Chapter 11: Changing Tides 2
Third Person P.O.V
Sometimes later, Both brothers along with Uta arrived at the Hideout. Ace and Sabo had returned some time ago, after plundering from bandits. They were busy counting the loot, while Mori and Luffy along with Uta entered their base.
"Who is this little girl?" Ace asked in a grumpy voice.
"Who are you calling little girl, you uncouth brat?" Uta replied with disdain in her voice.
"What did you call me???!" Ace shouted, while glaring at Uta.
"Stop you two!! There's no need to get violent with each other." Mori intervened to calm the situation.
"This is Uta. She is the daughter of Shanks, who is a pirate captain." Mori introduced Uta.
"Yeah, whatever." Ace grumbled to himself.
"Hello, Uta" Sabo greeted her while grinning.
"This is Ace and Sabo, our sworn brothers" Mori said pointing at two of them.
Uta took a glance at both of them before Huffing and looking away.
"And this is Fitz, our friend. He is a dragon. Fitz say hello to Uta." Mori introduced Fitz.
"Rrrrr" Fitz said with enthusiasm.
Uta had stars in her eyes seeing Fitz. She wanted to hug the cute creature but was too shy to act on it.
"It's okay. Fitz is very welcoming. Sh sh sh sh" Luffy said while grinning, seeing Uta's awkwardness.
"O-ok" Uta stuttered, before going near Fitz and patting it's head.
"Prrrr" Fitz started creating cute sounds while getting patted by Uta.

After the introduction was over, Mori declared that they are going to hunt the tiger, that rules over the jungle near Mt. Colubo.
"That's stupid!! How are you going to hunt the tiger?" Uta protested.
Ace and Sabo didn't say a thing, they had experienced Mori's strength firsthand.
"Don't worry Uta. Mori is super strong. Sh sh sh" Luffy stated while grinning ear to ear.
Uta pouted but didn't complain further.

So, Six of them headed towards the destination, while Mori, Luffy, Ace and Sabo each held a giant fish tied to their back, which they caught for luring the tiger. Uta didn't hold one, complaining that it would ruin her dress. Fitz ate the fish that was given to him, so there was only four of them left.

The weather was snowy, chilling winds were howling through the depths of Mt. Colubo. The entire mountain path was covered in snow. Through the fearsome path of frost, six of them headed toward their destination. After some time, they reached near the bottom of a snowy cliff.
Looking up, they saw a giant tiger looking down at them with a chilling gaze that could awaken the most primal fear within someone's heart.
After seeing them, with a push from its powerful hind legs, the tiger jumped down the cliff and landed a few meters in front of them. The tiger was huge, towering over them with atleast 10 times their size. Ace, Sabo and Uta were shaking in their boots. Thanks to the training he received from Mori, Luffy was pretty calm.
"Ace, Sabo, defeat that thing. Uta, you can join in the fun, if you want." Mori stated with a nonchalant look.
"Whatttt????! Are you out of your mind??!
That thing can kill us with a single attack!!!" Three of them shouted in harmony.
"Didn't you guys said, you want to be stronger? I will help you if you are about to die." Mori stated in a nonchalant tone.
"Are you sure you can even defeat that thing?" Uta asked, not believing what I said.
"You don't have to go if you don't trust me. Stay back." Mori replied, showing no interest in arguing with her about this matter any further. In response Uta huffed and stayed quiet.

Sabo and Ace charged forward. But after recklessly swinging around their metal pipes at the tiger, they were struck down to the ground with a single paw strike from it. The tiger was about to launch his finishing blow on them.
"Ace! Sabo! Get away from there!!" Luffy shouted. He wanted to rescue them but realised he will not get there in time. Uta looked at the situation in horror. Fitz was also worried seeing it's companions in danger.
"Sigh! They couldn't even put up a fight." Mori muttered to himself before vanishing from his spot. Appearing before Ace and Sabo, holding back the outstretched paw that was about to land on them with a single hand.
"Go away!!" Mori shouted while releasing his conqueror's haki, just enough to scare the beast away. Controlling it, so that Luffy and others aren't knocked out.
As soon as the overwhelming aura sweep through, the tiger was rendered immobile. It felt fear for the first time in life. It was like an overlord was looking down at an ant. It's instincts were screaming at it to get away. It tumbled before getting up on it's shaky legs and started to run away like a scared cat.
"C-conqueror's haki!!" Uta stuttered while coming out of her stupor.
"That's impossible!!! How do you have it. I have only seen Shanks use it before." Uta shouted, not believing what she saw with her own eyes.
"What was that? What is conqueror's haki?" Others chimed in, after coming out of their daze.
"Well, there are three types of haki, conqueror's haki is one of them. Haoshoku Haki is a rare form of Haki that allows the user to exert their own willpower over others. Unlike the other two types of Haki, this type cannot be awakened through training and only one in a million people are born with this ability.
It is said that whoever possesses this type of Haki has the qualities of a king and thus are known as Supreme Rulers. I will tell you in details about haki, when you are strong enough to learn it" Mori stated.
"But how do you know so much about it?" Sabo asked in a suspicious tone.
"Well, I snuck into Grandpa's ship and found some books about them." Mori explained in a not so convincing tone.
They looked at him with a gaze that said, Yah! Like we would believe in that bullshit.
"Sigh! Enough of that. Let's hunt some animals and go back for Today. It will be dark soon." Mori said in an awkward manner, like someone who has been caught red handed.
