them Ais protect them for now while me and Tiona take the front and create a way for you guys so we can get out of here." Ais wanted to protest but didn't say anything else.
Tione looked at the Xenos and asked "Are you guys ready." And everyone nodded Tione pulled out her two kukri's and Tiona pulled out her large double bladed sword they looked at each then nodded and rushed out of the cave.
They we're greeted by the members of the Ikelos Familia Gran saw the trio and said with a mocking grin "What do have here aren't you guys the one met earlier near the waterfall. To think you guys we're responsible for freeing these creatures, by the way let me ask you this; why are you helping these monsters huh? Did them gaining intelligence somehow gained your sympathy? They are monsters they don't deserve anything other than being useful to us adventurers."
Yuli feeling a bit distressed and so was the other Xenos thinking that they have no purpose other than being used by the adventurers, then a voice suddenly ringed out "Who gave you the right to judge them, who are you to decide for them that their purpose is only for the benefits of us adventurers, just because they are monster doesn't mean they don't have the right to be free." Then they all looked everywhere searching for the voice and they looked up and saw a man sitting in a black platform in the air.
"Madara-san!" Tiona shouted with and smile, Gran looked at me a bit nervous and ask "You're with these girls from earlier. Who are you?" I smirk and said "There is no need for a trash like you to know who i am."
"You..." Gran gritted his teeth and i then turned to the trio and said "You guys are doing a great job keep it up." Then i used Genjutsu on everyone from the Ikelos Familia and vanish from my spot then watch them again from the shadows. Tiona smiled and stared at the Ikelos Familia and pointed her sword at them and said "Hey are you just going to stand there or are we going to fight."
Gran who was in daze suddenly snap out and get ticked off on what she said and replied "Getting cocky now you brat." Then he turned to the his companions and shouted "Capture all these monsters and bring them back to their cages and don't kill them because Dix will be pissed off he finds out about it, but you are free to have fun with those three brats."
When the Ikelos Familia heard their new orders they we're unsatisfied because they can't kill those monster but they smiled at because they can at least make the trio suffer. Tiona look glanced at Yuli and ask "Yuli-san can you fly and count on how many people we're up against?" Yuli nodded then flew up and scan the number of the Ikelos Familia.
As she was flying in the air an arrow flew by her and almost hitting her wings, Yuli came down and land beside Tiona "There are around thirty of them in total." Tiona nodded and glanced at Tione and she said "All right we'll take ten each and the rest we'll leave it to the Xenos who will be going with us. Yuli-san how many of your friends are capable of fighting with a Level 2?"
Yuli looked at her then begin thinking if she will allow her friends to fight, because she is afraid of them getting hurt or killed, then a hand grab her shoulder, Yuli turned around and saw the Merman who looks like he's ready to fight "I will go." Another Xeno step forward "I want to help so i can protect everyone." And two more step forward looking at her with full of determination Yuli stared at them and said "All right." Yuli turned to Tiona and said "We're ready, we'll go and help you clear a path to get out of here." Tiona smiled widely and said "All right get ready we'll push our way out of this."
Yuli turned to the other Xenos who are not capable of fighting strong opponents yet then stared at Ais and said "We'll count on you to protect them." Ais stared at Yuli then around and look at the Xenos behind her and saw fear etched on their faces then she turned back to Yuli and nodded and said in weak voice "Yeah Leave it to me."
Yuli then move at the front along side Tione and Tiona. "Get ready, we have to get out of here fast im sure they must have called back the rest of their Familia to ask for help." Tione said and they nodded.
Gran waiting for them to make their move now getting impatient shouted "All right enough waiting around everyone charged at them make those brats suffer the consequence for messing with us!" Then all of the Ikelos Familia smiled sadistically and charged at them.
