Midas smiled, looking around a bit more and seeing nothing off with the surroundings.

"What? Don't trust me?" said the Shadow, flashing a toothy smile at Midas while it seemingly attempted to rile him up.

Cute.

"You probably thought I was being cute huh… As far as I'm concerned, you're the cute one," said the Shadow, shaking its head the same way Midas often does.

Oh… Even his mannerisms were taken and copied… Interesting.

Noticing the challenge in those words, Midas said, "Why do you say that?" as he took a seat at the table, touching nothing and staring at the Shadow that sat at a height that was shorter than him.

At such proximity, Midas could notice it now. There was a slight difference between how Midas used to look in his memories and how this Shadow looked now.

There was a darkness in its eyes that Midas just could not explain no matter how he tried.
