Tulgor sat back, he was done. The Sage worked to stand up, eventually staggering on his thin legs he made his way toward a certain corner of his lab.
A massive body, standing a terrifying 4 meters high, rusted and scorched, stared past Tulgor its eyes holes empty.
The frail and ancient man looked up at the Golem's face. "Why…" Tulgor mourned, falling to his knees, "With all my strength, with all my wisdom and power…" tears began to flow from Tulgor's eyes, the first form of emotion he'd shown in millennia.
"Why can't you come ALIVE?!" Tulgor shouted, his rasping voice cracking, the intense might of a Sage sent shockwaves through the empty star system he'd self-exiled himself to: asteroids, moons and planets being shoved out of their orbit and blasted into deep space.
Then, nothing.
Tulgor's aura abruptly froze; just before his sight faded, above him a light began to shine… two lights… two spherical lights suddenly appeared in the eye sockets of his first creation.
Was it an illusion? His mind creating a mirage in his final moments?
"M… Master?" The voice boomed around Tulgor, and with the voice echoing, the Sage smiled. As Tulgor's body slowly crumbled into dust, Saxton Hale heard his creator murmuring:
"Australian Justice indeed…"
