"I want a divorce, Mr. Walsh," Mariam snapped. She was pinned beneath Jackson Walsh, wrist locked overhead. "You're terrible in bed. I'm sure I can find a much better bed warmer elsewhere."
Jackson's eyes darkened dangerously.
"Try it. Let another man touch you." A chilling smile tugged at his lips. "And there won't be any other men left in this world."

Mariam returns home, only to discover that the family’s crushing debts have already been paid by Jackson Walsh.
But his help comes with a price: he wants Mariam to become his wife.
The man she once loved.
The man who shattered her heart.
And now, the man who holds her family's future in his hands.
Forced into a marriage with the man she now despises, Mariam has only one goal—to escape before she loses herself all over again.
But Jackson has no intention of letting her go.

Write a reviewThe book had a good start. Excited to see where it goes from here between Marian and Jackson, the scumbag. I hope he chews on his ****! Keep up the work, author-san!
My favorite author has dropped her second book oh my god!! I was sad when I finished reading "Darling CEO I'll marry you". I was wondering when the author will write another book but here we gooooo. I am so happy. The best part is characters from "Darling CEO I'll marry you" appear in this book from time to time. (Kang Minghao is a character from her previous book and he was one of my favorite characters, I'M SCREAMING). I think Mariam Doyle was also mentioned in her previous book, I had no idea that her new book would be based on her story. This story is kind of different from her previous work. This is more dark and thrilling. Jackson Walsh is very intimidating. Knowing the author I think there is some kind of misunderstanding going on between Jackson and Mariam. I dont think he cheated on her in the past, but if he did cheat then I don't forgive cheaters. I would request for the male lead to be changed. Ronan seems more like a sweet and trustworthy guy. But I wont be too quick to judge, I will see where the story goes [img=More pls][img=More pls][img=More pls][img=More pls][img=More pls][img=More pls][img=More pls]
OMG! second chance romance with an obsessive CEO!!! I'm hooked. I love the second chance for them and hope he does right by her this time. I can't wait to read more. Keep updating, author!
😈A perfect novel for when you want something to satisfy your sadistic cravings.😈 MC starts with hate toward ML?! Hell Yeaaah! ML is obviously obsessed with her from the very beginning, BUT he has no idea how to express it like a normal human being... his tactics are too aggressive, and because of that, MC is disgusted by him... MC is not a pushover and can stand on her own ground. She's got a spine! If it wasn't life being cruel to her, I bet she would have slapped the shit out of him. They are actually childhood friends, and I love how she knows him so well, but at the same time is so dense to his true feelings toward her. 🙏😭 I'm not surprised, he does act like an ass towards her. I can't wait for him to grovel! It will be hard to resist him as well, since he is - powerful - rich - influential - feared - untouchable ... but all of that means nothing if the only one he wants, doesn't want him back. I'm gloating at the mere thought 🤣🤣🤣 Please, please, author, don't make it too easy for him, I beg you! Let's enjoy his pain to the fullest 🙏❤️🤣
A totally shameless 5-star review from the author! 😄 Mariam and Jackson have been living in my head rent-free for a long time, so I’m thrilled to finally share their story in my second book. Lately, I’ve been reading a lot of emotional stories—like The Forgotten Field, How to Perfectly Break Up with You and I Only Need the Duke's Child—which inspired me to write a romance novel filled with angst, melancholy and plenty of bitter sweet moments of my own. I poured my heart into this plot, and I really hope you can see my growth from my debut novel. Let me know what you think in the reviews!
I am honestly a sucker for CEO romance stories, so this book was right up my alley. I am waiting to see the peak scenes unfold.🤭

Pretty cool, i love how Mariam is terrified and outmatched but she never lets that fear overtake her. She keeps talking back even when she's staring down the barrel of a gun, badass fr. Sad too, that graduation call...oof, tough on the heart. This story is going to break a lot of people, mhm, i recommend giving it a try.