Tione and Tiona also charged at them while Yuli flew up try to support them from above while the other three Xeno also charged behind the twins. Tione was approach by three enemies and one of them rushed at her with his two handed sword and swung it down on her but Tione sidestep and dodge the attack then she jump and deliver a roundhouse kick on to his face sending him away and crashing into a rock.
Another tried to sneak and stab her with a poisoned dagger behind her but Tione noticed it and used her kukri's to block the dagger then his companion saw an opening and thrust his sword on her back Tione tried to dodge it but the guy in front of her pulled out another poisoned dagger then she thought 'Shit i got too careless' , realizing the danger from the poisoned dagger she prioritized the block dagger first and tried to minimize the incoming sword behind her by twisting her body a bit.
As the sword was about to stab her, Yuli came down and kicked the guy away saving Tione. Then when Tione saw she was saved by Yuli she took the chance and disarm her opponent and kicked him the head and slit his throat. Tione looked at Yuli and said "Thanks for save." Yuli nodded and flew up again and Tione again rush towards the enemy.
Then at Tiona she was facing three enemies, "Well, well, well, little missy here wants to be a hero and save some beasts, i don't know who was that guy from earlier but im guessing he must be the reason why you've got the guts to cross us." A bald man carrying a large axe on his shoulder and was mocking Tiona.
"You're lucky that he wasn't the one you're facing right now, but don't worry im more than enough to take you all idiots down." Tiona said with a mocking grin "Quite the attitude you got there missy, make sure you have the skills to back it up!" The bald guy then rushed at Tiona with his axe and swing it down on her and Tione also swing her sword to meet his weapon.
And the moment their weapons clashed the bald guy was a bit stunned by Tiona's strength "Well what do we have here it seems that you're quite strong you're self." The bald guy was struggling a bit and then Tiona push the guy off and lost his balance, then Tiona rushed at the guy and was about to strike him down but was save by his team.
"Don't forget about us too." A man with a two handed sword block Tiona's attack but surprised by her strength then he realized that he wasn't going to be able to hold her back much longer and he shouted "A little help over here!" Then his team wearing a hood came down and rushed at Tiona from her side with a short sword and swing at her.
Tiona pushed the guy in front of her and she jump up to dodge it and she came down she used a vertical slash at the hooded guy he tried to block the attack with his sword but was destroyed when Tiona swing down on him and he was sliced in half because of her powerful slash his two teammates was surprised by her display of strength.
Tiona smiled widely and stabbed the sword on the ground and said "All right. Who's next?" The bald guy said to his teammate "Go behind her she can't swing that fast with her weapon on her hands." The guy nodded and dash behind Tiona then two more enemy appeared
"Ohhh... We got a two more to join us, i can't fight these guys with my current weapon, well time to switch." Tione switch her weapon and pulled out the Devil Arms: Balrog the people who are looking at Tiona was surprised by the sudden disappearance of her double bladed sword and now she is wearing a set of Gauntlet and Greaves.
Then Tiona's opponent suddenly became tense they felt a strong pressure emitting from Tiona and they started to feel pressured by her. Noticing this Tiona mocked them again "What's wrong where did all that attitude you guys are showing earlier."
They gritted their teeth and started to get ticked off from Tiona's words, the first one to rush was a tall muscular man with a claymore he made a horizontal slash at Tiona but she used a moved called Cruiser Dive she jump up almost instantly and the her opponent was now below her and as she came down she smashed him on to the ground killing the guy instantly.
When the others saw this they paused for a second, then they all decided rushed at her, Tiona saw this smirking then she used the move Break Spiral hitting everyone who rushed at her causing to them to get a injury all over their body.
"H-how can she be this strong, boss we have to run away." The guy with the hood said to the bald man, but the bald man gritted his teeth and said "No we can't, if we run away Gran will treat as a deserter and kill us on the spot."
Tiona suddenly appeared in front of the hooded man and punched him in and pierced his stomach the bald man feeling terrified froze on his spot for a bit but manage to get his grip and swing his axe at Tiona but she destroyed his axe by punching it.
