Finding peace in the books she read, losing herself in the pages of the fantastical worlds where she could imagine herself as anyone she wanted to be. Her imagination soared like a bird set free from its cage, carrying her away from the loneliness that seemed to cling to her like a shadow.
As the years passed, Emily grew accustomed to her solitary existence. She would wander the woods alone, her footsteps echoing in the silence of the trees. Emily gave Ashley a sweet smile. "I love you."
