(Dante POV)

As the sun started to set, casting the sky in a hue of red, I halted my search for Sogiita.

"No luck, huh? Well, it's fine. Better get something to eat before heading home." With a tired sigh, my eyes wandered around my surroundings.

Using the money generously donated by a few kind gangsters, I made my way to a nearby vendor and purchased two hotdog sandwiches and three cans of cola.

As I walked at an average pace toward the dormitory, I decided to enjoy one of the hotdog sandwiches, savoring each bite as I continued on my way.

"This is pretty good. I think I know where I'm going to be a regular now." Muttering such remarks, I felt the decrease of civilians in the surroundings as quite a number of them were leaving the area as they moved toward the same direction.

"The magic side's barrier spell, huh? What was it called again? I can't seem to remember, or was it never named?" With such thoughts, I willed the Sage to teleport me to the top of a building that provided a perfect view of the floor of my dormitory.

'I almost forgot about this. My mind was so occupied by Sogiita that I nearly missed my chance to learn healing magic.' I said in my mind as I gazed at Touma's fight against a red-haired guy with a barcode on his face.

'Damn, how could that guy only be 14? Tf? Stiyl looks like some middle-aged uncle not gonna lie.' As I continued watching the drama, Stiyl summoned his flaming fire spirit to deal with Touma.

'Great Sage, scan the energy Stiyl is using. I want to be able to sense Mana.' After ordering the Great Sage, I could feel someone standing behind me as a nodachi was placed a few inches away from my neck.

"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" A woman's voice echoed, sounding firm yet tinged with a hint of curiosity as she questioned me.

"Me? I'm just a guy with a moustache." I replied as Great Sage scanned the surroundings before teleporting a Moustache prop from another dude's dormitory room.

Turning around, I found myself captivated by the Saint who hailed from the Amakusa-Style Church.

Kanzaki Kaori is a commanding presence with sleek black hair that falls gracefully around her shoulders.

Her sharp, focused eyes mirror her unwavering determination, while her lithe and athletic figure suggests formidable combat skills.

She wears a white shirt tied just below her left underboob, revealing her healthy skin and slender waist, paired with jean-like pants.

With one leg completely exposed, torn like hot pants, adding a touch of rebellious flair to her appearance.

"Beautiful." I simply stated the fact as I saw Kanzaki's eyes filled with confusion.

While I did know that Kanzaki is beautiful.

The difference between the woman in front of me and the one I saw behind the screen was like day and night.

This woman in front of me is really worthy of her simps, still not my type though.

"Thank you?" With a stoic-like appearance, she replied in a calm and graceful demeanor.

'Sigh, this girl would've been a perfect invite if not for her adamant way of not killing anyone. I know she can change but, I need capable helpers since I only have a year. I don't have time looking for people who need character development.' As my mind wandered around, Kanzaki asked one more time.

"Answer my question," Kanzaki said, her voice carrying a hint of steel as she shifted gears from gratitude to business.

"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Her gaze was intense, demanding a straightforward response.

"I already answered that, haven't I? I am simply a guy with a moustache," With a casual reply, I ignored Kanzaki's growing annoyance.

"As for what I am doing here? It's simple really, I live around here." With a nonchalant nod, I answered with a smile as if oblivious to the tension building in the air.

Kanzaki's irritation was palpable as she pulled back her sword into its scabbard, a clear sign of her growing impatience with the situation.

Kanzaki muttered through gritted teeth, her annoyance evident in the sharp edge of her tone. "You asked for this. Don't worry, I won't kill you."

With a quick draw technique (Iaido), Kanzaki aimed her nodachi toward my upper body, the blade gleaming with deadly intent.

However, to her surprise, the nodachi ultimately ended up phasing through my body, leaving me unharmed.

I could clearly see the confusion from her eyes but as an experienced Saint, her posture never stopped as she continued to attempt to deal damage.

'With her speed, if I didn't have Great Sage, I don't think I'd even see the trajectory of her attacks.' I said to myself as I continued to admire the nodachi gleaming ruthlessly trying to cut me up.

'Great Sage, how is the mana analysis going?' I inquired.

[Notice: Analysis has already been finished. Sharing Magic Sense to the host.]

Standing there blankly as Kanzaki also stopped swinging her nodachi, I began to perceive the mana inside Kanzaki and Stiyl, as well as the ambient mana floating around the surroundings.

With a grin, I asked, "Are you done? It's my turn now, right?"

Stretching out my right arm, I opened my hand, and with a space-distorted ripple, Yu Ilhan's spear appeared in my hands.

Earlier, before leaving the dormitory, I had asked the Great Sage to create a sub-space using my Spatial Manipulation and stored my spear inside of it.

I figured that using Space Powers to instantly summon the spear would be more efficient than needing to open the chats Inventory every time I needed it.

'Great Sage assist me in activating and deactivating the phasing effect in the spearhead.' After the command, I dashed toward Kanzaki as I swung and thrust the spear randomly.

While some may wonder how I'm wielding such a heavy spear with a regular physique, the answer lies in my phasing ability.

Currently, I've coated the entire spear with my Esper powers, rendering it as light as a feather.

Though I'm not well-versed in the exact principle, the Sage explained that anything I coat with my phasing ability experiences a significant decrease in weight, potentially becoming weightless altogether.

By coating the heavy spear with phasing, I can wield it effortlessly.

Just before impact, the Sage releases the coating on the spear tip if I'm thrusting, or on the spear sides if I'm swinging, allowing me to deliver maximum force with precision.

Using such a principle, I slowly refined my spear-wielding as I accessed the instructions hidden inside the Skill: Spear Proficiency.