Tiona used the move Light Blow on him and he was pummeled down by Tiona. As she stop beating the guy, he fell down and full of bruises and his face is now unrecognizable, Tiona turned to other people and saw them running away then she shrug and turned around to help the others.
Ais was watching from behind waiting for the right moment to move and get out of here but then Gran and four people with him rushed to them. Ais pulled her sword and look at the approaching enemies, Gran look at Ais for a moment trying to think where he saw her then it clicked to him "Wait aren't you the Sword Princess from the Loki Familia." Ais flinched then grip her sword and narrowed her eyes at Gran "Hahaha, i thought i heard from the rumors that the Sword Princess detest monsters... So why are you helping them shouldn't you be killing them after all they're monsters they don't deserve to live."
Ais flinched and turned around and look at the Xenos, and when she met their eyes they flinched and suddenly huddle amongst each other and we're shaking in fear. Ais grip her sword tightly then she suddenly thought of my words to them earlier 'They are more than just monsters they are free now.' Ais turned to Gran and pointed her sword at them and said "No, they are more than just monsters, they're people with they're own thoughts."
Gran was surprised by her words he thought he can sway Ais by turning to the Xenos. "Tch... Fine you asked for this." Gran pulled out his two handed sword then looks at his team then they rushed at Ais. Grand smung his sword at Ais but she side step away and Gran's team wielding a two dagger coated with poison thrust it towards Ais but she block it and disarm him and she thrust her sword at the guy but manages to dodge it by twisting his body.
Another one of Gran's team wielding a longsword made a horizontal slash at Ais she block it with her sword then she sensed Gran behind her swing down his two handed sword at her, she pulled out the Excalibur to block Gran's attack.
With the Excalibur in her hand Ais strength suddenly increased and pushed back her two opponent. Gran was surprised by Ais strength even though he heard she have just become a Level 4 few weeks ago but he was a Level 3 who is about to level up as well it still surprised him, then he looked at Ais sword Excalibur, his eyes is suddenly filled with greed and wants to take it from her.
Ais noticed the look from Gran's eyes and got a bit irritated then she said "Tempest" She doesn't want to use Ariel on them, but when notice Gran's greed towards her sword gifted by Madara she was pissed. Gran noticing Ais change glanced at his team and they get into position, with Excalibur and Ariel boosting her she left an after image and disappeared on her spot and appeared behind the guy who has a poison dagger and she killed him.
They we're surprised by Ais speed and rushed at her, Gran's team with a hammer swung at Ais but she dodges it because it was too slow and she thrust her sword at him killing the person. Then the person with the greatsword throwed a smoke bomb to block Ais's vision but she used Ariel to blow away the smoke away revealing the three remaining enemies and they we're already close to her and they swing their weapons at her.
Ais backflip and landed behind the guy with the longsword and thrust her sword but he manage to react in time and block it, but Ais used her Excalibur and made a horizontal slash slicing the guy in half. Gran saw Ais killing another of his team became enraged and charge at her dragging his sword from behind then use that momentum and swing at her with his full strength.
Ais saw the incoming attack block it with both of her swords in hand she was pushed off for a bit but manages to hold her ground. Then Gran's last team member manages to sneak behind Ais and caught her off guard and he appears to have a poisoned dagger from his hand taken from his fallen companion and stab Ais in the back.
Ais then turns around manages to swing her sword killing the guy but she was now poisoned and she is now weakened she kneeled and stab her sword on the ground to not fall down, Gran approached her with a wicked smile and said "Well that idiot manages to do something useful before he die." Then he kicked Ais sending her crashing on a wall then she coughed a mouthful of blood and tried to stand up.
But Gran put his foot on her back making her fall on the ground then grind his foot on her wound on her back making Ais grit her teeth in pain and said "At first i don't want to kill you because you are part of Loki Familia because they'll come after us if they manage to find out who killed you and you're friends, but now you find out about what's down here im afraid i have to kill you now."
