Chapter 130: Exception to my principles

Adrian stood in front of Clara with a deep frown marred on his face. His eyes intently stared at her flustered cheeks as he slowly leaned forward and whispered. "Breathe"

His deep velvety voice pulled her trance and Clara sucked in a deep breath with her eyelashes fluttering in relief.

Clara was still in the middle of composing her thoughts when soft lips brushed past her lips and she momentarily froze.

Her eyes darted towards Adrian and she watched him walk away leaving her puzzled by his sudden retreat.

"..."

"Miss Mathew, here's your lunch box" Leo's voice broke her out of her reverie, and she quickly flaunted him with a smile. 

Clara took the bag and walked out of the house.

Clara contemplated whether or not Adrian knew about Vincent dropping her off at his penthouse. She wouldn't have stressed if Adrian had not shown his displeasure whenever his brother was around.
