Chapter 2: Chapter 1: A new Beginning!
Trying new formats for my writing for this chapter, tell me if you like it.
I felt my body being sucked in towards to the string of white lights when I suddenly opened my eyes. Everything was a blur as I tried to move my head but couldn't.
Panic rushed over me but that slowly faded as my vision became clearer. I was able to look wherever my head was looking but couldn't move my neck at all and had to rely on the person holding me.
There was a auburn haired woman who looked to be in her late 20's and a black haired man who looked to be the same age. The auburn haired woman was holding me in her arms as both she and the man were crying tears of joy.
My ears had been constantly ringing for the past 5 minutes but it was slowly turning from a high pitched tone to voices speaking english. I begun to be able to make out sentences as I heard the people in maid outfits and two women wearing white talking to the auburn haired woman.
"Congratulations Madam, you've given birth to a healthy baby boy!" A woman in white said.
*Sob* "Thank goodness you're alive!" The auburn haired woman wailed.
"Sir, we do understand that you would like some alone time with your wife and child but before that you must tell us his name?" The woman in white said.
*Sniffle* "Ah, yes! Since he is a boy lets go with Joel! Is that okay dear?" The man asked while wiping away a tear.
"Yes that's a beautiful name dear." The auburn haired woman commented.
"It's decided then! But also sir, will this young one inherit the family last name?" The woman asked again while writing down my name on a wooden board.
"Of course! You can't have royalty who doesn't inherit our family name!" The man said to the person that I could now assume was some sort of doctor writing my birth certificate.
"As expected of the King!" A maid said quietly.
"Yes, this is a joyous occasion for the Kingdom!" Another maid added.
"Okay sir we will require you to stamp here with the royal seal in order to officially register him as your son." The doctor said respectfully as he showed him the wooden board. The man took out a seal and stamped it on the board.
"Congratulations his Majesty for the birth of a new healthy prince!" Everyone in the room cheered and their faces showed they were truly happy.
"Your Majesty we will give you, your wife and your child some alone time now." The doctor said as she ushered everyone out of the room.
The two left in the room were at this point 100% my mother and father. They both looked at me intensely with a little confusion on their faces.
"Dear, this baby is too quiet, why hasn't he cried?" Father asked to Mother.
"I'm also not sure dear since this hasn't happened before. I feel that everything is okay though." Mother comforted father while looking at me.
She touched my cheeks gently as I admired her beauty. She had a slender body from what I could see so far with medium breasts and beautiful eyes the same colour as her hair.
Father had a build that looked like a knight that had gone to many battles, he had bulky muscle pretty much anywhere the eye could see but it didn't pronounce itself as much as it would with modern day body builders. His face was rough but subtle and his eyes were a beautiful hazelnut colour.
"Joel, welcome to your new home." They both said gently while looking at that time. I had a feeling that I hadn't felt my entire life except for with Alice. That was the feeling of being truly loved.