Gran pulled up his sword and pointed at Ais's back and thrusts it at her but he was hit in the head by a rock and he stopped, and turned around saw the Xenos throwing rock at him and said "Leave her alone." then he went to them and tried to catch them, and while Gran is being distracted a Mermaid with a emerald-blue hair and jade eyes came beside Ais, then she tried to feed Ais Mermaid Blood to heal her.
Ais didn't open her mouth because she was still a bit reluctant towards the Xenos, the Mermaid said "Please let me help you." Looking at the Mermaid trying to help her with a determined look she opened her mouth and drink some Mermaid Blood, then Gran saw the Mermaid beside Ais he ran towards them "Oi you piece of shit get back here." Gran grab her by the hair and pulled her away then punch her face making Ais become enraged.
Then Gran took them back to their cages and didn't notice Ais recovering, Then she stood up and and grab her sword and swing her sword at Gran, and when Gran noticed Ais moving again but it was too late she slash Gran and punches him in the face with all her strength and sent him flying out of the cave and crashed into the lake.
Ais then slump down from exhaustion because of the poison and she rested for a bit before standing up and freeing the Xenos from their cages then the Mermaid who save Ais rushed at her and hug her with tears in her eyes and said "Thank you, for saving us." Ais was perplexed but she patted the Mermaid who save her and ask her "You're name?" The Mermaid thought for a second then replied "Marie my name is Marie." Ais smiled a bit and replied "Marie that's a nice name."
Marie smiled and said "Really? Then what is your's?" Ais nodded and replied "Yes Marie is a nice name, and my name is Ais." Marie smiled more widely and hug Ais tighter and said "Ais thats a beautiful name" Ais smiled and continued to pat Marie's head. Then Tione shouted "Ais let's go we have to move now!" Ais then heard Tione's voice then stood up and told the Xenos to follow her then they left the cave and saw that there we're a lot of bodies on the ground then Yuli approach them and ask with a worried tone "Is everyone all right?" Then Marie who is being carried by Ais said with a big smile on her face "Yes Ais save us from those bad guys."
Yuli looked at Marie and smiled then approach Ais and said "Thank you." Ais nodded then they saw that Tiona just took out the last enemy and shouted "Let's go guys the enemies reinforcement must be getting close, we need to go now." Then they all left the area and decided to head back to the Hidden Village.
After a few minutes the enemy reinforcement have arrived but they we're too late as Ais and the others have already left the place. Dix the Captain of the Ikelos Familia looked around and saw only corpses of his fellow familia on the ground and he got enraged but manage to stay calm and said "Find any survivor especially Gran, find his body." Dix gave his orders and they all started looking for survivors then someone shouted "Captain we found Gran!" Dix then look at the person who found Gran ran on that direction, he approach them and ask "Is he alive?"
The guy replied "Yes Captain but barely he has a large wound on his body and his jaws we're dislocated." Dix nodded and said "Give him a potion them bring him back to the surface to get him healed up and someone find out what the hell happened here." In the shadows my wood clone was watching them and have the clone follow them to locate the entrance to the Knossos since i can't find it with my sage mode so i decided to have my clone follow them.
Then back to Ais and the others after walking around and killing some monsters on the way they manage to reach the entrance to the Hidden Village. Then i came out behind a boulder and greeted them "Well done you three you succeeded on saving the Xenos from the Ikelos Familia as promised i will teach you the Flying Thunder God Jutsu." The trio was happy and excited and i pulled out the lever to open the door to the Hidden Village.
The Xenos looking at me a with suspicion and was tense for a bit and when they noticed that i was familiar with the three who saved them they sighed in relief that i wasn't an enemy. I stared at the Xenos and said "Let's go inside i'm sure Ray and the others are will be happy to see you guys." They nodded and then processed to enter the village.
