Chapter 19: Break In The Family (Edited)
(Klaus POV)
I was the first of my siblings to arrive at the stables. I am still thinking about Aurora. The words she said were cruel. Crueler than I thought her to be. I have been replaying them in my mind. I couldn't stop the rage boiling up that I hadn't felt since I killed my mother. The last of the servants comes holding the bags of my siblings. I guess I have been out here for hours. Then, in the corner of my vision, I see someone blur into view. When I turn, I see the person who has been on my mind, and I feel my anger and sadness skyrocket so much. That Aurora must have seen it because she said.
"Oh, Nik I didn't want to say it.... It was against my will... Elijah he...."
(Lilly POV)
I am standing with Rebekah and Elijah, who for some reason seems off. Like he is hiding something from me. We are watching from afar as Tristan, who is compelled to believe he is Elijah. Lucien, who believes he is Klaus, and the woman I turned named Sarah, who I compelled to believe she was me. They are waiting for whoever Elijah has compelled to believe they are Rebekah. When we all see a blonde walk up to them. All 3 nod with what looks like glazed-over eyes from our compulsion that when the other people, we compelled to believe they are us meet and say their names. All the imposters will recognize that person as who they say they are. It's a one-time compulsion in the layers of compulsion it took to force them to believe they are us. Elijah seemed disturbed and muttered.
"Who is that? Where is sh-"
"Aurora, you mean."
Came the voice of Erik from behind us that sounded truly curious. But with the friendliest tone. It was frightening coming from its source. Like a psycho playing with their victims. Rebekah and I immediately turned around, but Elijah stood stiff. Almost like he would die if he moved and slowly turned his head to see Erik looking at him like he was the only important thing at that moment.
When I looked at Erik, he looked the same as usual except he was in the same armor he saved me in. And in his hand was the branch of white oak tree that Erik always had since I first met him, and Erik said.
"You let that red door crack open brother. You betrayed Klaus...you do remember what I told you right dear brother of mine?"
I was confused and so was Rebekah because she said.
"What are you talking about Erik? What's going on?"
Without responding to her Erik continued.
"Of course, you remember, brother... How could you forget. It was a day of a lot of firsts. First kills, first losses, first betrayals, all three caused by one and the same."
Rebekah understood more than I did apparently.
"Erik, what does Tatia have to do with Elijah betraying Klaus?"
I glance at her, then ask Erik.
"Tatia the lover of yours that died.... what does Elijah have to do with it?"
Instead of the usual scowling he does when she is mentioned he smiled and said.
"Ahh, so he didn't tell you then. I am sorry sweet sister of mine for not telling you what truly happened with her. because you have been lied to. see Tatia didn't 'die.' No, I found her being fed on by Elijah. Who thanks to the devil whispering in his ear, gave into his bloodlust and created his beast... Tatia wanted to make sure my family was okay. When Elijah spotted her, he was like a hunting hound playing with its owner's prey.... Or so I was told by the devil, either way. Elijah's beast tore into her and when I found her, she was pleading with him."
Elijah spun around quickly and said with desperation.
"Brother don't please.... Do-"
"Hahahahaha, you sound like her brother. She pleaded with Elijah. Begging him to stop. Even told him she was with my child."
I was shocked. I looked at Elijah and said.
"You killed my brother's child and lied to me..... How? How could you do that?"
Rebekah looked at Elijah like everything she knew about him had shattered and had tears rolling down her cheeks as Erik continued.
"Oh yes and then he helped Mommy and Daddy curse the two bastards.... Klaus is still cursed because of him."
Having enough I punched Elijah and sped away anywhere but here.
(Finn POV)
Erik just left and Kol, Sage, and I are getting ready to follow his scent. When we noticed Juliette, just looked out of the balcony that overlooked the surrounding landscape. And Kol asked.
"Aren't you coming? Erik is going to try and kill Elijah. We have to stop him."
She just looked at Kol like he had grown a second head and said.
"Why would he do that? You heard him he is going to have a friendly chat with Elijah. Then everything will be fine."
We all look at her and I ask sage.
"Can you stay with her, my love? Just to make sure everything is ok."
She nodded, and then me and Kol sped after Erik only to be stopped by an enraged Klaus yelling.
"ELIJAH WHERE ARE YOU? YOU TRAITOR!"
Then we see Aurora with him. When they see us, Klaus demands.
"Where is your traitor of a brother? TELL ME."
Speeding In front of my face I just look at him and say.
"I don't know Klaus. We were with Erik when he took us to Aurora's room and then siphoned away Elijah's compulsion before telling us about..."
(Mikael POV)
It took longer than I thought it would to break that abomination Kol created. We discovered my children have taken residence in the Castle De Martel I look up and say.
"Get ready. We have monsters to hunt."
