[Option 2: Divine Wealth System; you'll receive wealth as a reward for completing system tasks]

[Option 3: Divine Harem System; women will be more easily attracted to you, and you will become extremely charming, with the goal of creating the largest Harem ever]

[Option 4: Ultimate Villain System: The system will assist you in becoming the greatest villain and killing every protagonist]

[Option 5: Greatest Mage System: The system will help you become the most formidable mage ever]

[Option 6: Master Craftsman System; the system will aid you to become a master of crafting, able to create legendary weapons, armor, and artifacts with unparalleled skills]

[Option 7: Masterful Diplomat System; receive guidance on diplomacy and negotiation skills, allowing you to resolve conflicts peacefully and forge alliances effectively]

[Option 8: Inventor's Ingenuity System; gain insights into advanced technology and inventions, assisting you in creating innovative gadgets and tools to overcome challenges]

[Every option you choose will not affect your status as a villain. You cannot escape fate, and you must face the protagonists. Therefore, choose wisely]

Faced with these options, Victor was completely dumbfounded. The system didn't come with predefined functions; instead, he could choose!

He carefully read through each description. Honestly, all these options seemed really good; the system truly gave him a choice he could make for himself.

Option one, he would pass. Getting stronger over time might be good, but he didn't want to be beaten up just for that; it was all about self-respect.

Option two, he would pass too. His family was already extremely wealthy; he didn't care too much about money.

Option three... He fell into a momentary silence; admittedly, it did sound tempting, but he decided to skip it. His confidence in his own charm assured him that attracting women wouldn't be an issue.

Option four... Victor found himself rather intrigued; a villain system, perfectly suited to his role in this world...

He opted to explore the other system functionalities.

His eyes moved to the fifth option, the Greatest Warrior System. Judging from its description, it appeared to be a typical system featured in fantasy novels.

Then, options six, seven, and eight... Each one seemed incredibly enticing, leaving him in a state of indecision.

Victor stroked his chin, his attention drawn to options 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8, which captivated him the most.

After a few seconds of contemplation, he finally made his choice, "I choose option 4," he declared.

[Are you sure?]

Victor sighed determinedly, "I'm sure," he confirmed.

[Processing the choice... This might feel a bit uncomfortable]

After the system's words, Victor suddenly felt something entering his very being. It was hard to describe, feeling strange and new.

He closed his eyes, letting the process unfold.

---

More than five minutes passed, and Victor opened his eyes, immediately greeted by a hologram in front of him.

[Congratulations, your role now is that of a villain]

[The system is now named Ultimate Villain System and I will assist you in facing the protagonists]

[Congratulations, you've received the Villain Halo]

A satisfied grin formed on Victor's face. He was somewhat intrigued by this function. With the villain system by his side, he was no longer afraid of the protagonist.

"By the way, what's the Villain Halo?" he asked curiously.

[Villain Halo: you'll have a high affinity with evil and the dark side; your charisma and charm increased greatly]

Victor became even more satisfied reading that description.

"Alright, let's check my information. Status window," he said.

[Name: Victor Archfindor]

[Age: 18]

[Golden Finger: Ultimate Villain System]

[Miracle Spirit: Unknown (not awakened)]

[Weapon: Mjolnir (sealed)]

[Magical Base: Sage Realm]

[Skills: Muhamad Ali's Combat Techniques]

Victor's grin of satisfaction deepened as he studied his stats. Just an hour ago, he was merely an average human, but now he stood as one of the geniuses in the England empire.

His gaze turned determined; in this second chance, in this new world, he would make his own history.

-----

In the bathroom...

The water cascaded over Victor's body, drenching him completely from head to toe, a chilling calmness seeping into his bones.

Despite the serene atmosphere, his thoughts were consumed by the world he now lived in.

This world was a dangerous place, with numerous monsters and wild creatures roaming the forests.

This had been the case for millions of years. Historical records described how a giant asteroid had struck the Earth, bringing with it mana and mysterious genes that caused wild animals to evolve into ferocious, monstrous beings.

Furthermore, the geographical layout of this world was somewhat different, with the planet being almost twice the size of Earth in his previous life.

Also, in this world, the familiar names of America, Germany, and other countries held no significance. This world clung to an archaic kingdom system with modern and rational laws.

There were many kingdoms in this world, such as the Kingdom of Francia, Ptolemaic Egypt, the Roman Empire, the Qin Empire, the England Empire, the Mongol Empire, the Murim, Japan, and others.

Currently, he was in the England Empire.

Victor turned off the shower and then wrapped a towel around himself.

Exiting the bathroom, he saw his reflection in the mirror.

He ran his fingers over his chin, admiring his own appearance. His face was strikingly handsome, characterized by symmetry, flawless skin, and short black hair styled in an undercut.

His most captivating feature was his crimson irises, adding an air of mystery to his gaze. Towering at 193 cm with an athletic mesomorph gene, not overly bulky nor too slim, he possessed a commanding presence.

"A glorious day, it seems I will begin facing the protagonist," he said, a grin spread across his face.

The protagonist in this book, known as Leon Emery, is the generic type, the Zero to Hero, embracing the ideals of goodness and fighting against evil.

"I will make you suffer as I did, Leon," Victor declared, his voice dripping with murderous intent.

Although his origin had no connection to Victor Archfindor, he knew his own ending, where he was killed by Leon. Somehow, it made him feel a deep sense of resentment.

His gaze grew calmer again. As he was about to take a step, a hologram suddenly appeared in front of him.

[You cannot directly kill a protagonist. They are blessed by heaven and have immense luck and plot armor. Killing them outright is highly discouraged by the system]

[Some ways to deal with them is stealing and destroying what should rightfully be theirs, humiliating them, and shattering their mental state]

Listening to the system's explanation, Victor stroked his chin. Honestly, he had been considering that as well. Certainly, a protagonist with such thick plot armor wouldn't be so easily killed.

"Well, then I just need to slowly make him suffer, take away all the good things he have, and then kill him!" he declared, his voice dripping with sinister intent.

------

The cool morning breeze brushed against Victor as he stood near the open window, gazing at the beautiful cityscape of London. There weren't many tall buildings in sight, just a few skyscrapers, barely enough to count on two hands. Most of the structures were historical buildings with a hint of modernity.

By chance, he found himself in one of the renowned hotels named Rosemary Hotel.

In this moment, realization dawned upon him, "By the way, system, how do you help me deal with the protagonists?" he inquired, curiosity piqued.

[The System has an ability called "Devour" integrated with you. But it's specifically for dealing with protagonists]

[Devour Ability: You will gain various items, abilities, weapons, techniques, and many other items if you successfully seize or steal golden opportunities from the protagonists]

Victor stroked his chin and nodded, understanding the system's ability overall.

"Alright, that sounds promising. But is there any punishment if I fail to seize the protagonist's opportunities?" he probed further, his curiosity unabated.

[There is no punishment whatsoever]

Victor nodded once more, a satisfied smile gracing his lips as he acknowledged the system's potency.

With a decisive click, he closed the system interface, his smirk morphing into a malevolent grin.

"Now, let's start the first step!" he declared with a grin.
