Chapter 425: I Can Totally See It

Interviewing was about as unpleasant as Sylvie had anticipated but she got the number of workers she needed eventually. The grand opening was set and ready to go.

Drake had gotten her a lot of advertising too both online and on a billboard. It specifically mentioned that it was featuring Kira Harrington's recipes so the line was out the door on the first day and they sold out of everything. That was incredibly gratifying. 

She came home in an excellent mood, bouncing through the front door. She managed to beat him home since bakeries started and ended their days earlier than a lot of businesses. She was in the middle of stirring a pot of soup when he got back and momentarily abandoned it to hug him tightly. 

"Your advertising really worked! We completely sold out!" 

"Told you. Great job, Sylvie."
