Chapter 10: Leaving Impel Down

Magnus hung suspended in mid-air, his chiseled body glistening with sweat as he withdrew from Sadi's ravaged and quivering backside.

Despite the exhaustion still weighing on his muscles, he felt a rush of adrenaline course through him. The battle with Magellan had left him drained, but now he was invigorated.

This was the strange blessing – perhaps a curse – he was born with.

Sex and even debauchery could revive him!

Maybe it had something to do with being a carrier of the Will of D., a lineage known for its strange and unpredictable abilities.

His gaze shifted downwards, taking in the sight of Sadi who was now busily adjusting her clothes. Her movements were accompanied by soft whimpers as the pleasure of her orgasm slowly gave way to the returning pain in her ass.

"Oh well… a little bit of pain is nothing to worry about," Magnus remarked before turning his attention towards Magellan below. The latter has just killed the guards.

"Wow, Warden!"

Magnus called out, his voice booming through the air.

"I've seen jealousy before, but never anything quite so pathetic! Killing your own men because only you deserve the pleasure of seeing Sadi being ravaged! Talk about greedy!!"

"!!!"

Magellan's face contorted in a mask of rage.

This scum! How dare he taunt him like that!

But then, amidst the fury, a spark of reason flickered, and his expression twisted into a triumphant sneer.

"You think you've won, do you?!" he rasped, his voice weak but laced with defiance. "Impel Down is surrounded by the treacherous Calm Belt and the Tarai Current – a death trap for criminals like you! Even if you escape this prison, the sea itself will claim you!"

Magnus' eyes narrowed. A sinking feeling emerged in his guts. He watched as Magellan's face split into a cruel laugh, clearly enjoying the thought of their impending doom.

The reason: When Monkey D. Luffy and his crew escaped, the Marines had strategically moved all battleships stationed around Impel Down outwards. Luffy managed to overcome this obstacle by taking over a ship with Jinbe's help. But Magnus, a Devil Fruit user, couldn't swim and didn't have the advantage of a Fishman ally. He was truly trapped!

"Hahahaha!"

Magellan's laughter continued to echo through the air. Magnus stared back silently, his thoughts unclear. Sadi's face, drained of its usual domineering aura, was slick with a cold sweat. Gone was the confident sadist and the orgasmic glow, replaced by a woman raw with terror.

Magnus, however, refused to succumb to despair.

"So the warden croaks a few pessimistic words, and suddenly your spirit crumbles?"

He turned to Sadi, his voice cold but resolute.

"We write our own fate, woman. Remember that!"

Sadi's eyes widened. A spark of defiance flickered back to life in their depths.

She was his woman, and she wouldn't surrender until he did.

Meanwhile, on the other side of Impel Down, violence erupted like a volcano.

Blackbeard and his crew, their faces twisted with glee, roared with laughter that echoed through the corridors like the howls of deranged beasts.

Laffitte, the hypnotist, had secured them a Marine battleship – the perfect getaway vehicle.

"Saved ourselves a heap of trouble, haven't we?"

Blackbeard boomed, his voice a gravelly tremor that shook the surroundings.

"That telekinetic kept that poison warden occupied while we snagged our prize!"

The other pirates erupted in raucous laughter, their amusement evident in the glint of their eyes and the gleam of their weapons. They no longer needed to fear the venomous wrath of Magellan.

Catarina Devon, her crimson lips stretched into a feral grin, hefted her newly-acquired weapon – a massive, ornately decorated battle-axe that gleamed wickedly in the dim light.

"Such a shame that telekinesis guy is likely another one of Magellan's victims!"

She bellowed, her voice tinged with a hint of disappointment.

"I would have loved to add him to my collection of toys!"

"Fufufu! He's dead so let him send a decent farewell!" Vasco Shot consoled.

His words ignited the crew's bloodlust. Shiryu unleashed a whirlwind of attacks. His blades, imbued with a dark power, sliced through docked ships like butter, leaving behind smoldering hulks and raining sparks onto the churning water below. Vasco Shot flexed his immense strength and pulverized another vessel with a single devastating blow. The sound of splintering wood and groaning metal echoed through the air…

"Let the surviving fools chase shadows!" Blackbeard bellowed, his dark eyes gleaming with anticipation. "We've got bigger fish to fry!"

With their stolen battleship and Laffitte weaving his hypnotic magic at the Gates of Justice, Blackbeard steered the vessel towards the horizon. His sights were set on the brewing war at Marineford…

Magnus left the wreckage of Level 3 behind him, racing through the remaining prison levels until he burst through the heavily damaged entrance.

The sight that greeted him was a breathtaking contrast to the years of darkness he'd endured. A vast expanse of sparkling blue ocean stretched as far as he could see, bathed in the warm glow of the sun. It was both exhilarating and terrifying.

"Freedom!"

The fresh sea air filling his lungs with a sweetness he'd almost forgotten.

But his joy was short-lived. He focused his senses on the vast ocean, a wave of disappointment crashing over him. There were no Marine ships in sight!

The only signs of life were a few fading echoes on his senses – sinking hulks in the distance, likely victims of some recent chaos.

"Wait!"

A single, lone battleship remained afloat in the far corner, surrounded by the wreckage.

The distance between them, however, seemed impossibly vast.

Perhaps this was the reason for the warden's claims?

Sadi, her voice shaky but trying to regain control, looked at the empty sea and the smoke billowing from the destroyed ships.

"The Marines are fighting the Whitebeard Pirates at Marineford," she stammered. "This war... it was our chance to escape!"

"War?" Imprisoned for so long, he hadn't cared to stay informed about the world's turmoil. Only the prospect of escape had lured him out of his isolated world.

"Portgas D. Ace," Sadi explained, urgency creeping into her voice. "The brother of Luffy, the pirate I mentioned before. Whitebeard - one of the Four Emperors- will definitely be at Marineford to save him from execution."

Magnus closed his eyes. He vaguely recalled Whitebeard's incredible power and, despite his arrogance, his unwavering loyalty to his crew.

Suddenly, a realization struck him, a connection sparking in his mind.

"Wait a minute!" he blurted out, his voice laced with urgency. "If all the Marines are at Marineford... wouldn't Sabaody Archipelago be practically unguarded?"

Sadi's eyes widened in confusion.

"Sabaody? Why does that matter now, sir?"

"You'll see," Magnus replied, a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes. "We're taking that battleship."

Sadi's apprehension grew.

"The battleship? But sir, it's too far! Even at your best, the flight would be dangerous. You must be exhausted from the fight with Magellan and...!!"

Her voice trailed off.

Despite the ordeal they had just faced, Magnus seemed to radiate renewed energy.

How was that possible?!?

Was he even a human!?

"I will follow your orders, sir," Sadi bowed politely.

"Good!" Magnus waved his hand towards the destroyed entrance. "We're going to fly!"

With a groan of torn metal, a massive chunk ripped free from the debris pile and hovered in the air.

Using debris as a makeshift platform was a perilous option. Rising too high would expose them to the battleship's cannons and any potential airborne threats. Skimming the water, on the other hand, risked attracting monstrous sea creatures lurking beneath the waves.

Sadi, her face a mask of conflicting emotions – fear, admiration, and a sliver of desperate hope – climbed onto the makeshift platform.

She has accepted him as her master, so she couldn't waiver in her actions.

Magnus, with a wide smile, launched himself and Sadi towards the distant battleship…
