Chapter 15: Let's Travel Remnant! (Ft. Ruby Rose)
So the 1st option has been chosen. I'll do 5+ chapters of this then move on to another world.

"Why are we doing this again!" Ruby yelled out to me, firing another dust bullet from Crescent Rose.
"The author couldn't figure out how to start this. Did you know he spent hours trying to figure out how to start the chapter?" I gracefully dodged the bullet.
"...What!"
"Nothing."
Currently, I was training my body with the help of Ruby. I've figured out that since the system supplies my strength, I don't exactly know how to use it.
I've been given great power, but it's unstable and could burst at any minute. Right now, I'm only able to control my strength. If I couldn't There'd be craters just from walking.
My speed is different. My body can't process where I want to go. When I battled Raven, it took great concentration just to move at the same speed as her. Basically, I'm a walking tank.
A little backtrack. I've been travelling with Ruby for about a week now, and it turns out we have some common interest.
And the reason were travelling together is... Complicated. Ruby showed up at my door one day and the system then issued a World Quest to kill Salem. Since Ruby didn't use her silver eyes, I had to explain all the shit.
She was surprised when she found out, but soon calmed down. When she asked how I knew all this, I just said: "I'm good"
Yada Yada, Ruby gets determined... And boom. Your all caught up.
"That's enough for now I guess!" Ruby nodded her head and put away CR. I then turned to look at the starstruck kids. "Did you enjoy the show?" They rapidly nodded their heads.
We currently resided in a small Village, after we killed the Grimm that invaded. They were thankful and allowed us to rest here for a couple of days, which was coming to an end.
"Should we start packing up?" Ruby asked as she walked towards me. I stare into the distance for a moment before nodding.
(Timeskip)
"If we don't take to many breaks, I'm sure we can reach the Grimmlands within 18 days." I say to Ruby, who was currently finishing up a Grimm.
Even though I could teleport to TLOD. Ruby protested against it, something about a hero's travel. I shrugged and decided why the hell not?
"Got it!" She swung her scythe down, and the Grimm fell. She then did a little happy dance... Fucking. Adorable.
"Did you see that! Did you! Did you!" She excitedly ran up to me and started jumping up and down, her eyes beaming with glee.
I don't exactly know why she's so excited after killing a single Grimm... But it's cute, so who cares.
With a soft smile, I pat her head. "I did, and it was very cool." She hummed, seemingly enjoying the headpat... Anime logic I guess. It's also kind of weird how intimate we are.
"Let's continue." I removed my hand as she seemed a little sad, but quickly regained her mood.
"Umu!" (Kill Me. Just fucking end me as quick as possible.)
Damn, that's really cute. How could one be so adorable. It's like the two gods themselves, crafted Ruby with extreme dedication... Also, your not Japanese. Don't say umu.

4 more days past, and I realized a big thing. Even though it's barely sensible... Ruby has magic. It's an extremely small amount, but she does have it.
Due to being overpowered in this world, I could for some reason check her attribute, and it was wind. I haven't told her yet, and just decided to wait till we get to the next town.
I guess it makes sense the main character has magic in a now magicless world... To be a main character, means the world will bow down to you.
[Boss Battle Occurred!]
"What- OOF!" I felt something kick my ribs, sending me through the forest.
"REN!" I could hear Ruby's distant call, before I crashed into the ground.
"...ow." Getting up, I rubbed my ribs as I looked around for the attacker. I didn't get hurt that bad, but It still stung.
"Ren, are you okay?!" Ruby hastily asked me.
I mean, other then the dirt, and dust on my clothes, and a few tears here and there, I'm pretty much fine. I nod my head, as Ruby let out a small sigh of relief.
"Thank, Oum." Oum? Oh right, I forgot it was like that. Weird how I haven't heard it till now.
"SKRAEEEEE!!" An horrible scream rang out, as a figure fell from the sky. It looked human, but it's color was a deathly black, It's arms and legs were covered in veins, that pulsated slightly with each breath. It's eyes were a dark orange, and void of any emotions.

Reading over it's stats, I glanced at it, watching it stare deeply at us. Ruby seemed scared, while I blanky looked at it... It's basically equal to me.
"Ruby... get back. It's to strong for yo- !!" Before I could finish my sentence, I had to grab the incoming fist.
The force of his punch blew me back a little, but I quickly regained my bearings and threw him forward.
"NOW RUBY!" I yelled out to her frozen figure. She regained her clarity and ran off into the forest. Even though she's a protagonist, I don't think she would survive.
Sighing, I shake of the numbness of my palm, watching as the Ouroboros walked towards me.
"I don't suppose we could not fight? I kinda got places to be, and I'm finally not thinking of killing for once... So how bout it?" I asked in my kindest voice, hoping this thing would reconsider.
My only response was a loud screech. "So is that a no?" Great.... I can't think of anything edgy.
With nothing else to say, we both rush towards each other.
And our fist collide.

I'm sorry I couldn't make this chapter longer. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't figure out how to start this.
I'll start working on the next chapter after I post this, and hopefully it's more than 1000 words.
