Chapter 2: Chapter 2: A Serious Person

Imperius Curse, one of the Three Unforgivable Curses in the Wizarding World, grants the caster the power to control the actions of the affected person completely, making them obey their will. if the use of the Imperius Curse is discovered, the offender will be sent to Azkaban.

No matter how you look at it, an eleven-year-old boy shouldn't be as composed as he is now while discussing his use of the Imperius Curse on a high-ranking Ministry of Magic official.

Wilson Wright has a secret.

His story began seven years ago when he was named William. A serious person's life naturally involves working seriously, learning serious knowledge through serious platforms, having a very serious social circle, and even a slight social anxiety.

He thought that his life would probably continue like this forever. Even though he would sigh that life was too mundane when gathering with friends, it was not bad at all.

Because he was not dissatisfied with his life, for him, all the incredible things in the world were just embellishments to life.

Until one day...

The mild social anxiety symptoms of William flared up, leading him to encounter a very peculiar friend while traveling.

There are always some eccentric individuals in this world who enjoy clandestinely practicing magic under the guise of simple tricks, and William, unfortunately, stumbled upon one such person...

"Hey there, ever heard of magic?" The man wearing some kind of mage outfit asked with overly exaggerated movements.

"Been binge-watching Harry Potter, huh?" In response to this quirky question, William paused for a moment before politely engaging in conversation.

The outcome...

He found himself whisked away to the magical realm.

So, sometimes, it's wise to be cautious of what you say.

Seven years ago, after that peculiar transition, William awoke to find himself as Wilson Wright in the wizarding world of "Harry Potter".

Wilson was an ordinary orphan, a common sight in London. Life isn't easy in London, and the orphanage where he was located always wanted to get rid of him.

Fortunately, a Transmigrator always has something up their sleeve. Perhaps because William didn't believe in magic at all in his previous life, a system called "must believe in magic" inexplicably bound itself to his mind when he became Wilson in this world.

Now, He really believes in magic.

So... Can he go home now?

After some research, he found out this system was utterly useless. Yet, it's one of his lifelines in this world. At least he doesn't have to worry about being casually beaten to death.

If he wants to go back, he can only try his best to improve his magical power through study and training, and use his magical power to travel back to his world, back home.

These are all the abilities that Wilson possesses.

Judging from the attribute panel, it's evident that Wilson's magical power indicates he's a adept level wizard.

However, looking at the skill panel, there's a high probability that once Wilson enters Hogwarts, he'll be sent directly to Azkaban.

The power he got by doing some training and doing some common tasks from the system allows him to defeat most wizards in this world.

Like Mr. Barty Crouch, who now serves him.

Barty Crouch, the current director of the Department of Magical International Cooperation at the British Ministry of Magic, also known as Barty Crouch Sr, was a high-level official who had hoped to become the Minister of Magic and was regarded as an outstanding wizard.

But, seven years ago, Crouch Sr was educated by Wilson, and with some trivial tricks, he became his first ally.

Who gave Crouch Sr a son who didn't meet his expectations?

Who made Barty Crouch Sr compromise his principles for his son?

Who turned his underachieving son into one of Voldemort's most loyal Death Eaters?

Who made it easy to manipulate him, and his son?

Now, Wilson Wright has a delicate relationship with Barty Crouch Sr.

To gain Crouch Sr's assistance, Wilson had to impose a condition that he couldn't refuse: Educate Barty Crouch Jr. and break him free from Voldemort's influence.

Companions who come together for common interests always have various suspicions along the way and cannot trust each other easily.

Seven years have passed, and Crouch Sr still harbors doubts.

Whenever Crouch Sr, a high-ranking official at the Ministry of Magic, begins to resist following his orders, Wilson can only resort to the Imperius Curse to control him until he calms down.

After all, Crouch Sr also used the Imperius Curse to control his son for a long time, preventing him from recklessly searching for the missing Voldemort.

At present, at the gate of St Gregory's Elementary School, a gust of wind tousles Harry Potter's hair, revealing the lightning scar on his forehead, and confirming his identity.

Crouch Sr sits in the driver's seat, eyeing the slender boy at the school gate. "My apologies, Mr. Wright. I thought your efforts were in vain..."

He then turns his attention back to Wilson in the car, furrowing his brow. "But Harry's just a child. Unless he possesses the same power as you at his age, I doubt he'll be of any help to our plan..."

"Harry holds other values," Wilson replies calmly.

Indeed, Harry Potter aids in his plans.

For Wilson, Harry's existence at least convinces Crouch Sr to believe in him, which is invaluable.

Especially once he enters Hogwarts, where Wilson can't control Mr. Crouch's actions for long, he must make him trust his plans.

In the end, trust is more important than control.

"Let's go," Wilson urges Crouch Sr, closing his eyes slowly. "In two years, when Harry enters Hogwarts, we'll find a way to remove the Minister of Magic from power..."

"Is that even possible?" Crouch Sr questions.

"Trust me," Wilson replies confidently, cutting off any further inquiries. "By then, if you can use this opportunity to return to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and take command of the Ministry of Magic's Auror forces, our plan will proceed smoothly."
