Two days have passed since Naruto began the third phase of Rasengan training, and although Sakura and Sasuke only train in the evenings when they should be resting, Naruto simply decided it was a waste of time and took to training with his clones even while walking during the day.
At first Sakura found his conviction in wanting to be stronger admirable, but after two days where she constantly hears the irritating noise of exploding balloons, she simply couldn't take it anymore and couldn't help but burst out in anger.
"Naruto..." Turning his gaze towards the original Naruto being carried by the shoulders by two clones of him, Kakashi asked "Shouldn't you let your chakra channels rest?"
"Not at all, this wears me out much less than rubber balls" With an exhausted face as he is literally dragged by his clones, Naruto turned his gaze back and continued "But I won't be selfish. Guys, take the exact balloons and go to the forest, when you're out of them, dispel them."
Shaking his head while muttering to himself, Kakashi turned his gaze to Sasuke and couldn't help but chuckle lightly at the sight of him being similarly carried by two Naruto clones while their limbs dangle heavily "Craziest team I've seen in this generation."
After an afternoon of physical training, Naruto literally couldn't even get off the ground thanks to his strenuous training weights and steadfastly refusing to take them off, he formed two clones and had them carry him, instantly being inspired to increase the intensity of his training to such an extent, that even after a night of recovering, he was unable to stand up the next day, making full use of his clones to carry him during his journey to the land of the wave.
And seeing this, how could Sasuke agree to be left behind?
Having spent all his chakra training chakra control with his clones, he had to throw away his pride and ask Naruto to carry him during the day while, just like him, totally refusing to take off his training weights, even knowing full well that his body recovery is much slower than Naruto's.
With a strange face as he watches the clones walk away, Tazuna turned to Kakashi and asked "Are all Konoha ninja like them?"
"Fortunately no, I'd go crazy if they were" Shaking his head, Kakashi continued "Although I know a few who are just as weird."
Nodding while taking a moment to look at the duo, Tazuna continued "But I must admit that it's admirable their determination... training until they can't even lift a muscle... it must not be easy"
"And it isn't..." Noticing the pallor on the duo's face, Kakashi continued "But it's that level of determination that it takes to become a great ninja, so just let them be."
Finally managing to have peace and enjoying the birds singing, Sakura smiled with relief and they continued their pace for hours calmly.
"Mn?" noticing that Naruto's clones stopped as Naruto himself looked dazedly into nothingness, Kakashi stopped the pace and asked "Naruto, is something wrong?"
"..." Blinking as he regains clarity, Naruto suddenly smiled and started laughing with glee "Hahahaha!"
"He finally went crazy" Looking at Naruto pitifully, Sakura commented.
"Hahahahaha!" forcing his feet to take firm footing on the ground, Naruto stood up by himself on shaky legs and his eyes sparkled as he saw he hands 'I finally managed to complete the third step.'
"Kakashi-sensei, I have a question" Quickly turning his gaze towards Kakashi, Naruto continued "It's regarding my upcoming training"
"I hear you"
"I want to train my chakra nature, but I don't know how it is that actually how to transform chakra to an element"
"You already know your affinity?"
"Yes"
"What is it?"
"Wind."
"How did you find out?"
"I used the chakra paper."
"And what happened to the paper?"
"It was cut in half."
"So you do have the nature of wind" Nodding, Kakashi stared at Naruto and commented "You're one of the few in the village."
"Affinity?" not understanding anything she heard, Sakura asked "What is that?"
"We are all born with an affinity to some element" Staring at Naruto, Sasuke continued "By having an affinity, that means that we will have an easier time with all the jutsu that have to do with that affinity."
"Oh..." Nodding with understanding, Sakura was silent for a moment and asked "And what is your affinity?"
"All of us Uchihas tend to have the same one" Turning his gaze to Sakura, Sasuke was silent for a moment and continued "Fire."
After a time of silence while staring at Naruto, Kakashi finally answered "You already seem to have decently mastered the physical manipulation of chakra, so it's only natural that you now continue with the manipulation of nature... there are several ways to learn it, some more difficult than others, but they all lead you to the same path... visualization, hand seals and many more"
"What do you recommend?"
"Mmmm... it's easier to tell you what to do" Turning his gaze to his surroundings, Kakashi asked "Do you still have chakra to train with your clones?"

"And how's your mental energy?"

As for Naruto, it only took him an afternoon and a day to manage to cut the leaves in half, but without feeling satisfied, he continued the training for another three days seeking not only to make a cut, but numerous of them, thus achieving today to slice a leaf into dozens of pieces without any difficulty.
As for the second part of this training, for now nothing formally started yet, since, for some reason, Kakashi felt motivated and started to teach them basic Taijutsu and killer moves like the one he is showing right now, causing Naruto to decide to leave it for another time and concentrate entirely on this.

While Naruto has memories of another life, his other self never went beyond the city and his home, seeing something as fantastic as the sea only through videos or movies, foolishly believing it wasn't worth saving money and going on a trip to appreciate it in person.
'How wrong I was' Inhaling deeply the strong sea breeze, Naruto smiled slightly and sighed with satisfaction.
Arriving at the small boat where a slender man was waiting for them with a long oar in his hand, Tazuna climbed in first and sat down, while Kakashi followed him and nodded towards the man.
