The equipment that Issei got was worthless since it was just another weapon that was leagues worse than his current ones. Sitting down... It had been a couple of days since the fight with Riser and Issei didn't meet with Artemis or Rias. He didn't want to deal with them just yet... he was getting a little afraid of them. Why was he becoming afraid of them now when he was perfectly fine beforehand... He just... was so confused. Was it because of her? Issei continued thinking about the reputation system... What was so special about him? There was nothing special about him...
"Issei... Dinner will be ready soon? Will you eat right now or later?"
"I'll eat later mom!" Issei didn't need to eat anymore... the system keeps him alive off of not getting hurt and just resting.
Just on his bed... relaxing with nothing to do, Issei continued being silent. That was when he heard a knock from the front door of his house. Getting up and exiting his room, Issei went down the stairs to see two beings with white cloth covering their faces. "Issei... is that you?"

Irina... Issei remembered one of his very close friends when he was little being named that. "Yeah... Is that you Irina?"
Irina took off her cloth from covering her head and smiled brightly. Rushing to Issei and hugging him, she squealed in joy. "Finally... I found you... Issei, I can't believe it's you."
Pushing her gently, Issei didn't want to get hugged by someone he just met again... even if he knew her from the past. "So... what are you doing here?"
"Classified information!" The other girl that Irina came with said.
Ignoring her, Issei waited for Irina to respond. "Oh... I was just checking on you."
Looking at his mother with a serious stare, his mother nodded and walked away. Something was going to happen, and she knew her son was going to deal with it. Once his mother was in the kitchen, he led the girls back outside and closed the door to make sure his mother didn't hear anything from this. His father was snoozing away in his own room...
"What are you two doing here in devil territory?"
The blunt question caught the two off, but the other girl responded quickly, "We don't need to tell you."
"Then don't."
Again, catching them off guard with the bluntness, Irina responded this time. "What?"
"I don't really care what you're doing here... so why would I press in asking you?"
"Oh... that does make sense."
"Is that all you wanted from me?" Issei asked, getting a little tired from the hostility that the cloth girl was giving him.
Irina shook her head, "Since you know of the supernatural world... could we ask you for direction to where the leaders of the territory are?"
"One of them is right in front of you."
Irina and the cloth girl doubted his words. "But honestly... Rias is better at me than this. Just go to the school and find the weird building near it. That's where she is... Just don't try anything bad... Or I will kill you." He knew that the system would warn him before anything would happen.
The cloth girl finally removed her cloth and showcased her blue hair. "Is that a threat?"
"No... What I say is going to happen."
Narrowing her eyes, she didn't like that... "Are you on the side of the devils?"
"What if I am? What will you two exorcists do with your puny swords and nearly illegal clothing?"
Grinding her teeth in anger, Xenovia, Issei checked her name from her stats, gripped onto the handle of her sword. Irina, seeing the tension quickly got in the way of the two. "Woah! Woah! Woah! Calm down! We're here in peace... we didn't mean for any frustration. We'll be going... thank you for the help, Issei. I'll make sure to catch up with you in a little bit! I promise!"
With that... the two left Issei, not before Xenovia and Issei locked eyes with each other. Issei simply stared at her with an emotionless glance.
"Should I warn Rias of what is going to happen? Nah... I have a feeling that she has this under control." Issei took a couple of steps forwards and the next thing that happened is...

With that, Issei had marched his way towards the school to only be met with Rias and Xenovia making eye contact and the tension in the Occult Building being at a maximum again. Opening the door, Issei was met with everyone gazing upon him.
The moment Rias saw him, she jumped towards him and hugged him tightly. Nuzzling into his chest... Issei gently pushed her back a little, causing her to pout, but he turned his attention back to Xenovia.
"What are you doing here?"
Issei looked at her before speaking... "Rias... What was she telling you about their business here?"
Without hesitation, Rias began telling Issei, "They came here telling us about their investigation with the seven fragments of the holy sword Excalibur."
"Oh... okay?" Looking a little confused, Issei turned to see Xenovia giving him a death glare.
"Why would you tell him that? He doesn't need to know any of this!"
"He is the hero of this territory and someone that I trust almost as much as I trust my brother. If you think I won't tell him anything... you are dead wrong." Rias declared while glaring back at Xenovia.
The woman in question gripped her sword once more and that was when Issei had enough. "You pick up that sword and I will end you..."
"You will make the entire church your enemy! Will-"
"Not if I kill both of you fast enough."
"What?" Appearing right in front of her, faster than she could even process, Issei looked down to her and smirked.
"I want you to see how hopeless you are... swing your sword into me." Xenovia, being mocked, angrily swung Excalibur Destruction right into Issei... but the moment that it made contact with him, it immediately stopped. "You can hurt me..."
Gasping in shock, she swung again... again... and again... "Is this sword special to you?"
"This sword was given to me because of my servitude to the church and my devotion to my lord!" Hearing enough, Issei grabbed her sword and smirked. "What are you doing?"
"This sword... is this why you're thinking you're so powerful? Do you really believe that a sword is what makes someone strong? Your higher ups are strong because they have other attributes... they have many qualities that excel them... But you... dangling this sword around like it's the most powerful thing is just... sad." Gripping the sword and, using his titanic strength, crushed the sword.
Everyone gasped in shock and pure bewilderment... For a fragment of Excalibur to be broken so easily. "Issei..." Rias wanted to ask why Issei did that... but she quickly silenced herself when she watched as Xenovia collapsed onto the ground.
"How... why? Why would you crush the fragment of Excalibur like that?" Kiba watched this with a little amusement in seeing his nightmare being shattered like it was nothing... "That was a sword given to me... for being special."
"And you are special... in the wrong way." Issei turned around and walked away. "I just want to know... what are you truly doing here? The church and devils being in the same area... from what I have read... it doesn't really workout most of the time. Is there something special happening?"
Irina quickly piqued in before anything could escalate because of Xenovia's hate for anyone working with the devils, "Kokabiel... He is the prime suspect of collecting the fragments... we just want to retrieve them. Rumors are going around that he also had someone working for him... someone leading his armies. It was a woman... she had black feathers... not only that... but she was rumored to have black-hair as well. She was a merciless killer."
Widening his eyes and saying only one thing in a pained tone," Black feathers... No... it can't be...?"
Rias turned to see Issei with his eyes widened and his mouth opened. Hearing the way he said that, she didn't know what was happening. Why did that cause Issei to act like this?
"You said... a lady with black feathers... was involved?" There was only one thought and one person that could have been doing that...
Irina nodded, "Yes... the people of the church that did go on a hunt, the ones that survived did say that she was with him."
Without saying anything, Issei began walking out of the building. Ignoring everyone around him, his soulless eyes stared straight ahead. That was all that he needed to hear...
Rias tried to stop Issei... but he continued, ignoring everything that she said to him. Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko watched this... even if Kiba was going through his trauma with the Excalibur... seeing this side of Issei was shocking to them all. Irina was in the same situation... The sudden shift in confidence to pure silence was worrying them all.
"Raynare..." Issei mentioned once more before he disappeared.
He has his goal back... and no one will stop him from obtaining it.
