Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Nightmare
Smell of fire was everywhere, the heat seemed to drill directly trough your skin, every bit and peice of flameable had burned without question, leaving one question,
'Is this Hell?'
His eyes opened violently, his black hair was ruffled and sweat was glistening on his skin.
'That nightmare again, when it's going to be over?"
A quiet knock came on his door.
"You can come in mom." he said nonchalantly like this was an everyday event.
The door opened to reveal a woman with long jet black hair and red eyes, her appearance resembled that of Ryu's.
She came close and asked, "Is it the nightmare again?" the concern was visible trough her clear eyes.
Ryu did a weak smile, "It is, the same nightmare, it hasn't changed even the smallest bit." he was visibly tired, mentally, "I thought it would be over after swallowing this much sleep pills," he said as he glanced at empty containers of pills sitting on his desk, "but I guess it's gonna haunt me forever at this point."
His mom hugged him, "You will get better Ryu, I promise I will find a way, you just focus on your hero studies okay?" she said with a smile that Ryu couldn't not return, "Yes mom."
She grabbed one of the containers and pulled out a pill out of it, "Open your mouth, plane is coming in."
Ryu rolled his eyes, "I'm not a child m-." the pill was put into his mouth while his mouth was open, he couldn't do anything but swallow it, which made his mom smile once again and say, "You will always remain a child from my perspective. Now sleep, tommrow is a big day that you don't want to miss it."
Ryu gave up and just returned her smile, "Goodnight mom."
"Good night honey." she said as she closed the door and went out.
Ryu drifted off to sleep.
'I didn't knew how sweet dreams were, until I lost them all to nightmares.'
His eyes opened wide from the sunlight and his phone vibrating, he rubbed his eyes, turned off the alarm, and stretched his body.
He turned in his bed, placing his foots on the ground and climbing off of the bed, he opened the door and went to the kitchen to face his mom making breakfast.
"Good Morning mom." he said as he sat behind the wooden table.
"Good morning sweetie, here is your breakfast." she said as she placed plate of pancakes in front of him.
He picked his tableware and said, "Thanks for the breakfast.", before digging in.
After it was over, he thanked again and went to get ready to go to his new school, in front of the door, his mom started checking if everything was correct.
"You look perfect, as expected of my own son, now go out and show the world how incredibe it is when you're a part of it." she said proudly.
This made corners of Ryu's lips to rise and form an arc, "I will show them how incredible I am, worry not your highness." he said as he walked off.
He got aboard his train and luckily it wasn't overcrowded, he found a sit and sat, he was scrolling trough web while he accidentally overheard some people talking about UA Entrance Exam, or to be more specific, about the student who had gotten a full score at entrance exam.
"Have you heard of that guy who has gotten a full score at UA Entrance Exam, both written and practical." she was saying somewhat excitedly.
"Eh?! Seriously?" her friend said.
"Completely serious, they say he has even broken All Might's record in the practical exam." she replied to her doubt.
"Wow, they should be a kind of genius right? They must be the same ags as us! I hope they're handsome." the friend said.
"Why? Ah, do you want to write fan fictions? Didn't the last one almost got you into trouble?" the first girl said.
"Don't say it out loud like that, it's embarrassing."
Meanwhile Ryu who was overhearing this conversation was internally chuckling.
Soon enough the train reached Musutafu station and thus was Ryu's stop, he came out of the station and walked towards UA Highschool, and soon enough, there it was, UA Highschool, the prestigious hero school that was talk of everyone these days, and All Might being graduated from here definitely contributed a lot.
Ryu walked pasr the entrance and naviagted his way using the signs he found, finally, he was here, a large door which has an intimditaing size.
He slid the door to the right and walked inside, there were few people inside, he was early afterall.
There was a boy with crow head, a girl with pink skin and horns and a boy with glasses.
The boy with glasses took the lead and introduced himself to him, "Nice to meet you, I'm Tenya Ida from Somei private Highschool."
"Uh, nice to meet you too, I'm Ryu Shinrinmoto." those words were enough to attract attention of the three.
"Ryu? The same person who is number one examinee in the entrance exam?!" Ida asked.
"I don't think I saw any other Ryu in the list, so yeah, I'm Ryu." I said.
Suddnely the pink girl appeared from behind Ida, "Hi, I'm Mina Ashido, nice to meet you, I can't believe I'm classmates with the number one examinee in the entrance exam." she excitedly said.
"Nice to meet you too Mina. I'm gonna pick my seat if you two don't mind it." I said to them and they quickly opened the way for me.
"That was rude of me to block your way Ryu, I'm sorry." Ida suddenly.
"It's nothing serious don't worry about it." I said as I picked a seat next to the window and settled down.
'Well, everything holds up to my expectations so far, let's wait and see more before reaching any conclusions.'
