"Sorry, we didn't protect you well sir. We put your life in danger," Whinging Hollow said, coughing up blood. He still needed to pour out his apologies to Ed Harris.

He had really complex feelings towards Ed Harris.

Ed Harris let him see the hope of a bountiful reward, but it had been stripped away by the club. As such, his heart was filled with resentment. Afterwards, the people of the club, in helping him with this quest, had all been annihilated. A whole heap of equipment had been lost. Of course, his heart was now filled with guilt and fear.

This mood, when expressed to Ed Harris, was one of complaint.

If he hadn't been given this quest, perhaps the target place wouldn't have been Longspear Valley, and perhaps the club wouldn't have faced this loss. Then, he wouldn't have to bear the burden of being known as the initiator of all this trouble and suffering.
