Darkness enveloped me. An uncomfortable silence pressed in, broken only by a faint pulsing in my ears. Was I dead? Or was this something else?
Slowly, but surely, the darkness was replaced by a flickering light. A warm, golden glow that filled my vision. I tried to move, but my body was heavy and unresponsive. A suffocating feeling of panic rose in my chest.
"Do not be afraid, my child," I heard a soft, soothing voice say. "You are safe now."
The voice was filled with love and care. It sounded familiar, but I couldn't place it. I opened my eyes, and was met with a pair of gentle, brown eyes staring down at me. A beautiful woman with a warm smile held me in her arms.
"Welcome to the world, Arie Enryu," she whispered.
I stared at her confused. Arie Enryu? Was that my name? How could I be Arie Enryu? I didn't remember anything from before this.
But as I focused more on my surroundings, fragments of information began to surface in my mind. Images of a colossal tower, mysterious creatures, and intense battles. Names like Baam, Rachel, Khun, and FUG.
I understood then. I was no longer myself. I had been reincarnated into the world of Tower of God, the manhwa I had read countless times in my previous life. And I had been born into the Arie family, one of the most powerful families in the tower.
But something was different. In addition to the memories from my previous life, I had also inherited an incredible talent for swordsmanship.
